Abstract

Background The life of the Prophet Muhammad SAW is based on a rich and profound story about a man who is an example for mankind. Muhammad was born in Mecca in 570 AD and grew up in a difficult environment, experiencing loss and hardship from an early age. However, his noble qualities such as honesty, wisdom, and compassion for others formed a strong personality and became the foundation of future leadership. As a prophet, Muhammad received revelations from Allah which later became the foundation of Islamic teachings. The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze important aspects of the life of the Prophet Muhammad and present examples that can be taken to be applied in everyday life. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, focusing on narrative analysis to understand the life story of the Prophet Muhammad and the values ​​contained therein. Data collected through analysis of various sources, namely the Qur'an and Hadith which include the teachings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad, biographical books, scientific articles, and other literature that discuss the life of the Prophet Muhammad and the socio-political context of his time. The results of this study are expected to provide a deep understanding of the example of the Prophet Muhammad and its relevance to mankind today.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of ijtihad in responding to the challenges of Islamic law in the modern era. In the era of modernization marked by social changes, technological advances, and foreign cultural influences, Islamic law is faced with various complex challenges. This paper aims to analyze the role and function of ijtihad in facing the challenges of Islamic law in the modern era. This research aims to explore how ijtihad as a method of legal reasoning can adapt to the changing times. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study design to analyze the role of ijtihad in responding to the challenges of Islamic law in the modern era. Data was collected through a study of various literature including articles, journals, and relevant Islamic legal documents. Ijtihad comes from tge word “jahada” whiche means to sstrive hard. Ijtihad is a serious effort by a mujtahid to explore sharia law and its main sources, namely the al-Qur’an and hadist. When these 2 sources do not provide a clear answer, ijtihad is carried out through certain methods. In the figh tradition, there are several methods used in ijtihad such as qiyas, istihsan, mashalalha murshala, and urf. Overall, the role of ijtihad in responding to the challenges of Islamic law in the modern era is very relevant. The results of this research indicate that ijtihad plays a significant role in modern life, especially in providing solutions to contemporary problems faced by Muslims. Ijtihad can be a tool to strengthen understanding and active practice of Islamic teachings, making Islamic law remain relevant and beneficial for humanity in this modern era.

Abstract

Humans play a crucial role in shaping the dynamics of life on Earth. From philosophical and sociological perspectives, humans are not only thinking entities but also members of society with social responsibilities. This research is driven by the desire to understand human contributions in addressing global challenges such as climate change, poverty, and rapid technological advancements. The main objective of this study is to analyze human existence within society from an interdisciplinary perspective to identify approaches that can enhance social harmony and global well-being. This study employs a qualitative method, conducting a literature analysis from various sources to explore existentialist ideas and the social responsibilities of humans. The analysis is performed in-depth to understand how individuals build social relationships and confront life’s challenges. The results indicate that humans, through their roles as agents of change, have substantial potential to foster societal welfare. This study concludes that a deeper understanding of human social roles can lay the foundation for a more harmonious and sustainable life.

Abstract

Gharar, which means uncertainty or speculation in transactions, is a very important concept in Islamic law. In Islam, every transaction is expected to run with transparency and clarity, so that all parties involved can understand their rights and obligations. Transactions containing elements of gharar often harm one party, thus creating injustice. This journal uses a qualitative approach to explore and understand the phenomenon of gharar in the context of Islamic law. This approach will allow for an in-depth view of how gharar is understood, applied, and its implications in business practices. The objectives of this journal are, Analyzing the Concept of Gharar: Identifying and analyzing the definition, characteristics, and categories of gharar in the context of Islamic law according to various sources, including the Quran and Hadith. Recognizing the types of Gharar: Gharar in the object of the transaction, Gharar in price, Gharar in time. And knowing the influence of Gharar in the context of modern economics.

Abstract

According to Dean Oliver (2004), there are four important factors in determining a team's victory, namely: 1. Field goals (FGA which consists of 2 points and 3 points), 2. Free throw (FT), 3. Offensive rebound (OR) , 4. Turnover. These four factors are important things that coaches and athletes must know so that they can evaluate the previous match and improve it for the next match. Based on the problem formulation and problem boundaries that have been written, the researcher can write down the aim of this research, namely to find out how field goals (a combination of 2 points and 3 points), free throws, offensive rebounds and turnovers in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics match.This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were USA and FRANCE basketball players. The samples in this study were USA players and FRANCE players who took part in the basketball match in Tokyo 2020. In this research the instrument used was match statistics at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. This research used data collection techniques with documents, namely in the form of data from statistical results from matches between USA VS FRANCE at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics using the ESPN application.From the research data, it can be seen that the average 2points (2P) shot by one team in a match is 80%. The average 3points shot (3P) by one team in a match is 38%. One team's average free throw (FT) shot in a match is 60%. The average offensive rebound (OR) for a team in a match is 12 times. And the average turnover (TO) for a team in a match is 15 times. If converted to the percentage proposed by Dean Oliver, the 2points (2P) indicator has the largest percentage, namely 18.64%, followed by the 3points (3P) indicator, namely 11.18%, free throw (FT) 9.55% , offensive rebound (OR) 2 times, and turnover (TO) 4 times. This data can be used to determine the minimum number and percentage so that a team can win a basketball match at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. When looking at the results of 12 matches, all winning teams have exceeded these percentages and amounts. The research conclusions are: 1. The average number of shots and the percentage of 2 points (2P) is 40 with a percentage of 80%. 2. The average number of shots and the percentage of 3 points (3P) is 19 with a percentage of 38%. 3. The average number of shots and free throw (FT) percentage is 30 with a percentage of 60%. 4. The number and average of offensive rebounds (OR) is 19 with an average of 12 offensive rebounds. 5. The number of numbers and average turnover (TO) is 21 with an average turnover of 15 times.

Abstract

Women's leadership in the perspective of gender equality in Mandailing Natal, a region with strong traditional customs and religious values. This study aims to understand the community's perception of women's leadership and analyze the obstacles and opportunities faced by women in leadership. Using gender theory and transformational leadership theory, this study identifies that patriarchal cultural norms and conservative religious interpretations are the main challenges for women leaders. However, women's success in informal leadership contexts, such as social organizations, shows the potential to change community perceptions. This study contributes to the academic literature on women's leadership and offers strategic recommendations to promote gender equality at the local level. Furthermore, this study finds that education and exposure to gender equality issues can play an important role in transforming community attitudes. In addition, more inclusive policy support and gender mainstreaming at the local level are key to opening more space for women in formal leadership. This study offers practical and theoretical contributions in understanding the dynamics of women's leadership and provides strategic recommendations to realize gender equality in Mandailing Natal.

Abstract

The disparity in educational access in Indonesia, particularly in remote areas, poses a significant challenge to the development of human resources nationwide. This article highlights the crucial role of education in unlocking individual potential and explores efforts to improve equal access to education across all regions of Indonesia. A literature review methodology is employed to examine the factors contributing to this educational inequality, including physical barriers, economic constraints, inadequate facilities, curriculum quality gaps, and technological disparities. The article also discusses the negative impacts of unequal educational access, such as economic stagnation and social inequality. Through empowerment initiatives, collaboration with the government, capacity building for educators, and active community involvement, solutions to achieve more equitable education in remote areas can be realized.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and increasingly fierce business competition, companies need to have a progressive and sustainable work culture to stay relevant and grow. Leaders have a key role in shaping and directing organizational culture, which includes the values, attitudes, and behaviors desired in an organization. A progressive work culture can improve performance, innovation, and employee satisfaction and engagement. This study aims to understand the strategic role of leaders in creating a progressive and sustainable work culture in organizations. This research uses a literature review design with the SPIDER approach (Sample, Phenomenon of Interest, Design, Evaluation, and Research Type), this method was chosen because it is able to accommodate both qualitative and quantitative research. The results showed that leaders who have a clear vision, good communication skills, and active involvement in developing and maintaining organizational values, can create a progressive and sustainable work culture. Based on the discussion in this article, it can be concluded that leaders play a vital role in creating a progressive and sustainable work culture. With effective leadership, a work culture that supports sustainable development can be created, which in turn can improve organizational competitiveness and performance.

Abstract

Elderly is the final stage and period when a person reaches the age of 60 years and above. One of the characteristics of the elderly is physical and mental decline. At this time the ederly really need attention from the servants and mentors who accompany them in living life. The purpose of this coaching is to increase the enthusiasm and motivation of the elderly. Counseling for the elderly has a very important role in improving their quality of life. With proper guidance such as health programs, social activities, and skills training, the elderly can feel more empowered and involved in their daily lives. Coaching allows older adults to feel valued, which leads to psychological well-being. Not only can they gain new knowledge, but they can also build positive social relationships. Therefore, the role of the coach towards the elderly is very important. It also helps to create a supportive environment where the elderly feel valued and cared for. It therefore focuses not only on physical aspects, but also emotional and social well-being, to help the elderly live a more meaningful and happy old age. With the right approach, coaches can help older adults remain productive and contribute to society moving away from the confines of the home.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the aesthetic concept of the form of ornaments found in the reliefs of the Gunungan Raja Cackraningrat IV Bangkalan Madura. Researchers use a qualitative descriptive approach, namely research that is taken from people's opinions and behavior which produces descriptive data in the form of written and spoken words. Qualitative descriptive research does not look for or explain relationships, does not test hypotheses or make predictions but aims to create descriptions that are systematic, factual and accurate. The aesthetic form of relief ornaments in the burial complex of King Cackraningrat IV which is found on the tomb wall consisting of 9 panels in the shape of mountains where the motif used is a form of floral cross-section. Analysis of the aesthetic form of relief on the mountains and namely a combination of two forms of main leaf motifs from two forms of motifs. Different florae undergo stylization to form decorative tendril motifs and mountain motifs. The ornaments used are the type of ornaments that we usually encounter in temples where Hindus worship. Mountains in Hinduism are a symbol of the upper realm, or the sacred place of the gods. The ornaments found on the mountain reliefs at the burial complex of King Cackraningrat IV are also a symbol of harmony that was applied in that era.
