Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze efforts to foster students’ spirituality and religiosity through local wisdom embodied in the Kamis Jum’at Manis tradition at MA Nurul Hidayah Sumberrejo Paiton. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, religious activity coordinators, students, and community leaders. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source, technique, and time triangulation, as well as member checking. The findings reveal that the Kamis Jum’at Manis tradition functions as an effective local wisdom-based educational medium for fostering students’ spirituality and religiosity. Activities such as the recitation of Surah Yasin, tahlil, dhikr, istighasah, collective prayers, and students’ active involvement in preparing the event contribute to enhancing worship awareness, strengthening spiritual closeness to Allah SWT, and developing habitual religious behavior. Furthermore, the tradition instills important character values, including mutual cooperation, responsibility, social awareness, solidarity, and respect for teachers and parents. The study demonstrates that the integration of Islamic values and local wisdom through the Kamis Jum’at Manis tradition not only strengthens students’ religious character but also serves as a means of preserving local culture in accordance with the objectives of Islamic education. Therefore, this tradition can be considered a model for strengthening students’ spirituality and religiosity through local wisdom-based educational practices in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the religious values portrayed in the movie Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 from the perspective of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The research employed a qualitative approach using a library research design and content analysis techniques. The primary data source was the film Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2, while secondary data were obtained from books, journals, articles, and other relevant scholarly literature. Data were collected through documentary observation and literature review, while data validity was strengthened through theoretical triangulation and in-depth interviews with experts in Islamic education and media studies. The findings indicate that the film represents three major dimensions of religious values, namely aqidah (Islamic creed), sharia (Islamic law), and akhlaq (Islamic morality). The main character, Fahri, is portrayed as an ideal Muslim figure who demonstrates strong faith, consistency in worship, tolerance, patience, and social concern for others regardless of religious differences. Furthermore, the film reflects the principles of religious moderation (wasathiyah) and the concept of Islam as Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin (a mercy to all creation). This study also finds that Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 is relevant as an alternative instructional medium for Islamic Religious Education at the senior high school level because it can stimulate students’ emotional engagement and strengthen character education through audio-visual learning. Therefore, the film can serve as an innovative and contextual educational medium in Islamic learning and teaching practices.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal’s strategies for improving teachers’ pedagogical competence at SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Medan. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research participants consisted of the principal, vice principal, and teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the principal implemented several strategies to enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence, including academic supervision, professional training programs, participation in Subject Teacher Consultation Forums (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran or MGMP), and teacher performance evaluations. These strategies were carried out directly through classroom observations and the provision of constructive feedback to teachers. The implementation of these strategies contributed to improvements in teachers’ abilities to design and implement effective learning activities. However, several challenges were identified, including limited educational facilities and variations in teachers’ competencies. Supporting factors included the principal’s strong commitment and effective collaboration among teachers. Therefore, the study concludes that the principal’s strategies play a significant role in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competence and improving the overall quality of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, analyze, and explain the factors that influence employee performance in carrying out work activities in the red sugar home industry. The research was conducted at the Red Sugar Home Industry in the Pegajahan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Some of the dominant factors affecting employee performance at the Red Sugar Home Industry in Pegajahan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency include leadership, skills, and work environment. This study is a quantitative study with a sample size of 70 employees. The T-test (partial) results showed t-count 8.487>t-table 1.668 and significant 0.000<0.05, so Ha is accepted, which means that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The t-value of 4.630 > t-table 1.668 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 means that skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The t-value of 1.878 > t-table 1.668 and a significance of 0.044 < 0.05 indicates that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The F-test (simultaneous) results show an F-value of 65.853 > F-table 2.74 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, which indicates that leadership, skills, and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The R Square value shows a coefficient of determination of 0.750 or 75.0%, meaning that the employee performance variable can be explained by the leadership, skills, and work environment variables, while the remaining 25.0% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in Indonesia's economy, but because the quality of their financial reporting is still low, it becomes one of the obstacles in business decision-making and access to financing. This study aims to analyze the effect of accounting competence and financial literacy on the quality of MSME financial reports, as well as to test the role of digital application adoption as a moderating variable. The research approach used is quantitative with a survey method. Data was collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 125 MSME actors in Medan Amplas District. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The research is expected to show that accounting competence and financial literacy have a positive impact on the quality of financial reports, and that adopting digital applications strengthens this relationship. This study is at technology readiness level (TRL) 3. It aligns with SDG 4 – Strengthening Knowledge and Literacy. Improving the quality of financial reports will increase access to financing and investment for SMEs, in line with SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth. Digitalizing financial reports is a form of innovation that enhances the competitiveness of SMEs. Developing this infrastructure aligns with SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. This research supports Asta Cita-6 of the President of Indonesia, regarding (Strengthening the Empowerment of SMEs and Cooperatives), which aims to boost economic independence and the competitiveness of national SMEs in a sustainable way.

Abstract

In the digital age, students need to be creative, which is impacted by things like self-confidence and digital literacy. This study examines the association between digital literacy and creativity in students enrolled in SMK Negeri 45 Jakarta's Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) Program, using self-confidence as a mediating variable. A sample of 135 pupils was chosen using proportionate random selection as part of a quantitative methodology. Questionnaires were used to gather data, which were then analyzed using SmartPLS software version 4.0 and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The analysis included measurement and structural model evaluations and hypothesis testing. Findings demonstrate that digital literacy positively impacts creativity and self-confidence. Additionally, self-confidence positively affects creativity and mediates the relationship between digital literacy and creativity. The study concludes that enhancing digital literacy can promote creativity through increased self-confidence, and suggests future research include a more diverse sample for broader generalizability.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of f\ermented coconut meal supplementation on the performance of Boerka goats, including average daily gain (ADG), feed intake, and feed conversion ratio (FCR). The research was conducted at the Kupang Livestock Training Center from April to May 2026 using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments: P0 (100% basal feed), P1 (70% basal feed + 20% fermented coconut meal), P2 (75% basal feed + 25% fermented coconut meal), and P3 (80% basal feed + 30% fermented coconut meal). The results showed that fermented coconut meal supplementation improved the performance of Boerka goats. The highest ADG was obtained in treatment P3 at 311 g/head/day, while the lowest was recorded in P0 at 236 g/head/day. The highest feed intake was observed in P3 at 16.80 kg. The best feed conversion ratio was achieved in P1 with a value of 1.59. It can be concluded that fermented coconut meal has the potential to improve the growth performance of Boerka goats.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Voice Over characteristics on the content of TikTok @ceritamakan.mks accounts on the culinary buying interest of Generation Z in Makassar City. Voice Over as an audio element in TikTok content plays an important role in conveying product information in a clear, attractive, and persuasive manner so that it has the potential to influence consumer decisions. The research method used is quantitative with an explanatory survey approach. The research population includes Generation Z in Makassar City who have accessed the content of the TikTok account @ceritamakan.mks, with a sample of 100 respondents determined through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression, t-test, and determination coefficients (R²) with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study show that the characteristics of Voice Over have a positive and significant effect on the culinary buying interest of Generation Z in Makassar City. The regression equation obtained was Y = 0.633 + 0.363X with a calculated t value of 18.362 and a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). The determination coefficient value of 0.775 shows that the characteristics of Voice Over are able to explain 77.5% of the variation in culinary buying interest of Generation Z. This finding confirms that the better the quality of Voice Over in TikTok content, the higher the interest in culinary purchases, thus becoming a strategic element in digital marketing communication.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the addition of gamal leaf flour (Gliricidia sepium) in the manufacture of feed wafers on the chemical and physical quality related to cattle feed, as well as determine the most optimal proportion of addition. The research was carried out at the SVD Halikelen Livestock Agriculture Unit, Naekasa Village, West Tasifeto District, Belu Regency for 40 days with four treatments, namely P0 (without gamal flour), P1 (10%), P2 (20%), and P3 (30%). The parameters analyzed included dry ingredients, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, as well as physical aspects in the form of color, aroma, and palatability. The results showed that the addition of gamal leaf flour improved the chemical quality of feed wafers, with an increase in dry matter from 72.727% (P0) to 75.344% (P3), crude protein from 12.091% to 15.643%, crude fat from 4.258% to 4.689%, and crude fiber from 8.849% to 10.200%. Physically, the wafer changes color to brownish-green and the distinctive aroma of gamal leaves is getting stronger. Although the P3 treatment showed a longer consumption time, all wafers were still consumed, indicating good palatability. Thus, the P3 treatment with the addition of 30% gamal leaf flour is considered the most effective, because it provides the highest nutritional quality while still being preferred by livestock, so it has the potential to be a strategic local feed ingredient.
