Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how effective the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is. The research method used in this study is the experimental method. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling technique. The instrument for collecting data in this study is an essay test consisting of 8 items. The data analysis technique used is the t-test, and based on the t-test calculation shows t-count = 10,098 and t-table = 2,002 at the significant level of 5% or (???? = 0,05) and the degree of freedom (dk = 58) which means t-count t table (10,098 2,002) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion is that the average mathematical problem solving ability of students given the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is higher than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who are given an expository approach. And the effectiveness calculation for the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is quite high, which is 2,605. Thus, there is an influence and effectiveness of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in the teaching and learning process.

The research model uses ADDIE. The test subjects in the study were class VII-D of Islamic Qon Middle School. The research instruments used were interview sheets, validation sheets, test instruments, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results are: (1) the evaluation tool is feasible because it meets 2 valid and effective criteria. Valid criteria based on the assessment of media experts 94% (very feasible), and 80% material experts (feasible). Effective criteria are seen from the response of students and the quality of the items. The results of the students' responses were 82% (very interesting). While the quality of the items, the validity test contained 1 invalid question. Reliability test, there is 1 unreliable question. The difficulty level test has 7 moderate questions, 3 easy questions, and there are no difficult questions. The distinguishing power test contained 2 very good questions, 6 good questions, 2 enough questions, and not in the bad category. There were 11 distractors at the first level and 6 at the second level who were selected from all students. (2) The percentage of mathematical connections is very high 39.3%, high percentage 46.4%, moderate percentage 3.6%, low percentage 3.6%, and very low percentage 7.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain e-LKPD using a valid, practical, and effective live worksheet on derived material. This type of development research aims to produce a product in the form of e-LKPD. The development of live worksheet-based e-LKPD is carried out through ADDIE design development steps consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The test subjects in this study were Class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Kendari in 2021. The data collection instruments in this study consisted of a validation sheet used to determine the validity of the e-LKPD, a response questionnaire on the use of e-LKPD was used to obtain information on the practicality of e-LKPD, and learning outcomes tests to determine the effectiveness of e-LKPD. The results showed that (1) the validation results with an average score of 4.04 which means that the live worksheet-based e-LKPD is in very valid criteria and is feasible to use (2) The results of the analysis of student responses to the use of e-LKPD show that the average The student's class response is 80.3 which means the class response is positive and is included in the practical category. (3) There is a difference between the pre-test and post-test values, which means that there is an effect of using e-LKPD on learning outcomes. Thus the live worksheet-based e-LKPD is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Problems that become the study of this research is Exit Survey Analysis In Ensuring Quality Improvement of Academic Quality. This study aims to analyze the exit survey developed at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as part of the monitoring and evaluation efforts obtained from graduation students. Monitoring and evaluation conducted in this survey exit, thesis supervision, and academic advisor. Analysis was done by considering four aspects of content, administration, analysis, and integration strategy. This research was conducted at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The research was conducted from March to August 2016 at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah with respondents of the graduates from various faculties and study programs. The result of this research was: 1) Based on the content it can be seen that items in service survey, thesis supervision and academic advisor have medium reliability. This provides an opportunity for institutions to review the items that have not been done thoroughly and comprehensively, 2) Based on this online administration has several advantages such as the effectiveness of time, human resources and budget. Nevertheless, the potential weaknesses of the online system also need to be considered among them is the stability of the network and the system itself, 3) To provide a reading of data analysis results that are beneficial for service improvement, the exit survey data is analyzed using Rasch Model. It provides detailed analysis of items and respondents and mentors / advisers in detail, 4) integration strategies have great potential to have a significant impact on quality development efforts. Nevertheless, in this study the integration strategy cannot be done considering the need for further steps such as the publication of results to the leadership, the leadership commitment to the recommendations, as well as monitoring and evaluation of leadership commitments within the agreed timeframe.

The type of research used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study consisted of 25 students of class IXD SMP Negeri 1 Kolaka. The instruments in this study were a test of problem-solving skills and an observation sheet. The test questions for the ability to solve mathematical problems are in the form of a description test consisting of 5 questions. The observation sheet consists of teacher and student observation sheets which are arranged based on the application of STAD type cooperative learning. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) the average mathematical problem solving ability of students taught by the STAD type cooperative learning model consisting of 25 students showed a mean value of 70, variance 82.82, and standard deviation 9.10. The average indicates that the problem-solving ability is in the good category. (2) The average percentage of teacher activity is 79.56% who are in the active category, while the average percentage of student activity is 76.67% who are in the active category. Thus, it can be concluded that STAD learning activities can facilitate the achievement of students' problem solving abilities

Abstract

Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning is well prepared with the right procedures, it will be better than conventional methods such as lectures that tend to be monotonous. This encourages researchers to conduct research with the title "The Effectiveness of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model on Mathematics Learning Outcomes on the Material of Rationalizing Denominators of Root Forms". This study aims to analyze the effect of mathematics learning outcomes of class X IPA 1 MAN 1 Tasikmalaya City on the material of rationalizing the denominator of the root form presented with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. The type of research used is quantitative with action research. Data collection techniques are done by observation and giving instruments in the form of pre-test and pot-test questions and minute papers. The sample was taken with purposive sampling technique so that 15 students were obtained as research subjects. Before conducting hypothesis testing, data requirements were first tested including: normality testing using SPSS 25 with the Shapiro Wilk Test and homogeneity testing using SPSS 25 with the Shapiro Wilk Test. Hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes in the material rationalize the denominator of the root form by using the Teams Games Tourbament (TGT) learning model there is a difference between the pre-test and post-test results.
