Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Hipotesis yang dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi-exsperimental research). Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest posttest design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 37 Banda Aceh tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Kelas V dijadikan sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang dikenai model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Pada awal pembelajaran diberi pretest dan akhir pembelajaran diberi posttes dengan menggunakan instrumen yang sama. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan tes dan angket, teknik pengolahan data menggunakan statistik uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas data diperoleh bahwa data keduanya normal dan homogen. Dari hasil perhitungan untuk keterampilan proses sains diperolehthitung = 29,1274 sedangkan nilai ttabel= 1,6827 dan hasil perhitungan untuk motivasi belajar siswa diperolehthitung = 7,427 sedangkan nilai ttabel= 1,6827. Oleh karena thitung ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan terima Ha. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya.

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum has not been fully implemented in Private High School Angkasa Medan , because teachers do not fully understand the learning model that must be used. This has an impact on the results of student chemistry learning that not all students are able to achieve the set minimum completeness score target of 75. This study is about the application of learning models and the ability to think logically in redox learning in class X Private High School Angkasa Medan. The population consisted of 6 class X students and the sample was taken purposively by setting 2 classes for the research sample. Both classes are taught with two models, with a combination of factorial 2 X 2. There are two factors tested, namely factor A in the form of a learning model consisting of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Direct Instruction (DI) models, factor B: logical thinking ability high and low logical thinking ability. Data analysis techniques using 2-way ANOVA. Based on the hypothesis test at a significant level of α = 0.05, it shows that there is an influence of the learning model and students' logical thinking ability on the learning outcomes of topic redox chemistry, and there is an interaction between the learning model and the ability to think logically towards the redox learning outcomes. The results of the BNT advanced test indicate that the Problem Based Learning Model is better than the Direct Instruction model on topic redox chemistry learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan KPS peserta didik dengan penerapan LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Desain penelitian yang digunakan berbentuk pretest posttest, control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA 3 dan XI IPA 4 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari lembar penilaian KPS peserta didik dan soal tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji gain dan uji t, diperoleh hasil uji t dengan nilai thitung≥ttabel yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar pada kedua kelas. KPS peserta didik yang diperoleh sebesar 86% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hubungan antara KPS dan hasil belajar peserta didik memperoleh nilai rhitung sebesar 0,849 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan KPS peserta didik pada materi hidrolisis garam dan terdapat hubungan antara KPS dengan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Practical activity is a series of learning processes related to the assessment of students in the psychomotor domain. A large number of students in a classroom challenged many teachers in conducting skills assessments for students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the psychomotor evaluation using peer assessment in the practicum activities. The Method in this research is descriptive quantitative. This research was conducted by adjusting the results of psychomotor evaluation in the practical activities between direct observation and peer assessment. The research was conducted in natural science practicum activities, specifically on plant reproduction material. The study involved 60 college students of the Department of Primary School of Teacher Training Education as the research sample. The effectiveness of psychomotor evaluation using peer assessment techniques can be seen from the suitability of the results of psychomotor evaluation using peer assessment techniques and the results of direct observation. Based on the results of the research, there is a suitable average score of the psychomotor evaluation which is conducted by the peer assessment technique with the average score of the direct observations made by the researcher which is 91.4 and 90.4. The level of suitability of the two average values reached 98.90%. This shows that the implementation of psychomotor evaluation using peer assessment is effective in the practicum activities

Rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep fisika diakibatkan oleh kebiasaan siswa menghafal rumus-rumus, dan kurang maksimalnya dilakukan kegiatan praktikum yang merupakan penunjang pembelajaran fisika sehingga pemahaman konsep siswa masih jauh dari harapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode pre-eksperimen dengan The Randomized Pre-test Post-test, Control Group Design yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Pasir Aceh Utara tahun akademik 2013/2014, yang terdiri dari 30 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan 2 (dua) instrumen; 1) Tes untuk melihat peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi fluida statis; dan 2) Angket motivasi untuk mengetahui sejauh mana motivasi belajar siswa setelah belajar dengan CTL berbasis Inkuiri. Uji normalitas dilakukan untuk melihat kenormalan data dan menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal.Pembelajaran dengan CTL berbasis Inkuiri dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar siswapada materi fluida statis, tingginya perolehan skor N-Gain kategori tinggi mencapai 80% untuk indikator interpretasi, 70% untuk indikator translasi dan ekstrapolasi. Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa mencapai 46,7%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran CTL berbasis Inkuiri terhadap motivasi belajar siswa

Teachers often use projector media in classroom learning. Rarely do they want to develop and vary learning media with the aim of making the learning process more interesting. Finally, the lack of student interest in reading textbooks results in low student learning outcomes, which are not the focus of teacher attention. This study was aimed to develop comic in the material on reaction rates. The method used was R D with ADDIE, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis stage was carried out by analyzing the needs in the form of student characteristics and identifying learning media. The media design stage included plot design, character design, and scenario creation. The design results were then developed at the development stage, then the comic was given to two validators to test their feasibility. The implementation phase was carried out at the XI IPA class XI IPA Senior High School LAB IKIP Al Washliyah Medan. Furthermore, student learning outcomes were measured at the evaluation stage using tests. The results of this study found that comic could be developed by meeting the eligibility criteria of 93.29 percent with very good criteria. Students were very enthusiastic about chemistry comic. Student learning outcomes obtained an average of 81.07, which means that the minimum completeness criteria value was 75. This study concludes that this chemistry comic learning media was very suitable for use in chemistry learning, especially in the material reaction rate and student learning outcomes were achieved good criteria.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pada konsep dan jenis-jenis reaksi dalam larutan asam basa yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 langkah, yaitu: analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Sampel dipilih secara stratified-cluster random sampling dan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar penilaian kualitas modul yang di isi oleh validator ahli serta lembar angket respon guru dan peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase. Persentase rata-rata lembar angket penilaian kualitas modul yang diperoleh dari 6 validator yaitu sebesar 93,00% sedangkan respon guru dan peserta didik sebesar 84,65; 83,81%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul berbantuan media interaktif pada konsep dan reaksi-reaksi dalam asam basa yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia dan diharapkan ada penelitian lanjutan untuk materi lain dalam ruang lingkup yang lebih luas.Kata Kunci: Modul, Media Interaktif, Asam Basa, Model ADDIE

In order to teach future generations, preservice science teachers must possess critical thinking skills. However, relatively few studies have examined these skills at the tertiary level, particularly in elementary school science teacher education departments. This study sought to determine the effect of collaborative group investigation (CGI) learning and self-efficacy on the critical thinking skills of students. With a non-equivalent control group design and a 2 x 2 ANOVA inferential statistical test, a quasi-experimental design was implemented. The subjects of this study were forty science teacher candidates who took the Environmental course at a university in Indonesia. A self-efficacy questionnaire and a test of critical thinking skills constituted the research instruments. The results indicated that the collaborative group investigation group received an average score of 62.2, whereas the direct learning group received an average score of 48.8, with an Fcalculated of 87.626 and a significance value of 0.000. The data analysis revealed substantial differences between the collaborative group inquiry group and the direct learning group in terms of critical thinking skills. The interplay between learning strategies and self-efficacy affects the critical thinking skills of pupils because collaborative learning practices can engage students actively through teamwork, idea exchange, decision making, and shared responsibilities

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi listrik statis setelah siswa belajar melalui penerapan strategi mastery learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain pre-test-post-test control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Krueng Barona Jaya. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara random sampling dengan mengambil 2 kelas secara acak yaitu kelas XII-IA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XII-IA4 sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan masing-masing jumlah sampel adalah 20 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa adalah tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal dengan 4 options yang telah dinyatakan valid dengan uji persyaratan instrumen. Instrumen penilaian minat belajar siswa menggunakan lembar angket untuk melihat minat belajar siswa pada proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil isian angket terhadap minat belajar diperoleh siswa mempunyai minat belajar yang tinggi mendapatkan hasil belajar yang tinggi dengan diterapkan strategi mastery learning. Dari hasil uji kolmogorov-smirnov dengan menggunakan SPSS 17 diperoleh bahwa kedua kelas terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil uji t dua pihak diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,404 sehingga thitung ttabel maka disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan awal siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Setelah diberikan perlakuan berbeda pada masing-masing kelas diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 82,50 dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol adalah 76,67. Pada hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung ttabel yaitu 3,126 2,018 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar akibat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran mastery learning pada materi listrik statis di kelas XII IPA SMA N 1 Krueng Barona Jaya Aceh Besar.

The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted various fields, especially education, namely the implementation of distance learning. One of the activities carried out by teachers is the implementation of independent practicum by students so that teaching and learning activities continue to run even though the students are at home. This study aims to analyze the motion of jumping cats using a tracker application that can be used as a practicum activity independently in science subjects of motion material in grade VII by using cats that are in the environment of learners as the subject of the study. This research method uses a hands-on experimental approach by taking videos of jumping cats' motion and processing them with a tracker app. The results of data processing with the help of tracker application are processed by using Microsoft Excel program so that obtained KD, KB, TB, K and E relationship graphs cat jump has a constant or stable speed indicated by linearity graphs. In addition, data processing using a tracker application is more accurate and consistent compared to the acceleration value by manually calculating so that it can be concluded the use of application-assisted jumping cat video analysis is worth using in science learning.
