Abstract

MSMEs are businesses owned by the community, both individuals and entities, that meet the criteria for being a business. Indonesia's success in increasing the scale of the national economy cannot be separated from the role of MSME behavior. MSMEs in Nganjuk Regency have their own attraction which is supported by natural potential, namely the large number of shallot commodities. As time goes by, many people in Nganjuk Regency make a living from processing shallots, so there are many similar products from MSMEs. “Bawang Kita” MSMEs face several obstacles, namely seasonal market demand which is always changing and threats from similar MSMEs which create a competitive market situation both in the national and international markets. Along with fluctuating sales and increasingly fierce competition, “Bawang Kita” MSMEs need to pay attention to marketing mix strategies that are in line with the desires of domestic and foreign consumers. This can also help companies achieve superiority over the competition. This research discusses the effectiveness of implementing international marketing mix strategies in “Bawang Kita” MSMEs which is supported by SWOT analysis. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews with MSME Owner, Resellers, and Consumers. Results of this research that the implementation of the international marketing mix strategy in “Bawang Kita” MSMEs is effective in terms of every aspect of the marketing mix which is supported by data on sales, production and distribution as well as the ability to purchase new machines. However, in the SWOT analysis carried out by researchers, there are still weaknesses in the implementation of the marketing mix carried out by MSME “Bawang Kita”. Thus, the implementation of the marketing mix strategy in “Bawang Kita” MSMEs must be further improved

Abstract

This study explores the impact and implementation of data and artificial intelligence (AI) in educational management through a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative analyses. The quantitative phase involved surveying teachers, administrators, and students from the Yappi Makassar School of Administrative Sciences to gauge the use and effectiveness of data and AI in educational management. The qualitative phase included in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with selected stakeholders to understand their experiences, perceptions, and challenges with integrating data and AI into educational management practices. Results indicate a general positivity towards the integration of data and AI, with 70% of educators and administrators reporting improved efficiency in curriculum development and administrative tasks. However, only 50% of students noted a significant enhancement in their learning experience. Key themes emerged from qualitative analysis, highlighting the acceptance and adaptation of technology, the barriers to full integration, such as infrastructure and resistance to change, and the critical balance between technology use and human interaction in learning. The study concludes that while data and AI hold substantial promise for revolutionizing educational management, significant challenges remain. Addressing these challenges requires investments in technology infrastructure, comprehensive training programs for staff, and pedagogical strategies that effectively integrate technology with human-centered teaching methods. The research underlines the need for further investigation into overcoming these barriers to maximize the benefits of data and AI in education.

Abstract

The research conducted by the author is a replication study of research conducted by Purba in 1998 with the same title, namely the influence of management accounting systems, decentralization, budgets and environmental uncertainty on manager performance, but with different objects. The research carried out by Purba took as an object an insurance company in the Surabaya municipal area, while the research that the author put forward in this thesis took as an object the pharmaceutical industry in Surabaya. The author wants to know how much difference there is when using different research objects. Several managers are needed by a relatively large organization or company to carry out some of the tasks of top managers. This is necessary because top managers cannot possibly carry out management and supervision of all company activities as a whole. Therefore, there will be a delegation of authority from top managers to middle level managers or lower level managers.

Exports are one of the international trade activities that provide benefits to Indonesia, including capital transactions, employment, and foreign exchange reserves. There are 2 types of exports, namely oil and gas and non-oil and gas exports. The value of non-oil and gas exports tends to be higher than oil and gas exports. So this research focuses on three non-oil and gas sectors, which consist of mining, agriculture, and processing industry (processed products). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of mining, agriculture, and processed product exports on Indonesia's sales in international trade in the 2019-2022 timeframe. This research uses a quantitative approach, and a multiple linear regression analysis model with the IBM SPSS 22 application. The research data comes from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the Ministry of Trade, and related agencies. The variables used include 3 independent variables and 1 dependent variable. The independent variables are mining exports (X1) with the commodities used are coal, copper, lignite, iron and steel, agricultural exports (X2), and exports of processed products (X3), and Indonesia's sales as the dependent variable (Y).
