Abstract

This study aims to to determine the influence of discovery learning model with LKS based on the discovery of learning outcomes and skills of science process, and to describe students' interest in class VIII at SMPN 1 Kota Bengkulu. This type of research includes Quasi Experiment.The sample was obtained using purposive sampling technique that is class VIII.5 as experiment class and class VIII.4 as control class.. Based on the result of data analysis using T-test of two independent samples indicate that there is significant influence of discovery learning model with LKS based on the discovery of the students' learning result because tcount> ttable (8,16> 2,00), science process skill students tcount> ttable (5,9> 2,0), and students' average learning interest of 35.8 in interest categories and student learning interest for very high, high, low and very low categories of 6.06%, 69, 67%, 18.18%, and 6.06%. So it is concluded that there is an influence of using discovery learning model with LKS based on discovery of learning outcomes, science process skills, and student learning interest.

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out the influence of learning interest in discovery learning model through animated-assisted media towards physics learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu, founding the influence between learning motivation in discovery learning with assisted-animated media on physics learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu, calculating the influence of learning interest of physics learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu, and calculating the number of  learning motivation influence of physics learning in SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu. This research is one group pretest-posttest design with respondents who are the students of class X MIPA 1 in SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu. The sample of this study was taken by using sampling purpusive technique which was obtained by 32 students of class X MIPA 1. Data retrieval using t-Test,the results obtained an average score interest in learning on learning outcomes is 3,02 tcal> t table 1,697 for a significant level of 95%.The results show that there is a significant influence of learning interest on the results of physics learning in SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu. Further, it is obtained the number of correlation coefficient which is 0.39. While the amount  influence of interest in learning on physics learning results is obtained from the amount determinant which is 15%. For the influence of motivation on the result of physics learning obtained t-test result of mean score of motivation to result of learning is tcal 2,65> ttabel 1,697 for significant level 95%. The results showed that there is a significant influence of motivation on physics learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu. Furthermore, it is got that the amount of correlation coefficient which is  0.39. While the influence numbers of interest in learning on physics learning results was obtained from a large determinant of 13.24%.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of cooperative learning model TGT using physics ladder snake media to enthusiasm, motivation and student learning outcomes. The method used is a quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design  conducted in class VIII SMPN 10 Cities 2016/2017 academic year. The sampling technique usedmethod.  perposive sampling  Collecting data using a questionnaire to students' interest and motivation to the application of the model and test for learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of data obtained an average  N-sciencegain process skillsof 0.49 to 0.35 for the experimental class and control class. The average  N-gain interest in learning of 0.61 to 0.36 for the experimental class and control class. The average  N-gain motivation to learn of 0.67 to 0.48 for the experimental class and control class. The average  N-gain learning outcomes of 0.74 to 0.62 for the experimental class and control class. As for the two independent samples t-test is thitung greater than ttabel  that of 4.14> 2.01 for the interest in learning, 3.95> 2.01 for students' motivation and 3.28> 2.01 for student learning outcomes at significant level ( ? = 0.05). So we can conclude: there is the effect of the application of cooperative learning model TGT using physics ladder snake media to enthusiasm, motivation and learning outcomes of students of SMPN 10 Bengkulu City.Keywords: Cooperative Team Games Tournament (TGT), snake ladder media, learning interest, learning motivation.

Abstract

This study is a classroom action research conducted in four cycles aims to describe the increase of student learning activities, student learning motivation and student learning outcomes on business and energy concepts. Subjects in this study were students of class X IPA 1 which amounted to 29 people consisting of 14 male students and 15 female students. Results of student activity on cycle I with average score of 20 in active enough category, cycle II of 23 in active enough category, cycle III of 28 in active category, and IV cycle of 29,5 in active category. The result of questionnaire of students' learning motivation in cycle I with average score of 44,48 in medium category, cycle II equal to 51,74 in medium category, cycle III equal to 57,31 in high category, IV cycle equal to 63,86 in high category. Students' learning outcomes of knowledge aspects in the first cycle obtained 70,86% absorption and learning completeness of 37,93% (not completed), cycle II obtained 76,72% absorption and learning completeness of 79,31% (thorough), cycle III absorption of 82,24% And learning completeness 89,66% (complete) and cycle IV absorption of 93,97% and complete learning 100% (thorough). Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of scientific approach through Problem Solving model can improve student learning activities, student learning motivation and student learning outcomes.Keywords: Scientific Approach, Problem Solving Model, Student Learning Activity, Student Learning Motivation and Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Application of problem-based learning model using scientific approach to improve the activity and learning outcomes of students of class VIII.2 on light material at SMPN 03 Bengkulu. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in student activity and learning outcomes in four cycles in light matter. The subjects of this study are all students of class VIII.2 with the number of 40 people. The instruments used are activity observation sheets, attitude observation sheet, skill observation sheet, and knowledge test sheet. The results of this study indicate that student learning activity in cycle I is categorized well with the average score of 35, increased on the second cycle of 37.5, again increased in the third cycle of 39, and on IV cycle of 41. Student learning outcomes on aspects Attitude increases in each cycle. In cycle I average score obtained 12,625 good category, cycle II 13,01 good category, cycle III 13,15, and cycle IV 14,06 category very good. The learning outcomes in the skills aspect also increase in each cycle and are categorized well. Average score on cycle I is 81,03, at cycle II 82,60, 84,58, and 91,25. The learning outcomes on the average value of knowledge in the first cycle is 76 and the completeness of classical learning is 75% (unfinished), the average value in cycle II is 75.375 and the completeness of classical learning is 80% (unfinished), the average value in cycle III is 77.75 And classical learning completeness 85% (complete), and the average value in the cycle IV of 79.125 and 90% complete (90%) classical learning completeness. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning model using scientific approach can improve student activity and learning outcomes. Keywords: problem-based learning model, scientific approach, student learning activity

Abstract

The aims of research are (1) to find the effect of learning with discovery learning model through a scientific approach to students’ learning outcomes, (2) to find the effect of learning to students’ learning interest, and (3) to describe the improvement of students' learning outcomes.This type of research is quasi experiment. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique to determine class XI IPA 2 as experimental class and class XI IPA 1 as control class. The data were analysed by using t-test with two independent samples. The results show that there is significant influence of the use of Discovery Learning model through scientific approach to learning outcomes (tcount 2.64> ttable 1.68) and student learning interest (tcount 3.95 > ttable 1.68). The improvement of students' learning outcome in experimental class is higher than the improvement of the control class learning result (0.68 > 0.64). It is concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of Discovery Learning model through scientific approach to student learning outcomes and to students’ learning interest. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Learning Interests, Discovery Learning Model, Scientific Approach.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in four cycles that aims to improve the ability of creative thinking, activities, and students’ learning outcomes on work and energy concepts. The subjectwas33 students of grade X. Data obtained from the test and observation sheets were analysed in the descriptive method. CAR was conducted in four stages, that, planning, action, observation, and reflection. Instruments used in the research were the creative thinking testand the achievementtest, observation sheet of teacher and activities and student. The results showed that the result of the creative thinking test obtained the average score of 64.38  in cycle I, increased to 71,36 in cycle II, increased to 74,45 in cycle III, and increased to 76.34 in cycle IV. Student learning activity on cycle I was with average score 22, increased to 31 in cycle II, increased to 36 in cycle III, and increase to 37 in cycle IV. Students' learning outcomes in the first cycle becaming of 74.19%, increased in cycle II of 83.87%, increased in cycle III of 90.32%, and increased in the cycle IV of 100% (thorough). Based on the results of research that the implementation of guided inquiry on work and energy concepts can improve the creative thinking, students’ activities, and learning outcomes. Keywords: guided inquiry, creative thinking skill, learning activities, learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of using discovery learning model with scientific approach to science process skill and learning outcomes. The instrument used in this research is the test. The tests in this study include pretest and posttest. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique obtained by class XI IPA.2 as experimental class and class XI IPA.1 as control class. The result of science process skills can be seen on the difference in scores before being treated with treatment after treatment. The average pretest score for each meeting was 35.1 and the average posttest score for each meeting was 74.0 with the difference in posttest and pretest mean scores was 38.8. Based on the results of data using the t-test two independent samples indicate there is significant influence of the use of discovery learning model with scientific approach to student learning outcomes tcount 3.764 > ttable 2,004. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of discovery learning model with a scientific approach to science process skills and student learning outcomes. Keywords: discovery learning model, scientific approach, Science Process Skills and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji keterbacaan guna mendeskripsikan persepsi peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran komik digital. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket persepsi peserta didik dengan 19 butir pertanyaan yang diberikan kepada 30 responden yang merupakan peserta didik di 3 sekolah yaitu SMA Negeri 2,4, dan 9 Kota Bengkulu. Dalam penelitian ini analisis data menggunakan deskripsi kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran komik digital berbasis pendekatan kontekstual sangat baik berdasarkan persepsi peserta didik. Hal ini didasarkan pada data yang diperoleh bahwa dari seluruh pernyataan mengenai keterbacaan tehadap media pembelajaran komik digital, hampir semuanya dijawab dengan persentase terbesar berada pada pilihan jawaban sangat setuju dan setuju. Ini berarti bahwa peserta didik setuju dengan poin-poin yang ditawarkan pada setiap pernyataan yang mereka isi pada lembar persepsi. Dari data yang diperoleh juga didapatkan nilai Va sebesar 4.28 yang masuk ke kategori valid. Sedangkan nilai reliabilitas diperoleh sebesar 0.85, dan nilai tersebut lebih besar dari r tabel untuk df = 28 yaitu sebesar 0.3610, karena rhitung>rtabel maka masuk ke kategori reliabel.Kata kunci : Persepsi Peserta Didik, Keterbacaan, Media Pembelajaran, Komik Digital, Pendekatan Kontekstual, Motivasi Belajar, Alat-alat Optik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis STEM berbantu GeoGebra pada materi vektor yang layak. 2) Mendeskripsikan respon guru terhadap LKPD yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis STEM berbantu GeoGebra pada materi vektor. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model 4D dengan langkah-langkah Define, Design, Develop dan Dissemination. Pada tahap dissemination dibatasi sampai pada tahap uji respon oleh guru dikarenakan wabah covid-19. Validasi dilakukan oleh 4 judgement ahli untuk menilai produk yang dikembangkan dari aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, kegrafisan dan media. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi aspek kelayakan isi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 87% dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek kebahasaan dengan persentase 77% dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek penyajian persentase sebesar 79% dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek kegrafisan dengan persentase 84% dalam kategori sangat baik dan aspek media dengan persentase 81% dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis STEM berbantu GeoGebra pada materi vektor yang dihasilkan sudah layak  dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 82% berada pada kategori sangat baik. Adapun respon guru terhadap LKPD ini berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan nilai sebesar 88 %. Kata kunci : Penelitian dan Pengembangan, LKPD, STEM, GeoGebra, Vektor
