Abstract

Vocational education is a dynamic field that constantly adapts to advancements in science and technology. Cooperative learning strategies are an effective way to strengthen relationships and communication among students during the learning process. Factors such as differences in students' abilities, the role of the teacher, and the learning environment can influence the success of implementing cooperative strategies. However, barriers to implementing cooperative learning strategies can disrupt the learning process. Examples of barriers include students paying little attention during presentations, students being less active in group learning, and groups discussing topics outside the main subject. Solutions to overcome these barriers include allocating time for group discussions before presentations, teachers pointing out inactive students to ask questions, and monitoring by teachers during group work. Vocational education requires suitable strategies to cultivate cooperation among students, and Cooperative Learning is considered one of the answers. Some teachers have found solutions to address barriers to implementing Cooperative Learning.

Abstract

The use of interactive learning media in Vocational High Schools (SMK) plays an important role in increasing student engagement and their understanding of the material. These media, such as videos, simulations, and educational games, allow direct interaction with the material. However, implementation at Development Vocational Schools requires a mature strategy to overcome the challenges of technology, resources and teacher training. With training, technology-integrated curriculum development, increased internet access, and external collaboration, the use of interactive learning media can be optimized. Collaboration between stakeholders is the key to success. Through active participation and open communication, interactive learning media can be an effective solution in improving the quality of education at Development Vocational Schools, preparing students for the digital world of work.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had an impact on the younger generation's digital ethical character. The scope of education in the digital era cannot be separated from the role of the family, community schools and government in order to create Indonesia's golden generation through digitally strengthening Pancasila values. This research aims to determine strategies for strengthening digital citizen ethics in the metaverse era. The research method used is qualitative with a special study approach within the family, school, community and government institutions. Data collection techniques use interviews and observation using data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions. The research results show that strategies for strengthening the ethics of digital citizens can be carried out through the family environment in the form of habituation and communication programs, the school environment through digital literacy and character habituation, the community environment through socialization and coordination, the government environment through the socialization of program policies at the relevant institutional level. The results of this research have implications for digital citizen ethics curriculum development program efforts in various educational units.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of large assignments on the level of learning motivation of building engineering education students class of 2022. This study uses a quantitative research design with explanation and with the Generalized Framework for Observational Research Methods (G-from) method . The population of this study were all Jakarta State University Building Engineering Education students who had taken the Steel Structure 1 course in 2023, and the research sample was 30 students who were randomly selected. The results showed that there was a positive effect of giving large assignments on the level of student learning motivation. The effect is moderated by several factors, namely the type of large assignment, the difficulty of large assignments, the availability of resources, and lecturer support.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the need to build teacher work motivation in order to encourage the achievement of good performance quality in madrasahs. One of the factors that can build teacher work motivation is the application of the madrasah principal's communication pattern. This problem is also a major concern for the Principal of MTsN 3 Tabalong to be able to apply an effective communication pattern in building teacher work motivation in MTsN 3 Tabalong. In this case, the five laws of effective communication, namely respect, empathy, audible, clarity, and humble, are the standard measurements in determining the development of teacher work motivation in MTsN 3 Tabalong. The purpose of this study was to find out about the communication pattern of the madrasah principal in building teacher work motivation in MTsN 3 Tabalong. The type and approach used in this study is a descriptive research type and uses a qualitative approach. The object of this study is the communication pattern of the Madrasah Principal at MTsN 3 Tabalong in building teacher work motivation and the subjects of the study are the madrasah principal and teachers of MTsN 3 Tabalong. Furthermore, data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data analysis was carried out in three stages including data reduction, data display and verification. The results of the study obtained were that the communication pattern of the Principal of MTsN 3 Tabalong had been carried out by implementing the five laws of effective communication, namely respect, empathy, audible, clarity, and humble. So that it can provide an impact in the form of a pleasant work environment, a sense of comfort, self-confidence, openness, the growth of a high sense of sympathy and then can build teacher work motivation. Thus, the communication pattern of the Principal of MTsN 3 Tabalong can be said to be running well and effectively. Furthermore, the building of teacher work motivation can also be seen from the evidence of the teacher attendance list which shows the active and disciplined presence of teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the analysis of student delinquency and its implications for guidance and counseling services at STIT Syekh Muhammad Nafis Tabalong. The research method used by the author is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, namely by collecting data as it is from a symptom of a phenomenon that existed when the research was carried out. The data and data sources in this research are Guidance and Counseling Lecturers and students through survey techniques. The research instruments used in this research are documentation, interviews and observation. Interviews were conducted with Guidance and Counseling Lecturers and observations were made by observing the state of the university environment and the existence of the university. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, grouping data, analyzing data and interpreting data that will be concluded as research results. The conclusion of this research is that the analysis of student delinquency and its implications for guidance and counseling services at STIT Syekh Muhammad Nafis Tabalong is in the quite good category.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the fact that it was felt that mind mapping in Fiqh subjects had not been implemented well. Students still experience difficulties in implementing it, which causes students to be less serious about learning so they are careless in making mindmaps, such as information that is too long which is not needed in the mindmap, and also some branches that do not explain the main branches or relationships. between the outer branches and the main branches is less clear. The type of research carried out was field research with a descriptive and quantitative approach. Qualitative research is research that intends to understand phenomena of what is experienced by research subjects, such as behavior, perception, motivation, action, and so on. With this approach, it is hoped that the implementation of the Mindmap Strategy in the Fiqh subject class VIII MTsN 4 Pasaman can be described more thoroughly. The source of data for this research is the class VIII Fiqh teacher with the supporting informants being class VIII.2 students at MTsN 4 Pasaman. The data collection technique used was observation, namely direct observation of the implementation of learning using a mindmap strategy, as well as interviews aimed at teachers and students. The results of this research show that the mind map strategy was carried out quite well. However, in the process of making mindmap concepts for students, there are still several things that are not as they should be because teachers do not pay attention and guide them in the process of making mindmap concepts by students so many of them make mindmaps, carelessly and are not serious enough. entering non-main information into the mind map, and/or lack of student creativity in creating mindmaps to make them more interesting.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the interactive lecture method in improving English language acquisition among primary school students in Asahan Regency, North Sumatra. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the difference in learning outcomes between students taught using the interactive lecture method and students taught using conventional methods. The research method used was an experiment with a pre-test and post-test design, involving 20 fifth grade students who were divided into two groups: control and treatment. The results showed that the treatment group showed a significant increase in scores compared to the control group. The conclusion of the study underlines that the interactive lecture method is more effective in improving students' English proficiency. This study highlights the importance of using the interactive lecture method in English language teaching to improve students' learning outcomes, and suggests further research with larger samples and different treatment durations.

Abstract

This research was motivated by teachers not yet properly understanding how to apply the independent curriculum in learning arts and culture (fine arts). This research aims, firstly, to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum in class VIII arts and culture subjects at SMP Negeri 30 Padang, secondly to describe the obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum in class VIII arts and culture (fine arts) subjects at SMP Negeri 30 Padang, thirdly to describe the efforts made in implementing the independent curriculum in class VIII arts and culture subjects at SMP Negeri 30 Padang. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive research method. In this research, the informants requested in this research were the deputy principal in the field of curriculum, arts and culture teachers and class VIII students. The data analysis technique in this research uses the Miles and Huberman model of qualitative data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification and conclusions. The technique for testing the validity of the data used is the source triangulation technique. The results of this research show that in implementing the independent curriculum it is related to arts and culture learning (fine arts), character surveys and environmental surveys in its application in the implementation process. Meanwhile, other independent learning policy programs such as Modules have been implemented. Teachers in implementing modules that are in accordance with the independent curriculum can create their own without being separated from the Merdeka curriculum platform. From the independent learning platform provided by the government and the implementation of the independent curriculum policy, the school follows the system in the independent curriculum and before implementing it the school holds a meeting. However, due to obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum related to learning arts and culture (fine arts), character surveys and environmental surveys have not yet achieved Learning Achievements (CP). In carrying out the implementation of modules in learning activities by arts and culture teachers, it is felt that there is a lack of variety in the learning media used, the difficulty of creating modules in determining learning media and the difficulty of accessing the internet and obstacles in implementing the independent learning policy program, teachers are reluctant to open independent learning platforms, the difficulty in accessing the internet and student learning outcomes have not been achieved. Meanwhile, in efforts to implement an independent curriculum in arts and culture (fine arts) subjects, arts and culture teachers use Jigsaw learning strategies and use learning media, namely Audio-Visual learning media, and the efforts made to implement an independent curriculum are related to the independent learning policy program. In its implementation, art and culture teachers and school officials still find obstacles in its implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the integration of technology in Christian religious education for inclusive children. Technology has great potential to enhance accessibility and the effectiveness of learning, especially for children with special needs. Through the literature review method, this research examines relevant literature to identify strategies, challenges, and best practices in the use of technology in the context of Christian religious education. The results of this study show that technology can be an effective tool in creating a more inclusive learning environment by adapting teaching materials and methods to meet the individual needs of children. Additionally, this study provides recommendations for educators and policymakers in designing more adaptive and technology-based educational programs to support Christian religious education for inclusive children.
