Abstract

The presence of digital media is an important part that needs attention. The speed of information and communication that currently dominates society certainly also influences social and cultural life. The advancement of digital media has expanded to Indonesia, especially in urban areas. The development of digital media which is characterized by the expansion of internet networks in various countries with different cultures makes it easy for the people of one country or one city to another to share information, in various countries and cities. Digital media is a place for teenagers to introduce a culture that has begun to fade. This study aims to find out how much awareness the teenagers in Medan City have about local culture and how teenagers use digital media. This study used a qualitative descriptive research type by collecting data from journals for the last 10 years, other literature research and conducting interviews with Medan city youth. The result of this research is that teenagers are starting to be aware of the presence of local culture and redeveloping it by creating content through digital media platforms with the aim of introducing Malay culture to all corners of the world.

Abstract

This type of research is normative legal research. In this research, library materials, legal research, judges' decisions and laws are the basis for which research is classified as secondary data. The nature of this research is descriptive analytical research that uses primary and secondary legal materials. , and tertiary. Criminal provisions against foreign fishermen who carry out fishing or illegal fishing in fisheries management areas, especially in the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone, which often occurs. The perpetrators of this crime are foreign fishermen. Law enforcement and criminal responsibility given to perpetrators of criminal acts in the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone are very weak, which only provides criminal sanctions for fines, which do not provide a deterrent effect on other foreign fishermen. And the actions of foreign fishermen can damage the marine ecosystem by using foreign fishermen using trawl fishing gear, which is prohibited by law. Law enforcement must use other efforts so that accountability and criminal provisions against foreign fishermen who catch fish in fisheries management areas, especially in the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone must make other efforts to reduce foreign actors or fishermen who enter the Indonesian fisheries management area, especially the Economic Zone Exclusively for Indonesia which does not have SIPI or SIUP. By increasing human resources, improving facilities and infrastructure in registering foreign ships entering the Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone. By increasing security operations in a strict, routine and organized manner.

Abstract

In 2011, a case involving PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, a private foreign company engaged in the banking and financial institution sector, occurred. Initially, the taxpayer (Director General of Taxation) issued a tax audit order (SP2) numbered Print-019/PJ.04/RIKSIS/2010 on July 16, 2010. The taxpayer (Directorate General of Taxation) issued a tax assessment letter for Article 26 Income Tax Article Number 00009/204/08/091/12 on February 7, 2012, for the tax period of September 2008, with an underpaid tax amounting to Rp 5,155,062,376,-. As a result, Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk filed legal objections and appeals, including cassation to the Supreme Court. The resolution of the income tax case involving the permanent establishment of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia based on Supreme Court Decision No. 919/B/PK/PJK/2015 can be pursued through legal avenues, including objections, appeals, tax court lawsuits, and, as a last resort, cassation to the Supreme Court if the appeal decision in the tax court is rejected. The synchronization of the Supreme Court Decision No. 919/B/PK/PJK/2015 in terms of the implementation of Law Number 36 of 2008 on Income Tax leads to the Supreme Court granting the request for a review by the applicant for the review, and the respondent for the review (the Directorate General of Taxation) is declared the losing party. The tax court decision No. Put 54951/PP/M.XVA/13/2014 dated September 8, 2014, is hereby canceled.

Abstract

The Langkat Regency Government has collaborated with PLN to meet electricity needs in remote villages, but there are several obstacles, so these efforts cannot be achieved evenly. Therefore, in efforts to improve the quality of life and economic growth of rural communities, energy has a big role. Where this research discusses the availability of electricity in rural areas, it is hoped that it can encourage increased productivity, improve educational facilities, worship, health, as well as foster new economic activities. In order to meet the energy needs of rural communities, local governments are trying to implement various energy infrastructure development activities by utilizing the potential of local energy sources. One potential energy that can be developed is solar power plants (PLTS) for electricity in rural areas. This service activity can essentially facilitate the procurement of PLTS equipment which will be placed in a Grand Mosque in Desan Selayang as a pilot.

Abstract

Violation of Islamic law and customary criminal law is still viewed as something that can cause disruption and disturb the consciousness of the community. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze legally how the regulation of adultery is based on Islamic law and customary law in Dolok District, Padang Lawas Utara Regency, to understand and analyze legally the application of customary criminal sanctions against perpetrators of adultery in Dolok District, Padang Lawas Utara Regency, and to examine the authority of customary leaders in resolving cases of adultery in Dolok District, Padang Lawas Utara Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research with data collection techniques, including interviews with customary leaders in Dolok District, Padang Lawas Utara Regency. The results of this study indicate that the regulation of customary sanctions for adultery in customary law is called "appeal dila," which is a type of punishment that requires the perpetrator to slaughter a goat/buffalo/cow by inviting the community to gather and have a communal meal as a basis for seeking forgiveness for the act of adultery. The application of customary sanctions against adulterers involves punishment imposed by the customary leaders, namely Raja Panusunan Bulung and Raja Pamusuk, after a customary meeting attended by Mr Namalim (Religious Figure), Datu (Health Doctor), Pangatak-Pangetong/Rokkaya (Traditional Healers), panyujukan burger (Betel Leaf Carrier), Halakna Dihuta (Village Community), and the prepared sanctions.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of Instagram on interest and purchasing decisions among Medan State Polytechnic students. This research took research subjects from Medan State Polytechnic students, especially Shopee e-commerce users. The type of research used is quantitative research with survey methods. The subjects in this research were 100 respondents using non-probability sampling techniques and purposive sampling techniques. The research method used was structural equation modeling (SEM), which was processed using the SmartPLS program. The results of this research show that: (1) Instagram has a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest on Shopee among Students of Politeknik Negeri Medan; (2) Instagram has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions on Shopee among Students of Politeknik Negeri Medan. (3) Interest buying has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions on Shopee among Students of Politeknik Negeri Medan; (4) Instagram has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions through the moderator variable buying interest on Shopee among Students of Politeknik Negeri Medan. The variable most dominantly influenced by Instagram is the purchase interest variable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the factors of comfort, tariffs and timeliness of purchasing decisions simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction on trains majoring in Medan Binjai. The data analysis technique used is the method with the help of the SPSS program. This study uses multiple linear regression. The sample of this study amounted to 100 respondents. Primary data collection using a questionnaire. The results showed that convenience, tariffs and timeliness partially had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for train tickets majoring in Medan-Binjai. In addition, convenience, tariffs and punctuality simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for train tickets majoring in Medan-Binjai.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of e-service quality and promotion on customer satisfaction both partially and simultaneously. Types of research is quantitative. The population in this research is PT PLN (Persero) Medan Region, Medan City, North Sumatra with population as many as 1031 customers. The types and sources of fata secondary. The sampling technique uses probability sampling technique. The formula in this research uses the Slovin Formula. The results showed that e-service quality partially had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction through PLN Mobile at PT PLN (Persero) Medan Region. Promotion has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction through PLN Mobile at PT PLN (Persero) Area Medan. E-service quality and promotion simutaneously have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction through PLN Mobile at PT PLN (Persero) Area Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the QRIS payment system on increasing MSME sales turnover. The type of research used in this study is quantitative. The population used in this study is MSMEs located in Deli Serdang Regency. The number of respondents consisted of 95 MSMEs with probability sampling and sampling techniques using accidental sampling. The results showed that the use of the QRIS payment system had a positive and significant effect on increasing MSME sales turnover partially. The results of the R Square value showed that the variable of using the QRIS payment system affected the increase in sales turnover by 5.8%, while the remaining 94.2% was influenced by other variables outside the research of this author.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Organizational Culture, Work Environment and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at the Head Office of PT Perkebunan Nusatara IV Medan. This type of research is quantitative research. The population used in this research was 290 employees of the head office of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. The number of respondents consisted of 168 people, with sample determination using the Slovin formula. The results of this research show that Organizational Culture, Work Environment and Work Motivation have a significant and influential effect on the performance of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan Head Office employees, both partially and simultaneously. The results of the R square research show that the variables Organizational Culture, Work Environment and Work Motivation influence employee motivation by 2.
