Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini berjudul “ Kesalahan Bahasa Indonesia Pada Tajuk Rencana Surat Kabar Kota Medan (Fenomena Bahasa di Ranah Media Cetak)”. Model penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu metode yang memaparkan data secara alami dan apa adanya. Hasil penelitian ditemukan kesalahan bahasa Indonesia pada tajuk rencana harian Waspada berjumlah 171 kalimat dan harian SIB berjumlah 189 kalimat. Kesalahan bahasa Indonesia mencakup penulisan huruf kapital, huruf miring, imbuhan, penulisan gabungan kata, partikel pun, singkatan dan akronim, angka dan bilangan, tanda hubung, tanda koma, tanda apostrof, unsur serapan, dan kosa kata baku. Bentuk kesalahan yang paling dominan ditemukan pada tajuk rencana harian Waspada adalah bentuk penulisan singkatan dan akronim yaitu berjumlah 60 (35%) dari keseluruhan jumlah 171 kalimat. Sedangkan bentuk kesalahan yang paling dominan ditemukan pada tajuk rencana harian SIB adalah penulisan tanda baca koma ( , ) yaitu berjumlah 76 (40%) dari keseluruhan jumlah 189 kalimat. Kata Kunci : kesalahan EBI, tajuk rencana.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Analysis of the Use of Hate Speech on Social Media in the Case of Presidential Election in 2019". The object of this study focused on words, phrases, and speech phrases of hate speech contained on social media Instagram and Facebook accounts in January to April 2019. The purpose of this study was to find out the use of hate speech uttered by netizens on presidential candidate pairs on Instagram and Facebook accounts, which was analyzed based on the Chief of Police's circular letter about seven speeches of hate, and identified the utterances of hatred that were more dominantly used in the social media. The research model used is qualitative research. The results of this study were derived from the speech on Instagram and Facebook social media in the 2019 presidential election. On the Instagram media, 200 sentences were analyzed in the form of hate speech, namely insulting 34 sentences or 17.5%. Denigration of 43 sentences or 21.5%. Defamation 1 sentence or 0.5%. 33. Unpleasant sentences or 16.5%. Provoke 55 sentences or 27%. Instigation numbered 21 sentences or 10.5% and spread hoaxes (Hoax) 13 sentences or 6.5%. The most dominant form of hate speech on Instagram social media is provoking. In the Facebook media, there are 200 sentences found in the form of hate speech, namely insulting 8 sentences or 4%. Denigration is 40 sentences or 20%. Defamation is 9 sentences or 4.5%. An unpleasant act of 53 sentences or 28.7%. Provoke 29 sentences or 14.5%. Instigating 61 sentences or 30.5%. and spreading hoaxes (Hoax) not found on Facebook's social media. The most dominant form of hate speech found on Facebook accounts is inciting.

Abstract

Pragmatics is the study of the aspects of meaning in which the speaker expressed or communicated and a listener interpreted it. In other words, pragmatics covered the study of language sense which is communicated by the language user. Meanings or language senses that is expressed by the language users implies beyond the meanings that are expressed in the writings. This paper focused on the advertising discourses that exposed in Medan, North Sumatera local newspaper; that is Analisa. The aim of this paper is to explore the pragmatics meaning of advertising discourses in Analisa newspaper, in which applied the theory of implicature, presupposition, coherence, and background analysis. The data collected were totally 120 advertising discourses. The technique of analysis data that were applied is descriptive analysis. The findings are revealed that Analisa newspaper consisted of 14 pragmatics meaning. Offering products are the most dominantly pragmatic meanings expressed in the newspaper. This shows that the purpose of commercial ads in the local newspaper tends to offer products for selling to the community and to market as well.

Abstract

Ibu-ibu PKK di Kelurahan Titi Kuning Kecamatan Medan Johor telah memiliki lahan hidroponik dan telah menghasilkan sayur segar.  Agar usaha hidroponiknya memiliki ragam hasilnya, ibu-ibu PKK perlu mengembangkan keterampilan baru mengolah hasil hidroponik tersebut. Karena mie merupakan makanan pavorite bagi keluarga Indonesia, tim pengadian melatih dan mendampingi mitra dalam membuat mie dari sayur hidroponik mereka. Program pengabdian dilakukan dengan 15 pengurus ibu-ibu PKK mewakili setiap RT yang ada di Kelurahan Titi Kuning. Metode yang diterapkan adalah dengan melakukan ceramah, praktik,Tanya jawab, dan diskusi. Selain itu, tim juga memberikan bantuan berupa mesin listrik pembuat mie kepada kelompok ibu-ibu PKK untuk menghasilkan mie sayur. Kegiatan ini berhasil menjadikan mitra mampu menghasilkan makanan bergizi, bernutrisi dan layak jual.  Selanjutnya, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menambah pendapatan keluarga dengan dapat berkembang menjadi sebuah usaha.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi membaca dan menghapal Al Qur’an bagi peserta didik Rumah Tahfidz Baginda Syarif di Kelurahan Purwodadi Kecamatan Sunggal Kabupaten Deli Serdang Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan penggunaan metode tikrar dan murojaah. Di samping itu, tim pengabdian juga memberikan bantuan fasilitas pendukung, pendampingan dan diskusi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dapat memperbaiki bacaan al-Quran mereka dan menghafal dengan lebih cepat. Kegiatan ini, dengan demikian, mampu meningkatkan kompetensi peserta didik dalam membaca dan menghapal Al-Quran.

Abstract

Program PKM ini memilih mitra usaha bakso Bang Boneng yang telah mampu bertahan selama 27 tahun.Mulai bulan Maret, efek pandemi Covid-19 amat dirasakan oleh pemilik usaha. Pemasaran hanyadilakukan secara langsung, belum menggunakan media online. Tidak mampu memenuhi permintaan barudi era new normal berupa bakso frozen. Belum memiliki peralatan berupa freezer box untuk persediaanlogistik daging dan bakso. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan daya saing agar mitra mampubertahan dan dapat mengembangkan usaha melalui program pendampingan usaha yang dilakukan oleh stafpengajar Politeknik Negeri Medan. Pengusaha diajak untuk menerapkan strategi pemasaran secara onlinesehingga usaha ini mampu menjangkau pelanggan lebih luas lagi. Memberikan materi pelaatihan tentangkomunikasi pemasaran yang efektif. Disamping itu pengusaha harus mampu menangkap peluang baru daripermintaan konsumen yang membutuhkan makanan dalam bentuk frozen. Memberikan bantuan berupaperalatan mesin blender penggiling daging untuk membantu mempersingkat waktu proses pembuatanbakso dan membantu pengadaan peralatan freezer box untuk membantu penyediaan bakso dalam bentukfrozen. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, pengusaha telah mampu menyediakan bakso frozen, memiliki logistikpersediaan daging, bisa diakses secara online, dan memiliki tempat usaha dalam bentuk ruko.

Abstract

The PKM partner's business is "Rumah Bandrek Helvetia Lezat". The business is run by partners because they see market opportunities that the traditional red ginger drink is very beneficial, one of which is healthy for the body. The most basic problem is the equipment available for the red ginger bandrek production process is still simple and the results are limited. This is because the red ginger milling process only uses a blender that has not too much capacity and takes repeated time to produce bandrek. Bandrek produced only 10 kg in 2 weeks. The second problem that was found in partners was that the owner of the red ginger bandrek business did not yet have the knowledge of how to market its products. This simple marketing knowledge certainly affects the sales income of this red ginger bandrek not smoothly. Moreover, partners have not carried out good financial management. (still traditional, profit is not known with certainty because it has not prepared financial reports for its business). Based on the activities that have been carried out by the PKM team, it can be concluded that the household business of Rumah Bandrek Helvetia Lezat "as a partner can run its business smoothly after being given assistance in the form of a ginger grinding machine and providing product marketing training can increase partners' knowledge in marketing.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dimulai dari adanya kebutuhan kelompok Ibu-ibu PKK Desa Karang Anyar, Kecamatan Pegajahan  untuk mengembangkan kegiatan katering menjadi sebuah unit bisnis.  Permasalahannya adalah selama ini kelompok ibu-ibu PKK belum melakukan kegiatan pemasaran dalam memperkenalkan produk mereka, terutama kegiatan pemasaran secara digital. Di tengah kecanggihan teknologi sekarang, maka ibu-ibu PKK harus mampu memasarkan produk mereka secara online dengan menggunakan digital marketing.  Satu diantara  aplikasi yang digunakan adalah Google My Bisnis atau Google BisnisKu.  Melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan strategi digital marketing dengan memanfaatkan media sosial diharapkan akan dapat memberi pengetahuan kepada kelompok Ibu-ibu PKK mengenai cara agar dapat memperluas jaringan konsumen  dalam memasarkan produknya sehingga dapat meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing.  Untuk mencapai hal tersebut Tim PKM Polmed memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada ibu-ibu PKK dalam hal merencanakan dan membuat bisnis, membuat materi promosi, menggunakan aplikasi Google Bisnisku dan juga memberikan bantuan untuk melengkapi peralatan yang dibutuhkan untuk kegiatan memasak.  This activity started with the need for a group of PKK mothers in Karang Anyar Village, Pegajahan District, to develop catering activities into a business unit. The problem is that so far, the PKK women's group has not carried out marketing activities in introducing their products, especially digital marketing activities. In the midst of today's technological sophistication, PKK women must be able to market their products online using digital marketing. One of the applications used is Google My Business or Google My Business. Through dissemination and training on digital marketing strategies by utilizing social media, it is hoped that it will be able to provide knowledge to the PKK group of women on how to expand the consumer network in marketing their products so as to increase competitive advantage. To achieve this, the PKM Polmed Team provided socialization and training to PKK mothers in planning and creating a business, creating promotional materials, using the Google My Business application, and also providing assistance in completing the equipment needed for cooking activities.

Abstract

The city of Medan has been designated by the government as a MICE destination in Indonesia. MICE events (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions/Events) are important activities in the development of the tourism industry. MICE activities use many facilities in the tourism industry, such as transportation, accommodation, various attractions and entertainment including souvenirs. Organizing a MICE event in a destination has a multiplier effect not only in the economic field but also in the social and environmental fields. Therefore Sustainable MICE events have become a global trend that aims to maintain the sustainability of quality economic, social and environmental life. The implementation of Sustainable MICE events will provide a positive value for a destination to be selected by a world association as a preferred destination. Several studies have been conducted to obtain mechanisms underlying a sustainable MICE industry. This study aims to examine 1) the effect of social identity in the implementation of sustainable MICE events, 2) the effect of social identity on the desire to participate, 3) the effect of the implementation of sustainable MICE events on the desire to participate and 4) the effect of social identity through the implementation of sustainable MICE events on the desire to participate. The population and samples were taken from the community in the IVENDO association which is an association of MICE event organizers, 94 participants who had been event organizers in the city of Medan. The sampling technique uses a non-probability sample using a saturated sample. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis technique uses PLS Smart 3.0. The results of the study show that social identity variables have a positive and significant effect on sustainable MICE events. The social identity variable has a positive and significant effect on the desire to participate. The implementation variable of sustainable MICE events influences the desire to participate. Social identity variables through sustainable MICE events have a positive and significant effect on the desire to excel.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of e-service quality and promotion on customer satisfaction both partially and simultaneously. Types of research is quantitative. The population in this research is PT PLN (Persero) Medan Region, Medan City, North Sumatra with population as many as 1031 customers. The types and sources of fata secondary. The sampling technique uses probability sampling technique. The formula in this research uses the Slovin Formula. The results showed that e-service quality partially had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction through PLN Mobile at PT PLN (Persero) Medan Region. Promotion has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction through PLN Mobile at PT PLN (Persero) Area Medan. E-service quality and promotion simutaneously have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction through PLN Mobile at PT PLN (Persero) Area Medan.
