Abstract

Education plays a key role in the development of a nation, with an important contribution both through formal and informal channels such as the family. Formal education in institutions such as schools aims to expand knowledge and critical thinking skills, while informal education in the family functions as an initial foundation for the development of a child's character. In Indonesia, as regulated in Constitution No. 20 of 2003, education is a planned effort to develop individual potential so that they are ready to face social and economic challenges. In the context of economic development, entrepreneurship is a central issue with the government encouraging the growth of new entrepreneurs to create jobs and increase competitiveness. It is hoped that entrepreneurship education can overcome the obstacles faced by young people, such as uncertainty in choosing the type of business and the risk of failure. Entrepreneurship learning not only includes the theory of starting a business but also marketing strategies and developing creative ideas. Thus, entrepreneurship education functions as a tool to improve the skills, creativity and readiness of young entrepreneurs in facing global competition. Evaluation of effective learning models will make a significant contribution in producing a generation of competitive and innovative entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of Islamic education within a multidisciplinary curriculum that integrates various disciplines to provide a more comprehensive understanding of Islamic teachings. This multidisciplinary approach is considered essential in addressing the challenges of modern times, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (IRE). By utilizing multiple perspectives, it is expected that students will gain broader and deeper knowledge not only in religious contexts but also in social, cultural, and scientific aspects. The research method used in this paper is literature review, where various academic sources and theories of Islamic education are examined to understand the application of the multidisciplinary approach in education. The findings indicate that a multidisciplinary curriculum in IRE can help shape students' character holistically, encompassing spiritual, moral, and intellectual dimensions.

Abstract

This text descriptively discusses the political policies of Umar bin Khattab in governing the state. Umar's leadership lasted for about 10 years, yet under his rule, the government expanded rapidly due to the stable political conditions and the continuity of leadership from Abu Bakr Ash-Shiddiq. Khalifah Umar proved to be an effective administrator, establishing governmental institutions and policies that separated the interests of the political elite from those of the general population. Umar is known for his groundbreaking policy of dividing the state into provinces, each governed by a designated governor. He also continued the expansion of the empire to various regions, including the Arabian Peninsula, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Persia, and Rome, strengthening and empowering Islam, based on the principles of the Qur'an and Sunnah. His knowledge and innovations in addressing poverty, as well as his ability to optimize the state's wealth and resources, ensured that the society of his time lived in peace, prosperity, and well-being.

Abstract

The role of the madrasah principal in Islamic educational institutions is very important in managing various expected goals and targets. As the highest leader, the madrasah principal has a standard of eligibility within himself to succeed in various constructive policies in education. This study aims to analyze the role of the madrasah principal in managing educational institutions, both within the school and externally. The researcher used qualitative research with the type of literature study from various sources, including books, journals, academic research results, and other reports. The study results indicate that the madrasah principal must have four main roles in developing Islamic education, namely as an administrator, as supervisor, as curriculum and human resource manager, and as manager of facilities and infrastructure and information technology. For this reason, this study can be used as an important reference in understanding the role of Islamic leadership through madrasah education.

Abstract

Tawhid, as the core teaching of Islam, is the foundation of faith that underlies every aspect of religious belief and practice. Within a philosophical framework, Tawhid is not only understood normatively-theologically but can also be analyzed through two main dimensions: epistemology and ontology. Tawhid epistemology focuses on how knowledge about the oneness of God is obtained, including revelation, reason, and spiritual experience as the main means by which humans understand God. Meanwhile, Tawhid ontology explores the nature of God's existence as an absolute entity and his relationship with the universe as creation. This research aims to integrate epistemological and ontological perspectives in understanding Tawhid, using qualitative methods based on philosophical analysis. Data was collected from primary sources such as the Koran, Hadith, as well as the works of classical Islamic philosophers such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, Al-Ghazali, and Mulla Sadra, combined with secondary sources in the form of contemporary studies. Research findings show that Tawhid is not only a theological principle but also a paradigm that connects human knowledge with the reality of existence. Tawhid in a philosophical perspective opens up space for synthesis between revelation and reason, making it a comprehensive and relevant basis for thinking to answer modern intellectual challenges. This contribution strengthens the integration between Islamic philosophy and theology, providing a solid conceptual basis for a deeper study of Islam.

Abstract

This article focuses on the concept of hadith text criticism, which is essential to understand when evaluating hadiths. It covers the history, objectives, benefits, and steps involved in the process of text criticism. The method employed is library research using a deductive-inductive analytical approach to assess the quality of a hadith, ensuring its authenticity is undisputed when practiced. The research findings reveal that both sanad (chain of narration) and matan (text) criticism have been in practice since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This practice was carried out by his companions, the tabi’in, the tabi’-tabi’in, and hadith scholars up to the present day. Text criticism is particularly important to determine whether a hadith's matan is authentic or not. If the matan is found to be unauthentic, the hadith cannot be used as a basis for religious matters.
