Abstract

The plurality of society is a unique wealth of the Indonesian nation. To maintain harmony between communities, multicultural-based humanist teaching is needed. This research was conducted with the aim of revealing the basic concept of multiculturalism from the aspects of understanding, history, goals, and principles that exist in multicultural education. The method used in this research is library research or library study, which is an activity related to library data collection methods, both by reading and taking notes as well as processing research materials using various sources such as books, journals, thesis results, and so on discussion material. The results of this research show that the history, goals, and principles of multicultural education have an important role in dealing with diversity. Through multicultural education, humanist, tolerant, and democratic attitudes can be instilled.

Abstract

From the perspective of the Indonesian people, multicultural education is not something surprising, because the character and personality of the Indonesian people themselves are accustomed to the extraordinary diversity of the archipelago. Multicultural education is an alternative for integrating the diversity that exists in Indonesia. Because of this, the aim of this research is to examine in more depth the meaning and implications of multicultural education in Indonesia. And the method used in this research is literary study or library research, namely by collecting information from various sources, both taken from books and journals related to the research problem. The results of this research show that multicultural education is an educational strategy that is applied in all subjects by using the cultural differences that exist in students such as differences in religion, race, ethnicity, and so on, and the implications of this multicultural education are multicultural education. It will form students who can appreciate cultural diversity, recognize cultural diversity, and by utilizing this cultural diversity to foster multicultural awareness within the frame of "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika".

Abstract

This research aims to reveal how the responsibility of guidance and counseling teachers in confronting the neglected guidance and counseling label. The type of research used in this research is literature, where the author uses a descriptive normative research approach with more emphasis on the power of data analysis from existing data sources. Researchers to collect information that is relevant to the topic or problem that will be or is being researched. The results of this research show that guidance and counseling teachers play an important role in students' success in undergoing the education process at school. The duties of a guidance counselor include understanding and observing student behavior as well as providing counseling services that help students overcome the various problems they face. Not only teaching and providing counseling to students, guidance counselors also have many responsibilities that must be carried out in accordance with the counselor's professionalism. Basically, guidance and counseling teachers are needed to meet the social and psychological needs of children at school. BK teachers are seen as teachers who solve the problems of undisciplined children. In fact, guidance and counseling teachers have a big role in shaping the character of students, not just dealing with the problem of naughty children, but their role is very crucial in guiding students to be successful in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of Kampus Merdeka as an innovation in higher education in Indonesia, with a focus on Civic Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan or PKN) learning. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review approach, exploring the concepts and implementation of Kampus Merdeka and its impact on the development of students' skills. The results show that Kampus Merdeka provides autonomy and flexibility to students, stimulates innovation, and creates an adaptive learning environment. The implementation of this program in PKN has successfully made a positive contribution to the demographic bonus through mandatory learning and integrating service learning to enhance student engagement in the community. Despite facing challenges such as efficient academic management and limited resources, Kampus Merdeka Belajar is considered a strategic step in the transformation of higher education. In conclusion, Kampus Merdeka serves as an innovative platform supporting student development, aligning learning with the demands of the times, and reaffirming commitment to the quality of higher education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in schools has an important role in shaping the character and spirituality of students. However, the challenges of the digital era and social dynamics demand strategic program innovations to optimize PAI learning. This article discusses various innovations that can be applied, such as the integration of technology in learning, the development of a relevant curriculum, the improvement of teacher competence, and the application of active learning methods. By adopting these strategies, PAI is expected to be more effective in forming a generation that is faithful, noble, and able to face the challenges of the times.
