This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection methods use interviews, observation and documentation. Determining informants using purposive techniques and data analysis in this research includes data reduction, data presentation, data condensation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show: 1) there are two types of concept for distributing zakat through TPQ Darul Quran in the Integrated Zakat Village, namely creative productive distribution and creative consumptive distribution. 2) The existence of the TPQ Darul Quran program is very beneficial for the people of Paceh Hamlet because many children can learn to recite the Quran as well as study religious knowledge for free. In fact, with the large number of children studying at TPQ, it is starting to stimulate the economy of the surrounding community because several people can sell around the TPQ.

Abstract

Abstract: Realizing well-being is a state where individuals or groups of society seek to meet their material, spiritual, and social needs due to unmet requirements. This study aims to evaluate and optimize the distribution of Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah (ZIS) funds through the implementation of the Three Circles Model to achieve the well-being of mustahik at BAZNAS Kota Palembang. The Three Circles Model, developed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, integrates a holistic approach in ZIS fund management with a focus on three main areas: muzakki, amil, and mustahik, encompassing social, economic, and religious aspects. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of ZIS fund collection and distribution data with qualitative interviews with mustahik and amil at BAZNAS Kota Palembang. The findings indicate that during the first six months of 2024, BAZNAS Kota Palembang successfully collected a total of Rp3,968,830,416 in ZIS funds and allocated Rp2,645,040,148 to various programs, including "Palembang Peduli," "Palembang Sehat," "Palembang Makmur," "Palembang Cerdas," and "Palembang Taqwa." These programs have had a positive impact on improving the well-being of mustahik by meeting basic needs, improving housing conditions, providing health services, supporting education, and creating job opportunities. However, challenges such as fluctuations in fund collection and suboptimal allocation from the total funds collected were noted. This study recommends enhancing transparency and accountability in fund management, improving distribution mechanisms to reduce disparities, and developing more effective monitoring and evaluation systems. Additionally, suggestions for future research include studying long-term impacts, innovations in management, and comparative analysis with other zakat institutions. By implementing the Three Circles Model, BAZNAS Kota Palembang is expected to more effectively optimize the distribution of ZIS funds and achieve the goal of mustahik well-being in a more comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This studio quickly checked that the Z-PRO application was very effective in improving the efficiency of zakat services at LAZ Persada. Previously, LAZ Persada used an inefficient manual method, limiting productivity and precision in service. The Z-PRO application is designed to automate various operational processes, such as managing donation data, the zakat distribution section, and information to investors in real time, to the top of transparency and submission of institutional reports. Using a descriptive investigation method, you will copy data through interviews, personal observations, and LAZ Persada's direction. The results of the study show that the implementation of Z-PRO has a significant positive impact, increasing employee productivity, reducing administrative errors and accelerating services to donations and beneficiaries. The implementation of this application has proven effective in generating public trust and improving the quality of zakat services, and therefore we recommend digitalization standards for other zakat institutions to maximize community business.

Abstract

ABSTRACThe potential of waqf in Indonesia is immense, yet its realization remains far from optimal. This study discusses the optimization of waqf innovation in the digital era to support sustainable development in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach and literature review, this research examines the challenges in optimizing waqf innovation in the digital era, the development of waqf innovation, and what can be done to enhance its optimization. The findings reveal several challenges, such as low digital literacy, limited public trust, and the lack of regulations supporting digital waqf innovation. The study also explores digitalization opportunities, including the use of technologies such as crowdfunding, blockchain, and smart waqf applications, which can improve efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in waqf management. With collaboration among the government, waqf institutions, the private sector, academics, and society, these innovations are expected to maximize the socio-economic impact of waqf for sustainable development. The research provides strategic insights into leveraging digital technology to optimize waqf potential in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Religiosity, Understanding, Trust and Social Environment on the Interest in Paying Zakat Tijarah of Traditional Market Traders in Palembang City. This population is 100 traditional market traders. The sampling technique uses incidental sampling, namely a sampling technique whose determination is based on chance, that is, anyone who coincidentally (incidentally) meets the researcher will be used as a sample. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using SmartPLS version 3 software. PLS is a method for solving Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which in this case is more compared to other SEM techniques, which consist of convergent validity tests, Avarage Variance Extracted, Reability Test, Cronbach Alpha, Discriminant Validity Test, Structural Model Test, and Hypothesis Test From the results of the hypothesis test, the religiosity variable has no influence on traders' interest in paying zakat. The understanding variable has a positive effect on muzakki interest. Test the hypothesis that the trust variable has no effect on traders' interest in paying zakat. The results of the hypothesis test of social environmental variables have no effect on traders' interest in paying zakat.
