Conference on Community Engagement Project (Concept)
Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

This activity the author did with the aim of increasing revenue and customer visits and increasing public understanding of the existence of these food stalls. Warung Makan Mak Oteh is located at Pasar Angkasa, Nagoya Blok CC No 1 Batam, Riau Islands. As for some of the obstacles faced by restaurants, namely locations that are less strategic and only rely on the community around the location of the food stalls, so that customer knowledge about the existence of the restaurant is still weak and there is also no social media. accounts for sale so that no marketing promotions are carried out at the food stalls. or Mak Oteh's advertisements to attract customers to come shopping even though the products served are delicious. The implementation of the activities will take place from the beginning of October to the end of November 2022. The author has compiled several work plans that will be carried out on the implementation of activities related to digital marketing, namely the implementation of promotions in digital form that will be implemented, are already running and can be used for long-term performance. The initial stage that the author will do is to investigate the problems that occur in the business, find solutions to existing problems, design a more efficient system for the business, implement a new system plan in the business and explain the results obtained when operating the system. The activities carried out by the author have resulted in digital promotions that adapt to the problems faced by entrepreneurs such as a less strategic location. By implementing digital marketing, such as running promotions through their own social media accounts, digital marketing through paid advertising, and setting up a Google account business for Google Maps. The implementation of this new promotion system has a positive impact and also contributes to sales.

Virus Covid-19 sedang melanda dunia pada saat ini, tak terkecuali Indonesia, virus Covid-19 turut serta mempengaruhi dunia pendidikan dimana proses belajar mengajar yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka diruang kelas akibat pendemi virus corona covid 19 proses belajar mengajar harus dilakukan melalui pembelajaran jarak jauh, hal ini lakukan untuk mendukung pemerintah dalam menekan laju penyebaran virus corona, sesuai dengan kebijakan pemerintah, Presiden Jokowi menyampaikan kebijakan belajar dari rumah, bekerja dari rumah, dan beribadah di rumah harus benar-benar efektif dilakukan, proses Belajar dari Rumah dilakukan melalui pembelajaran daring atau jarak jauh dengan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pemanfaatan bahan ajar digital dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh ditengah pandemi virus corona covid-19 pada SMK Batam International School dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh pada SMK Batam International School ditengah pandemi virus corona covid19, proses pembelajaran bisa berjalan dengan baik dengan adanya teknologi informasi yang sudah berkembang pesat saat ini diantaranya e-learning, google class, whatsapp, zoom serta media informasi lainnya serta jaringan internet yang dapat menghubungkan guru dan siswa sehingga proses belajar mengajar dapat berjalan dengan baik sebagai mana mestinya meskipun ditengah pandemi virus Covid-19.

One of the Intellectual property rights is a trademark. Brands are needed as identification on an item with the aim of making it easier for someone to recognize an item on the brand. A person can easily recognize a product on a brand by name or image. If a mark wants to get legal protection, the trademark owner must submit an application for registration of rights to the mark. The advantage obtained in registering a trademark is that other parties cannot use the mark without permission and cannot imitate the mark. An item that has its own brand has a higher value, where someone can trust the product more. Products that do not have a brand make the value of a product not too high, a person's lack of trust in buying and can result in the product not selling well. The problem that is currently rife is the imitation of brands by other parties which is not allowed so that the owner of the mark registers the “Kopi Add Time” mark to DJKI. The method used is through observation, interviews and literature study through laws and regulations, legal journals, expert opinions. The result is success in assisting the "Kopi Add Time" brand in submitting an application for trademark registration

Keterbatasan modal, sumber daya manusia, serta tata kelola keuangan yang minim adalah masalah yang sering dihadapi dan dapat menurunkan daya saing antar UKM. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini dapat memberikan dukungan kepada UKM Cath’s Beauty House dalam pencatatan transaksi keuangan. Metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan sistem berupa metode waterfall dengan melakukan perencanaan konsep, pemodelan, pengerjaan sistem, pengujian hingga implementasi sistem. Hasil output penelitian ini berupa sistem pencatatan akuntansi berbasis web yang dapat mencatat dan mencetak laporan transaksi bagi UKM Cath’s Beauty House. Dengan adanya sistem ini, Pencatatan keuangan UKM Cath’s Beauty House menjadi lebih mudah, akurat dan terpusat.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) makes people adapt to all aspects of life, including education. Maitreyawira Tanjungpinang Vocational High School began implementing face-to-face learning by tightening health protocols to maintain the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities. The application of learning that is carried out face-to-face certainly requires teaching materials. The problem experienced by the school at this time is that they need more time and space to prepare teaching materials for the new school year, specifically 2022/2023. Until now, teachers have only used printed books corresponding to the syllabus in the teaching process. This teaching method is challenging for teachers and not attractive to students accustomed to using information technology during Covid-19. Thus, this community service activity aims to prepare engaging teaching materials for the 11th-grade Government Institutions/Agencies Accounting Practicum at Maitreyawira Tanjungpinang Vocational High School. The primary and secondary data and information needed in this preparation are collected through interviews and literature studies. Stages of implementation of teaching materials preparation activities starting from preparation to assessment and reporting. The outputs of the activities are a learning module consisting of eight chapters with practice questions and answer keys, eight PowerPoints, and eight YouTube videos. Based on feedback from the teacher of related subjects through questionnaire, the teaching materials compiled will be beneficial for the teaching and learning process. Teaching materials are challenging to implement in the long term if there are no periodic adjustments to the core and basic competencies, which are constantly updated following the curriculum and the new school year. Therefore, the suggestion for similar projects in the future is to evaluate and adjust the teaching materials that have been prepared previously following the update of core and basic competencies.

Online Shop The Zenzy Shoes was founded in 2017, is engaged in shoes trading and is located at Ruko Ciptaland Blok Anggrek, Batam. The online shop has been around for 3 years, the records are still very simple, their every sales transaction is recorded in Microsoft Office Excel. The purpose of this research is to be able to design a reliable and accurate accounting recording system that has quality for users. The author designed a system using Microsoft Office Access to make it easier for users to enter transactions and display financial reports. The author designs the system according to the needs of MSMEs and makes forms of vendor data, customer data, goods data, purchases, sales and is equipped with a list of accounts, general journals, and a list of assets in order to present information on financial reports and after the system design is complete, the implementation continues with MSMEs to ensure that the system functions properly and there are no errors.

Kantin Orchid Park merupakan sebuah usaha yang bergerak dibidang pelayanan makanan yang tidak memiliki peraturan atau pedoman dalam pelaksanaan tugas sampai kegiatan operasionalnya. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh usaha ini juga dikarenakan berkurangnya jumlah konsumen sejak Covid-19 masuk ke Indonesia, Adanya karyawan yang tidak melaksanakan protokol kesehatan seperti memakai masker saat melayani konsumen mengakibatkan banyak konsumen yang takut memesan makanan yang ada di usaha ini. Penulis merancang Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) dalam bentuk Flowchart untuk kantin Orchid Park, agar para karyawannya dapat mengetahui dan melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik. Hasil dari implementasi perancangan SOP ini adalah meningkatnya konsumen pada Kantin Orchid Park sehingga dapat meningkatkan keuntungan pada tempat usaha ini. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat membuat sistem penilaian kinerja agar karyawan dapat bekerja lebih baik lagi kedepannya.

Trademark Rights are Intellectual Property Rights that often used in daily life and very important for business actors where they become differentiators from other products and or services. Brand rights can also provide protection for the owner to avoid imitation from competitors. But the fact is that there are still many business actors who have not registered their trademarks for their businesses because of the lack of knowledge about brands. One of them is Steak Jobs. The owner of Steak Jobs objected to the relatively high cost of registering a mark if it was registered by an IPR consultant and the complicated process of registering a trademark if it was done by himself. In this case, Steak Jobs requires legal assistance in the form of assistance in registering its trademark. The method of implementation carried out by the author is in the form of a survey to find partners, interviews to find out the problems being faced, providing insight to partners related to the trademark registration mechanism, collecting the necessary documents and registering the mark online on the merek.dgip.go.id site. The output of this project is assistance for the registration of the Steak Jobs Trademark which is submitted online to the Directorate General of Intellectual Property, the issuance of an online application receipt for the registration of the Steak Jobs Trademark until the trademark registration application is declared complete and enters the announcement stage as a result of the assistance for the registration of the Steak Jobs Trademark.

Sistem permohonan dalam bidang lahan di Kota Batam semakin berkembang sehingga saat ini segala permohonan diajukan secara online. Dengan adanya sistem yang berbasis online membuat segala permohonan yang diajukan oleh perorangan hingga badan jadi lebih mudah. Adapun sistem yang berbasis online ini disebut LMS/Land Management Syistem (Sistem Pengelolaan Lahan). Banyak permohonan yang dapat diajukan pada system ini, mulai dari pelayanan dokumen pengganti, pelayanan pecah penetapan lokasi pendaftaran peralihan HAT, pelayanan perpanjangan HAT, pelayanan gabung penetapan lokasi, pelayanan penerbitan SKEP dan PPL baru, pemberitahuan hak tanggungan, pelayanan balik nama PL, serta pelayanan penerbitan SKEP dan PPL perubahan. Proses yang digunakan pada sistem LMS ini dilator belakangi oleh Peraturan Kepala BP Batam Nomor 3 tahun 2020, yang mulai berjalan sejak bulan Maret 2020 hingga saat ini. Khususnya pada permohonan perpanjangan alokasi lahan, banyak yang merasa keberatan dikarenakan pemberlakuan denda dimulai enam bulan sebelum masa waktu berakhir. Sehingga banyak pemohon yang mengajukan permohonan merasa diberatkan dengan tagihan denda yang hampir sama besar dengan biaya faktur yang harus dibayar nantinya. Mengenai permasalahan ini perwakilan dari Notaris dan PPAT telah melalukan pertemuan dengan pihak BP Batam guna membahas masalah denda yang dikenakan tersebut

Technology development is used to improve academic and non-academic students’ abilities in education. Many platforms and devices offer interesting material designs for learning activities. Attractive and sophisticated material design can increase students' motivation and interest in learning. The implementation of ICT in English subjects is done at SMAN Negeri 16 Batam to increase students’ motivation in learning. Interviews and questionnaires are conducted with the English teacher and students in grade XI of the Social Sciences Major. The Likert scale is designed as an instrument that consists of statements for data analysis. Through Google Forms will be shared online, students can fill in the questionnaires. The author conducts the interview face-to-face to obtain information based on the teacher’s point of view. The results will determine and identify issues for implementing ICT in the school. The author will decide on the teaching media and create material that is suitable for students based on the result of the data analysis. The output of this project is Lesson Plan, Teaching materials and assessments design that integrate ICT. The author introduces ICT through Microsite for assisting the teacher in teaching English. Lastly, the author concludes the result through the response of the partner.
