Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) merupakan teknologi yang semakin penting dalam kehidupan modern, khususnya di era digital yang sangat kompetitif. Namun, literasi AI di kalangan pelajar sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) masih rendah, sehingga menghambat kesiapan mereka dalam memasuki dunia kerja berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang AI kepada siswa SMK Nusantara 01 Ciputat melalui sesi teori. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dan aplikasi AI, meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala seperti waktu pelatihan yang terbatas. Artikel ini memberikan analisis rinci tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan, hasil, serta rekomendasi untuk implementasi lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) activity with the theme "Digital Security Socialization: Increasing Awareness of Youth of Karang Taruna 'Cipta Karya' towards Cyber ​​Threats and Self-Protection in Cyberspace" was carried out by a team of Pamulang University students in Rancagong Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, on November 10, 2024. This program aims to increase public understanding and awareness, especially Karang Taruna youth, regarding cyber threats and digital protection measures. This activity includes delivering educational materials on types of cyber threats such as hacking, online fraud, and data theft, as well as basic techniques for protecting personal information. In addition to delivering the material, interactive sessions in the form of questions and answers and quizzes were also held to encourage active involvement of participants. The results of this activity showed that participants gained a better understanding of the importance of maintaining digital security and were motivated to apply this knowledge in their daily lives. In closing, souvenirs were given to partners as a form of appreciation for their support for this program. This program is expected to continue in the future to reach more communities, so that the younger generation is better prepared to face the challenges of the digital era wisely and safely.

Abstract

An This community service activity in the field of digital security technology aims to raise awareness and understanding among middle school students about the importance of protecting themselves from cyber threats. In an increasingly digital world, cyberattacks have become a real threat that can damage personal data, steal important information, or even cause financial losses. Unfortunately, many students lack sufficient knowledge about preventive measures against cyberattacks, making them more vulnerable to such risks. Therefore, this activity aims to provide an understanding of how to avoid cyberattacks through socialization, training, and simulations that can be applied in daily life. The steps taught include using strong passwords, managing privacy settings on social media, being cautious of suspicious emails and links, as well as the importance of security tools like antivirus software and firewalls. It is expected that through this activity, middle school students will be able to reduce the risk of falling victim to cyberattacks and become more cautious in using digital technology. The expected outcome of this community service activity is to enhance students' knowledge and skills in safeguarding personal data, as well as positively impacting safer digital behaviors.

Abstract

Increasing technological literacy is a strategic step in preparing the younger generation to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This community service activity aims to build a basic understanding of machine learning (ML) technology for students of SMKN 5 Tangerang Kota. The implementation method includes basic theory delivery, interactive training, simple practice of building image classification using MIT App Inventor Personal Image Classifier, and group discussions. The results showed a significant increase in the understanding of basic Machine Learning concepts such as classification and regression, as well as the high enthusiasm of the participants in understanding the application of this technology. This programme is expected to be the first step in creating a generation that is able to actively contribute to the development of artificial intelligence-based technology.

Abstract

 An environmentally friendly technological system that can be utilized as a food source is the aquaponic system. Aquaponics is a way of farming that combines aquaculture and hydroponics, the goal is to raise fish and plants in a circulated environment and interconnected system. The advantage of the aquaponic system is that fish waste can be used as a source of organic fertilizer that is good for plant growth and the products produced are organic products because they only use fertilizer from fish waste that has gone through a biological process. Aquaponics applies a natural ecological system in which there is a mutually beneficial relationship between fish and plants. The application of aquaponics on Cemara beach can improve the economy of the community and as one of the sources of attraction of this tourist spot.

Abstract

Zakat is one of the important pillars in Islam, which requires Muslims to give part of their wealth to those in need. Optimizing the management and reporting of zakat funds in Muhammadiyah is very important to ensure transparency, accountability, and trust from Muzakki (zakat donors) and Mustahik (zakat recipients). This Community Service Activity aims to improve understanding in the field of accounting at Lazismu Kutai Timur, East Kalimantan. The method of implementing this PKM is carried out by means of socialization, namely by delivering material on accounting regulations and techniques. Furthermore, assistance is also provided by directly assisting with problems faced by employees and staff related to accounting. The results obtained from this PKM activity are to improve employee understanding, especially in the management or administration of accounting which can ultimately improve the quality of financial reports. Furthermore, identifying obstacles and challenges faced by employees related to accounting, relevant policy recommendations will be prepared to improve the effectiveness of financial reporting training and education at Lazismu Kutai Timur. This PKM is also expected to provide a real contribution in improving financial reporting at the Lazismu unit of Kutai Timur Regency, as well as providing a better understanding of the importance of financial reporting in local economic development.

Abstract

The training on modern application design for learning the creation of interactive prototypes using Figma at Pondok Pesantren Assa'adah aims to provide knowledge and practical skills in designing and developing interactive digital applications. Figma, as a cloud-based design tool, allows participants to create prototypes that can be tested directly with users without the need for deep coding skills. In this training, participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, as well as the process of creating prototypes that can be tested and refined. By integrating modern design technology, this training is expected to enhance the students' ability to innovate and create digital applications that can be used for various educational and social needs within the Pondok Pesantren environment. Through this training, participants will gain hands-on experience in utilizing Figma to produce effective, creative, and implementable interactive prototypes.

Abstract

The Nurul Yaqin Prayer Room in Sindang Laut Village is a prayer room that organizes religious activities such as praying, reading the Qur'an and the Ta'lim Assembly and other community activities. This prayer room is located at Kp. Tangkil RT/RW 002/04 Sindang Laut Village, District. Carita, Kab. Pandeglang, Prov. Banten. The people's livelihoods include managing tourist attractions, factory workers, freelance workers transporting sand and gravel, farmers and others. The partner's problem is that they do not understand the concept of an audio system and that standard installations around the room have not been utilized that can be used to support the layout and installation of the audio system. This Community Service (PKM) aims to provide education about the concept and provide installations as an implementation of the ecomasjid (Mushola) concept. The targets of the activity were the Sindang Laut sub-district head, RW 04 administrators, RT 002 administrators, DKM Mushola Nurul Yaqin administrators. PkM methods are surveys, problem identification, counseling, training and evaluation. The PkM material consists of counseling, training and carrying out work to repair audio systems and install power amplifiers with DKM and residents of the Nurul Yaqin Mushola. The results achieved by the implementer were good and correct audio and sound installations in accordance with the National Standardization Agency (BSN), namely the Development and Application of Mandatory SNI for Electrical Equipment. This PKM is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the form of education, community service and research. The results of research and PKM can enrich course material. This PKM activity is also related to the Main Performance Indicators (IKU), namely IKU 2: Students gain experience outside campus, IKU 3: Lecturers carry out activities outside campus and IKU 5: Lecturers' work results are used by the community. This PKM is also an implementation of the Pamulang University College - Electrical Engineering which can be felt by the local community, where Nurul Yaqin is located in the province of Banten. The output is in the form of a journal or intellectual property rights with the title Audio System Repair and Installation of Power Amplifiers as a Worship Facility in the Nurul Yaqin Prayer Room, Sindang Laut Village.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi Mentimeter sebagai alat evaluasi interaktif. Mentimeter, sebagai platform berbasis teknologi, memungkinkan guru membuat evaluasi yang lebih menarik dan dinamis melalui fitur seperti kuis, polling, dan word cloud. Program ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 31 Medan dan melibatkan pelatihan bagi guru matematika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam menggunakan teknologi sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang cara memanfaatkan Mentimeter secara efektif. Guru mampu merancang evaluasi interaktif, memberikan umpan balik langsung kepada siswa, dan menganalisis hasil evaluasi secara real-time. Penerapan Mentimeter terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika, menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif, dan membantu siswa memahami materi secara lebih baik.Namun, beberapa kendala yang dihadapi termasuk keterbatasan akses internet dan waktu yang diperlukan untuk memahami fitur-fitur aplikasi. Oleh karena itu, disarankan adanya pelatihan lanjutan serta peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi di sekolah untuk mendukung keberlanjutan program ini. Dengan demikian, penggunaan Mentimeter dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam mengatasi tantangan pembelajaran matematika di era digital

Abstract

−The activity of community service in this program will try to provide support to increase work productivity at CV. BKM Sidoarjo through the implementation of strategies based on PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act). Emphasis is placed on strengthening teamwork and organizational communication to break down big obstacles: a lack of trust between team members, a limitation in the competence of new employees, and an inability to be open with any conflict. The different stages of the process involve problem identification through planning, intense provisioning with simulation and role-playing methods during the 'Do' stage, periodic evaluation in the 'Check' stage, and corrective steps for sustainability in the 'Action' stage. Implementation results indicated a productivity increase of 41% over and above the initial target. This program has succeeded in bringing about a culture of collaboration and efficiency in work. The suggestions for sustainability: to create a continuous provisioning program, besides using the 5-S concept as work environment efficiency support. With such benefits being accrued to them in the process, the case would serve as an invaluable reference for other similar organizations grappling with such obstacles.
