<![CDATA[The Covid-19 pandemic has a profound impact on the world of education. Online learning (KBM) is a process that must be done. This study aimed to prove a number of HR variables that affects the teachers’ performance in the online learning era. In this era, it is believed that the role of teachers as a children educator even the face-to-face is irreplaceable by these digital tools. It turns out that the teacher who performs well is not merely motivated by payroll and bonuses, but there are other aspects that determine the good performance. This study was conducted at Pelita Harapan Bangsa Tegal. The population was 57 teachers and data collection techniques used in this study by distributing questionnaire, and the data were analyze with Smart PLS version 3.0. The result showed that HR variable consisting of Work discipline, Organization commitment and the Work Environment that positively influences teacher performance. HR Strategies have positive effects such as: disciplining in all levels, expressed and fulfilled organizational commitment, as well as work environment that is designed as comfortable as possible for teachers to improve their performance.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine how the management of academic supervision at the Ash-Haabul Kahfi Lubuk Alung Integrated Islamic Elementary School in improving teachers competency and professionalism. The research approach was conducted qualitatively with descriptive methods. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study are: (1) In conducting academic supervision planning activities, the school principal had implemented it well. The school principal and teachers had compiled a one-year program design through the school meeting forum. (2) In the process of conducting academic supervision, the principal is considered to have no understanding of academic supervision, because it only focuses on teacher administration examination only (3) Follow-up academic supervision has not been maximized run by the principal as a supervisor, because only fostering teachers whose administration are incomplete. The lack of guidance for school principals related to the learning process, teacher skills in teaching, makes teachers not experience a significant increase in terms of competence and profession as a teacher.]]>

<![CDATA[The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education has announced the results of ranking universities in Indonesia. Universitas Brawijaya has experienced ups and downs in ranking. During the period of 2015-2019, the best ranking of Universitas Brawijaya in the fifth recruitment in 2016. This study aims to formulate a series of optimization strategies for improving UB's rank. Research approach with qualitative methods and the literature review technique and focusing on several approaches to formulate strategy, which are Balanced Scorecard, SWOT, and SPACE. Retrieval of data with the method of observation and documentation. While data validation with Triangulation. The results of this study explained that the Balanced Scorecard, SWOT, and SPACE could be used to solve strategy formulation problems. There are eleven strategic steps to optimize and improve Universitas Brawijaya's ranking by following the indicators set by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.]]>

<![CDATA[Industrial Revolution 4.0, as one of the main paradigms of the modern economy, requires higher education to straighten up to face this trend. Surabaya State University (UNESA) emphasizes the development of human resources (HR) as the main target of internal development in order to deal with industry 4.0. The academic community is encouraged to be sensitive to technology, by increasing intellectual capacity through civilization, training, competition, and / or schools. The study aims to identify the readiness of UNESA in facing challenges of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The implication of this research is to enrich the education management research about linking strategy between higher education and industry demand. The result showed that UNESA had moderate readiness in facing the challenges of Industrial Revolution 4.0 by deepening of intellectual capacity in the IT field through improving campus facilities and infrastructure, and procuring new learning technologies. Networking development with private sector is also becomes useful strategy in linking HR with the IT world related to Industry 4.0. Such a strategic effort under the prevailing laws and regulations enable UNESA to advance in pioneering the development of industry 4.0 on campus, especially for creating qualified graduates.]]>

<![CDATA[The objective of this research is to evaluate the context, input, process and product components in Evaluating Implementation of Competency Test Place for Automotive Technician at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga. The implementation of this research is conducted with a descriptive evaluative research method using CIPP (context, input, process and product) evaluation model. Data collection in this research is carried out through interviews, observations and documentations which are validated through Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities. The results of this research stated that: 1). Context Evaluation of Implementation Competency Test Place for Automotive Technician at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga is based on the identification of needs and policies by the government; 2). Input Evaluation of Implementation Competency Test Place for Automotive Technician at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga already has technical and administrative readiness in the Field of Automotive Engineering Expertise; and Competency Test for Automotive Technicians; 3). Process Evaluation of Implementation Competency Test Place for Automotive Technician is still not in accordance with expectations and plans that have been made; 4). Product Evaluation of Implementation Competency Test Place for Automotive Technician at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga has been carried out, however there are still many obstacles encountered in it. The conclusion of this research is the decision on the Implementation Competency Test Place for Automotive Technician at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga is more incremental. It seems to be an important consideration that the Implementation Competency Test Place for Automotive Technician at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga should be continued with some improvements.]]>

<![CDATA[This study tries to describe the Open Junior High School in performance and service to improve quality with different strengths compared to other schools. This research was conducted using qualitative methods by using approach phenomenology. This study used a combination of method triangulation needed because each data collection method has its own weaknesses and strengths. By combining at least three methods, for example participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document searches, then one method will cover each other's weaknesses so that the catch on social reality be-comes more reliable. The results of this study indicate that Open Junior High School can use various strategies in teaching and learning activities thus making the charac-teristics of Open Junior High School.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to examine whether marketing strategies based on the marketing stimuli of higher education services influence the selection of the Politeknik Pos Indonesia as higher education institution to continue their studies, as well as which of these marketing mix factors is most influential. The data collection was carried out by an independent survey involving 356 Politeknik Pos Indonesia students. The results showed that all variables had a significant influence on the decision making of the Politeknik Pos Indonesia by prospective students. Hence, the first and second hypotheses are proven by the most influential factor is the product.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to obtain data and information about the ethical leadership of teachers in character education in Tangerang City Middle School. Specifically to obtain data and information on four aspects of the ethical leadership of teachers in character education, with reference to transformational leadership, namely; 1) Idealized influence (Charismatic influence), 2) Inspirational motivation, 3) Intellectual stimulation, and 4) Individualized consideration (individual attention). This study uses a survey method with a quantitative descriptive variable approach. The population of this study were students from three State Junior High Schools in the city of Tangerang, which numbered 942 students, then the sample was taken by proportional random sampling obtained by the number of 90 students. The technique for data collection was used a questionnaire. Research data as follows; 1) The influence of teacher ideality for students, is at 60.30% including the moderate/sufficient category; 2) teacher's inspirational motivation for students, at 61.21% including the moderate / sufficient category; 3) teacher intellectual stimulation for students, at 59.22% included in the moderate / sufficient category; 4) teacher's individual attention for students, is at 59.87% including the category of moderate / sufficient. Then the accumulation of each of the aspects or indicators above obtained data that shows, that the ethical leadership of teachers in character education of students in Tangerang City Middle School is at 60%, including the category of moderate or sufficient.]]>

<![CDATA[The admission of new students (PPDB) is a school agenda that is held every year. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the zoning-based PPDB Program in SMP Negeri 2 Pabelan, Semarang Regency. Program evaluation is done by assessing any discrepancies/gaps between the program standards from the central government and the actual conditions of the PPDB program that occurred in SMP Negeri 2 Pabelan. This type of research is a program evaluation research using Discrepancy Model developed by Malcolm Provus. The Discrepancy Model consists of 5 stages: the design stage, the installation stage, the process stage, the product stage, and the cost-benefit analysis stage. However, this research only used 4 stages, namely the design stage, the installation stage, the process stage, and the product stage. Data collection used in this study were, interview, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the design of the category program was sufficient (conformity score 73.3%), the installation of the good category program (100% suitability score), the process of the good category program (suitability score 92.86%), and the program product category was good (the suitability score 87.5%).]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to evaluate the School committees’ performance that include: 1) consideration of determining and implementing educational policies; 2) raising funds and other educational resources from the community; 3) supervision of education services; 4) following up on complaints, suggestions, criticisms, and aspirations for school performance in SD Negeri Tuntang 02. Data collection techniques used in this study were used technical triangulation and source triangulation. Technical triangulation conducted through interviews, observations, and also documentary studies. Researchers conducted observations, interviews, and documentary studies on the performance of School Committees in SD Negeri Tuntang 02. While in triangulation of sources, researchers conducted interviews with School Committees, Principals, and also teachers. Data analysis techniques used in this study was qualitative approach. The results of this evaluative study showed that the School Committee's performance in giving consideration to the determination and implementation of education policies in SD Negeri Tuntang 02 showed an achievement rate of 11/12 x 100% = 92%, so that it was included in the good category. School Committee performance in raising funds and other educational resources from the community through creative and innovative efforts shows the achievement rate of 3/7 x 100% = 43% so that it is included in the category of lack. The performance of the School Committee in supervising education services in SD Negeri Tuntang 02 showed an achievement rate of 7/12 x 100% = 58% so that it is included in the sufficient category. The performance of the School Committee in following up complaints, suggestions, criticisms, and aspirations as well as observations on the performance of SD Negeri Tuntang 02 showed an achievement rate of 6/6 x 100% = 100%, so that it is included in the good category.]]>
