Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using 3 kg LPG on the production efficiency of micro-enterprises located on Jalan Boulevard 2, Sindulang, Manado City. The use of 3 kg LPG represents an energy-related production factor that supports the smooth operation of production processes, particularly for micro-enterprises in the culinary sector. This is a quantitative study employing an associative approach. Data collection was conducted through observation and the distribution of questionnaires to micro-enterprise owners on Jalan Boulevard 2, Sindulang, Manado City. While the exact population size was unknown, a sample of 43 respondents was selected using Cochran's formula and a non-probability sampling technique—specifically, purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method with the aid of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that the use of 3 kg LPG has a positive and significant effect on production efficiency. This is evidenced by a path coefficient of 0.682, a T-statistic of 9.751, and a P-value of 0.000. The R-square value of 0.466 indicates that the use of 3 kg LPG explains 46.6% of the variance in production efficiency, while the remaining 53.4% is explained by factors outside the research model. These findings demonstrate that the more optimally 3 kg LPG is utilized in production activities, the higher the production efficiency micro-enterprise owners can achieve.

Abstract

Digital transformation requires higher education institutions to integrate academic, research, and community-service data into systems that are efficient, traceable, and easy to use. This study reports the further development of an integrated web-based information system at Akademi Penerbang Indonesia Banyuwangi to strengthen the management of Tri Dharma activities. The study applied a Research and Development design combining qualitative needs identification with quantitative post-development user evaluation. Initial needs were identified through observation and interviews with five lecturers and five education staff. The improved system integrated activity data, strengthened monitoring and reporting, and added research-budget management functions, including budget-component input, PDF export, financial approval, and revision notes. The developed system was subsequently evaluated by 28 respondents selected from a population of 30 users using a five-point Likert questionnaire consisting of 15 items. The overall mean score was 4.45, which falls within the 'strongly agree' category. The highest mean score was 4.57 for easier access to academic information and support for research management, while data security received the lowest mean of 4.25 but remained in the same category. The findings indicate that the continued development improves usability, data-management efficiency, and institutional coordination while highlighting security as a priority for further enhancement.

Abstract

Personnel document management is a strategic element of human resource management because it serves as a legal foundation and a basis for organizational decision-making. This study aims to examine the management of personnel documents, the obstacles encountered, and efforts to improve the effectiveness of personnel document management in the HCGA Division of PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk Regional Pasima. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive qualitative research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving four informants, consisting of the Head of the HCGA Division and personnel document management staff. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldāña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Data validity was examined through source and method triangulation. The results showed that document receipt and completeness verification had not been standardized, resulting in delays and incomplete documents, particularly at the end of the month and during recruitment periods. Document recording, classification, and maintenance were also not optimal due to the absence of standardized codes, digitalization, and written SOPs. Retrieval of active documents was relatively quick, whereas inactive documents depended on staff members’ memory. Obstacles included delivery issues, limited storage infrastructure, and dependence on senior staff. The study recommends implementing digital archiving integrated with an HRIS and developing written SOPs to improve the effectiveness of personnel document management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Work Discipline (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at CV. Kombos Tendean Manado, both partially and simultaneously. The study is grounded in the crucial role of human resources as the primary driver for achieving organizational goals; consequently, employee work discipline and motivation are hypothesized to be factors that help determine company performance. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing descriptive, field, and library research methods. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires distributed to 53 employee respondents at CV. Kombos Tendean Manado. The data were then analyzed using classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R-Square) with the aid of SPSS software. The results indicate that, partially, Work Discipline does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance (t-count 1.482 < t-table 2.009; Sig. 0.145 > 0.05), nor does Work Motivation (t-count 0.467 < t-table 2.009; Sig. 0.642 > 0.05). Simultaneously, Work Discipline and Work Motivation also do not significantly affect Employee Performance (F-count 1.174 < F-table 3.183; Sig. 0.317 > 0.05). The R-Square value is 0.045, meaning the two independent variables explain only 4.5% of the variation in Employee Performance, while the remaining 95.5% is explained by factors outside this research model. These results must be interpreted in light of the research instrument's low reliability (Cronbach's Alpha below 0.60 for all variables); therefore, it cannot be immediately concluded that Work Discipline and Work Motivation have no conceptual impact on Employee Performance.

Abstract

Green marketing strategies have a major influence on consumer perceptions and can shape how consumers evaluate products and services. Today’s consumers are becoming more careful when choosing goods and services, particularly by considering how products and business practices may impact the environment. The purpose of this study is to examine how the application of green marketing strategies affects consumer perception. Consumer perception is important because it can shape buying interest and influence consumer purchasing decisions. To examine how green marketing influences consumer perceptions, this study uses a qualitative research approach with Gen Z students at Manado State Polytechnic as the research subjects. The results obtained in this study show that Gen Z students pay more attention to transparency, specificity, and supporting evidence in green marketing practices. They consider detailed information, measurable claims, and clear language about marketed products as important factors in determining whether a product can be trusted and whether they are interested in purchasing it. Therefore, clear and credible green marketing information plays an important role in shaping consumer perceptions and purchasing interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Environment and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at PT PLN (Persero) Transmission Implementation Unit (UPT) Manado, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The study population consisted of 85 employees, with a sample of 46 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, normality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that Work Environment, Work Motivation, and Employee Performance were generally categorized as very good. The regression equation obtained was Y = 0.069 + 0.058X1 + 0.945X2. Partially, Work Motivation had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (t-count = 20.574 > t-table = 2.017; Sig. = 0.000), while Work Environment did not have a significant effect (t-count = 1.294 < t-table = 2.017; Sig. = 0.202), which was presumed to be caused by multicollinearity (VIF = 18.139). Simultaneously, both variables had a positive and significant effect (F-count = 4323.774 > F-table = 3.214; Sig. = 0.000), with a contribution of 99.5% (R² = 0.995).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze service quality and its relationship with student satisfaction in the Department of Business Administration, Business Management Study Program, Manado State Polytechnic, using the Service Quality (SERVQUAL) approach. A quantitative descriptive-survey design was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 students selected using accidental sampling. The research instrument consisted of 55 indicators covering 11 SERVQUAL dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, competence, access, courtesy, communication, credibility, security, empathy, tangibles, and assurance. Data were analyzed by comparing perception and expectation scores, calculating the conformity level and SERVQUAL gap, and mapping service attributes using a Cartesian Diagram. The results showed an average perception score of 3.08 and an expectation score of 4.65, resulting in a gap of -1.56. All dimensions recorded negative gaps, with access showing the largest gap (-1.75) and identified as the primary priority for improvement. The Cartesian Diagram placed access in Quadrant I; reliability, competence, credibility, security, and assurance in Quadrant II; responsiveness and communication in Quadrant III; and courtesy, empathy, and tangibles in Quadrant IV. The findings indicate that service quality improvement should focus on accessibility, responsiveness, communication, information security, and service consistency. This study provides a basis for evaluating and continuously improving service quality and student satisfaction.
