Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of precious metal promotion on customer interest at PT. Pegadaian UPC Paniki Manado, and to identify a recommended promotional strategy based on the findings. The study is motivated by the strong potential of the precious metal installment product as a safe, affordable investment, although the effectiveness of its promotion still needs examination. A quantitative, associative research design was used. The sample consisted of 50 customers already aware of the promotion, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression using SPSS. Results show the instrument is valid and reliable, with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.911 for Promotion and 0.913 for Customer Interest. The Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.709, indicating a strong relationship. Regression analysis produced Y = 10.282 + 0.809X with an R Square of 0.503, meaning Promotion explains 50.3% of the variation in Customer Interest. The t-test shows a t-count of 6.965, greater than the t-table value of 2.011, with significance 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, indicating Precious Metal Promotion has a positive and significant influence on Customer Interest. Based on these findings, the company is advised to continue improving promotion quality through digital media and direct public education, while also considering other factors beyond promotion that influence customer interest, to support sustainable growth in customer interest.

Abstract

Farming on a large scale at Agritech PT XYZ calls for satellite monitoring so that supervision actually works, yet a heavy schedule of field visits has not translated into effective monitoring on its own. Earlier work largely stops at the direct link between monitoring technology and farming performance, leaving the pathway joining the two thinly and inconsistently evidenced, especially across the Indonesian agritech landscape. This study therefore weighs how four dimensions of satellite monitoring implementation, covering information availability, information accuracy, monitoring speed, and operational utilisation, shape land monitoring effectiveness, while asking whether data-driven decision making carries that influence. The design is quantitative and causal, drawing on 120 field agronomists enumerated as a census, with estimation through partial least squares path modelling. Every dimension lifted both land monitoring effectiveness and data-driven decision making at a meaningful level; the latter in turn raised effectiveness and conveyed the influence of all four. Each dimension travels a different route, since information availability moves largely along the direct path whereas information accuracy contributes almost wholly through decision making, with monitoring speed standing out overall. Investment therefore needs sorting by mechanism rather than treating remote sensing as one uniform construct.

Abstract

Abstract

Tourism innovation plays a vital role in driving sustainable economic recovery, particularly in emerging destinations facing post-pandemic challenges. This study examines how innovation policies shape tourism competitiveness through the Innovation-Led Policy Pathway Framework, focusing on Kerinci District, Jambi Province, Indonesia. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 30 key stakeholders through surveys and semi-structured interviews representing government, academia, industry, and community sectors. Quantitative analysis reveals that Innovation Outputs (β = 0.41, p < 0.01) and Enabling Environment (β = 0.32, p < 0.05) significantly influence tourism competitiveness (R² = 0.59), with reliability coefficients above 0.84. Qualitative findings highlight policy fragmentation, limited digital literacy, and weak institutional linkages as constraints, while community creativity and eco-innovation emerge as local strengths. The study concludes that competitiveness improves when innovation inputs such as human capital and digital readiness are transformed into tangible outputs through coordinated policies and collaborative governance. Strengthening policy coordination, digital capacity, and eco-innovation standards is recommended to embed innovation as a systemic driver of sustainable tourism growth aligned with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

Abstract

Knowledge management at the Directorate General of Budget Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) has been institutionalized through Echelon IV units within each directorate. This initiative aims to facilitate smooth inter-Echelon I rotation as part of the "KemenkeuSatu" framework, while simultaneously preserving the expertise of specialists and retiring officials. This study aims to analyze the implementation of knowledge management at DJPPR, identify existing barriers, and formulate key success factors for the future. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with 19 informants, and questionnaires distributed to 224 DJPPR employees. The results indicate that knowledge management implementation at DJPPR is performing well, with an average score of 3.95. The "knowledge application and use" dimension achieved the highest score (4.23), followed by "knowledge sharing" (4.16) and "knowledge creation" (3.75), while the "knowledge capture and storage" dimension recorded the lowest score (3.68). The study also identifies primary barriers stemming from human resources, organizational support, and leadership involvement. Conversely, the key success factors include human resource aspects (awareness, competence, and a learning mindset), organizational support (governance, rewards, technology, and budget), leadership support, and cultural factors (trust and a sharing culture).

Abstract

This study aims to identify and synthesize previous research results on the processing and downstreaming of soapberry (Sapindus rarak), analyze its potential utilization in supporting an environmentally-based green economy, and formulate recommendations for inclusive downstream development strategies for low-income communities. The approach used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with data sources in the form of journal articles, proceedings, and research reports obtained from the Scopus, Google Scholar, and Semantic Scholar databases for the period 2015–2025. The literature search and selection process follows the PRISMA stages, which include identification through the keyword “Soapberry (Sapindus rarak)”, followed by filtering based on relevance and inclusion criteria, article quality assessment, and thematic synthesis. The results of the study indicate that research on soapberry mostly focuses on its use as an environmentally friendly natural ingredient, such as organic soap, natural detergent, and botanical pesticide. However, studies that integrate downstreaming aspects with a green economy and community empowerment framework are still relatively limited. The literature synthesis resulted in a map of research developments related to soapberry processing, identification of opportunities for value-added downstream products, and a design of a conceptual model for green economy-based downstreaming that supports environmental sustainability and improving community welfare
