Abstract

Internship activities at partner company PT XYZ, are activities carried out to provide a forum for interns to contribute to the company's business activities, especially retail companies. The work that has been done for approximately five months. The benefits of internships ranging from technical skills on the tools used during work, to the ability of soft skills and also hard skills that are honed during internships at PT XYZ. then with some of the evaluations contained are expected to be able to become material developments for the organizers, participants to company partners in internships.

Abstract

Training on financial management is an important need in the digital era, especially in facing the challenges of online loans (pinjol) that are increasingly prevalent. This research aims to improve financial literacy through financial management training for teachers at Yayasan Petra Alpha School Jakarta, with a focus on understanding the risks of online lending and how to manage personal finances wisely. The method used was interactive lectures, where the material was delivered with explanations on the importance of financial planning, budgeting, saving, investing, and distinguishing between needs and wants. The results of the training showed that most participants began to understand the importance of good financial management to achieve financial stability, although some participants still had difficulty in recording income and expenses systematically. The training also equipped participants with practical skills in managing debt and utilizing technology to monitor expenses. Evaluation of the training showed that with a better understanding of financial management, teachers can make wiser financial decisions and avoid financial problems due to reliance on online loans.

Abstract

The educational program at SMK Tri Ratna Jakarta focuses on cultivating entrepreneurial skills among students. They are required to develop products for sale, preparing them for entrepreneurship upon graduation. Various aspects of entrepreneurship are covered, including the calculation of Cost of Goods Manufactured and business feasibility. Accurate determination of Cost of Goods Manufactured is crucial for predicting potential profits, as errors in this process can lead to financial losses. Business feasibility is assessed through metrics such as payback period and Break Even Point. Recognizing the lack of information on these topics among students, the author initiated training sessions on Cost of Goods Manufactured calculation and business feasibility at SMK Tri Ratna Jakarta. The training sessions employed lecture and discussion methods to impart knowledge. The outcome of these sessions was enhanced understanding among students regarding the components of Cost of Goods Manufactured and methods for determining business feasibility using two different approaches. Students actively engaged in the training, demonstrating enthusiasm by asking numerous questions about Cost of Goods Manufactured calculations and business feasibility assessments for their products.

Abstract

The community service program aims to explain and train the candidates of OSIS members including the chairs, the concept of leadership and GRIT. The program was implemented on January 20, 2025 at SMK Tarakanita Jakarta. The speakers and trainers involved two lecturers from STIE Trisakti (Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Trisakti) and two senior students. The participants were 37 students intended to be the members of OSIS. The program was divided into lecturing and interactive sessions. The lecturing session was presented by the lecturers explaining the concept of leadership, GRIT, and the qualities of good leaders. During the lecturing session, the speakers also convey some questions to the students to confirm the comprehension of the participants. Subsequent to the lecturing session, two senior university students held the interactive sessions. In this session, the speakers shortly talked about personality and personality test such as MBTI. Participants were again asked some questions and answers some quizzes. The students were then given prizes for the best answers. Future community service program could further the leadership issues by conducting role play methodology.

Abstract

Organizational transformation is crucial in a constantly changing era, but these efforts often fail because they overlook the vital role of organizational culture as the primary foundation. This webinar aims to provide an understanding of the importance of organizational culture through a conceptual approach from Dr. Nurwanti and a real-world case study from Mr. Yupiter Gulo, particularly in the transformation process of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI). The information from the webinar shows that strengthening the organizational culture, such as implementing the AKHLAK values, is a key factor in achieving significant and sustainable change, as evidenced by KAI's improved performance. This article concludes that true transformation begins with a shift in values and mindset and serves as a guide for leaders in driving positive change.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to hold a training in QuickBooks accounting software for the educational staff at a foundation in Timor Leste. The foundation is ABC educational foundation. This foundation operates in the education industry. The foundation owns schools and other education institutions. Previously, the staffs never used QuickBooks accounting software. This is the first time they operate QuickBooks Accounting software. Therefore, it is expected through this training that the staffs will comprehend how to use the QuickBooks accounting software to record transactions and prepare financial statements necessary for any types of institutions or companies. The community service activity was conducted through direct offline training. The training was conducted at Dili, Timor Leste, on 27-28 February 2025. The training was attended by 30 educational staffs for 2 full days. The training was conducted successfully. After training, we conducted a post-test to find out how well the participants comprehended the materials. Overall, the participants were satisfied with the training, and they were able to record transactions and construct financial statements during the training. QuickBooks accounting software could be used for the operation and education at ABC Educational foundation. To enhance comprehension of the attendants, the training must be practical with real case studies. This way, it is easier to understand how the QuickBooks accounting software works to record and prepare financial statements. The operation of QuickBooks accounting software requires direct connection to the internet. When the connection is interrupted, the operation of the software will be delayed. Therefore, the staffs must ensure the connectivity to the internet during the operation of the software. This training is an international community service program. Therefore, this activity will strengthen the education collaboration between Indonesia and Timor Leste. We also hope that this training will enhance the understanding toward accounting software and how the software can assist accountants or accounting staffs in their daily routines.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance students’ understanding of Income Tax (PPh) Articles 21 and 26 as well as their calculation in accordance with the latest regulations. The training was conducted on January 15, 2025, at SMK Pelita IV Jakarta and attended by approximately 180 students from various majors. The method of implementation included lectures, case studies, and interactive discussions led by qualified tax practitioners. The materials covered the legal basis of Articles 21 and 26, taxable and non-taxable income, withholding agents and recipients, taxpayers’ obligations, tax calculation based on Article 17 rates, and the application of the Monthly Effective Rate (TER). The results revealed that participants were able to understand fundamental taxation concepts, distinguish income components, and calculate Income Tax systematically. Moreover, the activity fostered awareness of the importance of tax compliance from an early age, equipping students with applicable tax literacy for their future careers. Therefore, this training successfully improved participants’ taxation competence and contributed to developing a young generation that is tax-conscious and compliant with Indonesia’s taxation regulations.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to elaborate the importance of entrepreneurship and to motivate the students of Sekolah Lansia Bekasi to become more independent after undergoing pension. The theme of the community service activity is Entrepreneurship and was conducted on 22 January 2025, 09.00 until 11.30 in kecamatan Rawa Lumbu, Kotamadya Bekasi. The activity was attended by 270 students. The activity was opened by opening speech by the headmaster of Sekolah Lansia Bekasi, Ibu Sri Kustini. After that the Secretary for the Center of Research and Community Service Trisakti School of Management (TSM), Regi Muzio Ponziani, delivered a speech. Only then did the speakers that were also the lecturers of TSM delivered the community service materials.

Abstract

MBKM is a program by the government that aims to eliminate the skills gap between current manpower available to the industry needs. This report explains the writer’s experience during the internship program at PT Tirta Investama (Danone Indonesia) as Profit and Revenue Growth Analyst. In the program, the writer is assigned to do monthly finance reporting, involved in digitalization project, analyzed a certain business case, and built sales support dashboard. This internship experience helps the writer to develop the skills more, such as communication skills, ability to work in team, and another technical ability such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI. A few administrative technicalities should be improved in order to make this program better

Abstract

This internship report was aimed to explain Author’s activities during internship at Grab Indonesia through Magang Bersertifikat Kampus Merdeka Program held by the Ministry of Education. This program aims to provide opportunities for students to experience first-hand how to work and be involved professionally in a company. This report will explain about the Company, Author’s daily activities as part of Commercial, Project Operations and Strategy team and how the job are being divided. Beside daily activities about the job given, this report will explain other activities like internal training and engagement activities provided by People Organization team.
