JURNAL EKSPERIMENTAL : Media Ilmiah Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
Jurnal Eksperimental merupakan media ilmiah pendidikan bagi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah yang diterbitkan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah STI Tarbiyah Al-Hilal Sigli. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali setahun yaitu pada bulan Juli dan Desember. Selanjutnya, jurnal ini diterbitkan dalam dua versi, yaitu cetak dan online. Fokus jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel penelitian tentang Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Pendidikan Guru SD/MI/SD, seperti analisis kompetensi, strategi pembelajaran, teori pembelajaran, pengembangan pembelajaran, profesionalisme pendidik, dan hasil penelitian. Reviewer akan meninjau setiap makalah yang dikirimkan ke redaksi jurnal eksperimental.

<![CDATA[The aim of this study was to determine the cognitive improvement of the 4th grade students after the group investigation learning model was implemented. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) which is implemented in three cycles. The subjects were 21 of the 4th grade students at SD Negeri Pineung, and data were collected through tests, observation sheets, interviews, field notes, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the average score in cycle I was 43, with a percentage of 0%. Furthermore, the average score in cycle II was 67, with a percentage of 42%. And the average score in cycle III reached 82 with a completion percentage of 100%. So it can be concluded that the application of the group investigation learning model can improve student learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this study is to determine mathematical conceptual errors that occur during lectures. The study sample consisted of 73 of the 3rd semester undergraduate students from the Primary School Teacher Education (PGMI) program who were enrolled in the Basic Mathematical Concepts course across three class units (Units I, II, and III). Data collection techniques are carried out by monitoring each answer from the students' exercises, quizzes, assignments, and mid-term exam answers. The data analysis technique was carried out using descriptive analysis of students' misunderstandings of mathematical concepts. The research results found several conceptual errors that occurred, including: (1) conceptual errors in arithmetic operations involving negative numbers, (2) conceptual errors in fraction operations, (3) conceptual errors in algebra, especially those involving one or two variables, and (4) not completing the units for measuring area and length.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes following the implementation of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model among of the 4th grade students at MIN 11 Pidie. The research method used is PTK (Classroom Action Research). The subjects of the study consisted of 25 students of the 4th which are 13 boys and 12 girls. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets through teacher activity observation sheets (LOAG), student activity observation sheets (LOAS) and through tests by distributing LKS to students. This research was conducted in 3 cycles. In cycle I, the average value obtained by students was 56.8, while the classical completion value obtained was 16%. In cycle II, the average value was 68.4, while the classical completeness value obtained was 52%. In cycle III, the average value obtained increased to 81.8 with a classical completeness value of 92%. So it can be concluded that the use of the CORE learning model can improve the learning outcomes of the 4th students at MIN 11 Pidie.]]>

<![CDATA[The teams games tournaments model is one model that is easy to apply in learning because it involves the activities of all students and the presence of elements of the game which of course every student really likes the game and also the award that will be given by the teacher based on the highest score that will be obtained by students. The teams games tournaments model is part of the cooperative learning model that can activate students as a whole. Cooperative learning is a learning model in which students learn and work in small groups collaboratively with 4-6 members with a heterogeneous group structure as well as awards that will be given by the teacher based on the highest score that will be obtained by students. The teacher's role in this model is to present the material and students work in their respective groups. The learning model also serves as a guide for learning designers and teachers in planning activities in the teaching and learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine efforts to improve the cognitive abilities of students in the 11th grade IPA 2 at MAN 2 Pidie Jaya during the 1st semester of the 2021/2022 academic year using the inquiry method within a Pancasila perspective. The research method used is PTK (Classroom Action Research). The research subjects were 18 students of the 11th grade IPA 2 MAN 2 Pidie Jaya in the 2021/2022 academic year with heterogeneous abilities. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, field notes and tests or evaluations. The results of the study showed that the average learning outcomes of students in the pre-cycle were 61.94 with 16.67% of students completing the KKM. In cycle I, the average student score was 74.44 with student completion according to KKM being 72.22%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the average student score was 80.83 with the KKM completion reaching 94.44%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry method from a Pancasila perspective can improve students' cognitive abilities.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the improvement in learning outcomes for the 11th Grade Science 2 students following the implementation of the rotating trio exchange model. research method used is PTK (Classroom Action Research). The subjects consisted of 18 students from the 11th Grade Science 2 class at MAN 2 Pidie Jaya during the 2021/2022 academic year. Pre-test results indicated that in Cycle I, scores ranged from a low of 55 to a high of 80, with an average of 67.22; 22.22% of students achieved scores above 75, while 66.67% scored below 75. In Cycle II, 33.33% of students achieved scores above 75, while the remaining 66.67% scored below 75. In Cycle III, 88.89% of the eighteen students successfully achieved scores above 75, whereas 11.11% did not. Therefore, it is concluded that the implementation of the rotating trio exchange model can improve student learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the cognitive improvement of the 11th grade IPA 1 students with contextual learning. The research method used is PTK (Classroom Action Research). The subjects of this research are 22 students. The research was conducted in three cycles. After the first cycle, it was found that 9 students achieved an MCC score of 75 and 13 students fell below the minimum score of 75, meaning only 40.9% had achieved the material. In cycle 2, there was an increase in the number of students who completed and achieved the minimum score, there were 12 or 54.5% of 22 students. By Cycle 3, 20 students (90.9%) successfully completed the lesson requirements, while 9.1% still failed to do so. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of contextual teaching and learning can enhance students' cognitive performance.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the differences in mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who learn through the cooperative learning model and conventional learning on trigonometry material in the 10th grade. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method and quasi-experimental design. The research population was all students of the 10th grade MAN 2 Pidie Jaya, while the research sample consisted of the experimental class that received learning with the cooperative learning model and the control class that received conventional learning. The population of this research was all students of the 10th grade MAN 2 Pidie Jaya consisting of 60 students consisting of 3 classes. The sample in this study were students of class X.1 and X.2 who were taken randomly. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistical tests to identify differences in mathematical problem-solving abilities between the two groups. Based on the calculation results, the calculated t value < ttable was obtained, namely the calculated tvalue = 0.521 and the ttable value = 1.67. So it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model had no significant effect on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in trigonometry material in the 10th grade MAN 2 Pidie Jaya.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the influence of student management on the academic achievement of the 11th Grade students at MAN 4 Pidie Jaya. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research method. The population in this study were of the 11th Grade students of MAN 4 Pidie Jaya. The determination of the sample design used in this study was based on the purposive sampling method with 60 students obtained from which 35 students were then drawn as samples. The data analysis method in this study uses simple linear regression to predict the influence of independent variables. The results of the study show that student management has a significant influence on learning achievement, which means that student management also means the entire process of planned and considered activities, as well as continuous student development, so that the learning process from student registration to withdrawal can be tracked effectively and efficiently.]]>
