Jurnal Eksperimental merupakan media ilmiah pendidikan bagi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah yang diterbitkan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah STI Tarbiyah Al-Hilal Sigli. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali setahun yaitu pada bulan Juli dan Desember. Selanjutnya, jurnal ini diterbitkan dalam dua versi, yaitu cetak dan online. Fokus jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel penelitian tentang Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Pendidikan Guru SD/MI/SD, seperti analisis kompetensi, strategi pembelajaran, teori pembelajaran, pengembangan pembelajaran, profesionalisme pendidik, dan hasil penelitian. Reviewer akan meninjau setiap makalah yang dikirimkan ke redaksi jurnal eksperimental.

Abstract

This article aims to examine in depth the role of parents in managing emotions in early childhood based on Erik Erikson's theory of psychosocial development. The article was written using a literature study method by reviewing developmental psychology books, scientific journals, and relevant research results. The results of the study indicate that a child's success in resolving psychosocial crises in early life particularly the stages of trust, autonomy, and initiative is greatly influenced by the quality of parental care. Warm, responsive, and consistent parenting plays a vital role in helping children recognize, express, and manage emotions in a healthy manner. Thus, the role of parents is not limited to meeting a child's physical needs but also includes ongoing emotional support as a foundation for a child's psychosocial development.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)-supported feedback in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) writing. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines through the identification, screening, eligibility, and synthesis of relevant studies. Data were collected from peer-reviewed articles indexed in ERIC, Crossref, and major academic databases, resulting in 20 eligible empirical studies published between December 2022 and July 2026. The findings show that GenAI-supported feedback improves revision quality, grammatical accuracy, vocabulary, coherence, and learner engagement. However, teacher feedback remains essential for supporting higher-order writing skills, while combining AI and teacher feedback provides the most effective learning outcomes. Overall, GenAI serves as a valuable tool to support feedback and revision rather than replace teachers in EFL writing instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and compare the interests and talents of fifth-grade students at MI Ma’arif Maron in various extracurricular activities. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive comparative survey method. The subjects were 35 fifth-grade students. Data were collected using a validated closed-ended questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics to determine the distribution and average levels of students’ interests and talents in each activity. The results revealed that marching band, sports, and BTQ (Qur’an Reading Guidance) and MTQ (Qur’anic Recitation) activities showed relatively high levels of student interest and talent. Marching band activities were favored for promoting discipline and teamwork, although some students found them physically exhausting. Sports activities received very positive responses regarding physical health, team cooperation, and self-confidence, despite the risk of injury. Meanwhile, BTQ and MTQ were highly appreciated for improving Qur’anic reading skills, patience, and recitation abilities, though challenges included reading techniques and performance anxiety. The study concludes that each extracurricular activity offers distinct advantages and challenges. Therefore, schools are encouraged to implement differentiated coaching programs based on the unique characteristics of each activity to optimize students’ interests and talents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning model in improving student learning outcomes in 5th grade MIN 9 Pidie. The research design used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) Kemmis and Taggart model design with 3 cycles. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative. The subjects in this study were 31 students in class V-C MIN 9 Pidie consisting of 15 male students and 16 female students. In cycle I, the average score was 66.19 with a percentage of 41.94%. In cycle II, the average score was 77.61 with a percentage of 70.97%. And in cycle III, the average score was 89 with a percentage of 100%. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class V-C MIN 9 Pidie

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of sticky board media can improve the learning outcomes of 3rd grade students of SDN 1 Peukan Pidie. The research design used is the type of classroom action research (CAR) with the Kurt Lewis model. The subjects in this study were class IIIA students of SDN 1 Peukan Pidie, totaling 30 students consisting of 18 male students and 12 female students. Data collection in the study was carried out by observation and tests. The results showed that the average individual score in cycle I was 60.66 with a percentage of 40% of students who completed and 60% of students who did not complete. In cycle II it increased to 68.66% with a percentage of 63.33% of students who completed and 36.33 students who did not complete. And in cycle III it increased again to 79.66 with a percentage of 86.66% of students who completed and 13.33% of students who did not complete. It can be concluded that the application of sticky board media can improve the learning outcomes of class III students of SDN 1 Peukan Pidie.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of local wisdom values in the learning process and to explore its impact on student character development. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and classroom observations for data collection. The findings revealed that local cultural values have been incorporated into various subjects such as Science and Social Studies (IPAS), Indonesian Language, and Civic Education (PP). These values include the introduction of regional traditions, the cultivation of tolerance, and the use of local food (carica) in procedural text lessons. Although local wisdom has been integrated conceptually, its practical application remains limited due to insufficient lesson planning and the dominant influence of religious values in the surrounding community. Nonetheless, the integration of local wisdom plays a significant role in enhancing students’ understanding of their cultural heritage and in supporting character education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers' understanding and implementation of local wisdom-based learning at SDN 1 Krasak, Wonosobo. The local wisdom in question includes traditions and cultural values ​​such as ruwatan rambut gimbal, topo bisu, and merdi desa. Through observation and interview methods, it is known that teachers have a fairly good understanding of local wisdom and show efforts to integrate it into learning, especially through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). However, this integration has not been carried out systematically because there are no teaching modules and learning guidelines that directly support it. In addition to the limitations of teaching tools, other challenges include the lack of teacher training, time constraints in the curriculum, and minimal cross-party collaboration. Local wisdom-based learning is currently more incidental and has not become part of the core curriculum. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a contextual curriculum, teacher training, and more affirmative education policies to make local cultural values ​​an important part of students' character education. Learning that is rooted in local culture is believed to be able to strengthen identity, foster a love for one's own culture, and form a generation with character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of local wisdom in teaching at SD Negeri 2 Karangluhur, Kertek District, Wonosobo Regency. The research used a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observations and interviews. The results indicate that the school has integrated local cultural values such as Lengger dance and the processing of carica fruit into thematic learning, particularly in IPAS and entrepreneurship subjects. These implementations are carried out through annual activities such as art performances and market day. The integration not only enhances students' understanding of local culture but also fosters creativity, learning enthusiasm, and character development that reflects love for culture and the surrounding environment. The findings suggest that local wisdom-based learning creates a contextual, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experience for elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role and relevance of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method in the context of Islamic education. SLR is a structured and systematic scientific approach used to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant research findings on a specific topic or research question. Through this method, researchers can gain in-depth insights into various aspects of Islamic education, including the use of technology in learning, authentic and diagnostic assessment techniques, and the integration of Islamic values into modern curricula. The findings suggest that SLR not only enriches the theoretical foundation but also guides the development of more effective, innovative, and contextual Islamic education practices in the era of Society 5.0. Moreover, SLR serves as a valuable knowledge management tool that contributes strategically to curriculum development, instructional methods, and future research directions. Therefore, this study provides significant contributions for academics, educators, and policymakers in designing relevant and impactful Islamic education strategies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of Block Dienes game media can improve the learning outcomes of 2nd grade students of SDN 5 Sigli. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Kemmis and McTaggart model design with three cycles. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests, documentation, data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative. The subjects of this study were 21 of 2nd grade students consisting of 11 male students and 10 female students. The results of the study showed that in cycle I the average score was 66.09 with 6 students completing it with a percentage of 29%. In cycle II the average score was 81.04 with 14 students completing it with a percentage of 67% and in cycle III the average score was 93.19 with 21 students completing it with a percentage of 100%. The results of this study indicate that the application of Block Dienes game media can improve the learning outcomes of 2nd grade students of SDN 5 Sigli.
