Jurnal Eksperimental merupakan media ilmiah pendidikan bagi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah yang diterbitkan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah STI Tarbiyah Al-Hilal Sigli. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali setahun yaitu pada bulan Juli dan Desember. Selanjutnya, jurnal ini diterbitkan dalam dua versi, yaitu cetak dan online. Fokus jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel penelitian tentang Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Pendidikan Guru SD/MI/SD, seperti analisis kompetensi, strategi pembelajaran, teori pembelajaran, pengembangan pembelajaran, profesionalisme pendidik, dan hasil penelitian. Reviewer akan meninjau setiap makalah yang dikirimkan ke redaksi jurnal eksperimental.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling character values in fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 12 Meureudu. The focus of the research is to observe how values such as discipline, responsibility, hard work, and creativity are instilled in students through a conducive learning process and effective teaching methods. The research employs a qualitative field research method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Primary data sources came from teachers and students, while secondary data were obtained from school-related documents. Data analysis was conducted interactively using triangulation methods to ensure data validity. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers play an important role as role models and facilitators in instilling character values. Supporting factors such as facilities and storytelling media facilitate the instillation of values, while challenges encountered include parents' busy schedules and environmental influences. Solutions needed include assigning tasks that increase student responsibility and cooperation between teachers and parents. This research provides in-depth insights into character-building strategies in schools and the challenges faced.

Abstract

This research aimed at obtaining information about the situation of implementing Kurikulum Merdeka in MIN 25 Pidie as well as to identify benefits and barriers which frequently faced. Besides it also aimed to seek the solution to get rid of the problems. The data were collected by the researcher as the main tool of this research and it was involved multy-methods of data collection such as observation, in depth interview and documentation. The result indicated that the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka in MIN 25 Pidie has been applied gradually and it took process toward better result. It required patience and devotion of all members particularly the teachers and the students. Besides, it is also needed to support the teacher more intensively and thoroughly. Regarding the benefits, the curriculum provided the students more oppurtunity to learn in each stage. It also focus on the essential topics to be studied. However, the obstacles faced by the teacher were to write modules of learning because there are some new terms used which are different from the previous ones. In addition, the teachers were challenged in structuring the LKPD (exercises) for the students. Some solutions had been implemented such as together with the collegues to expand the link as well as to be connected through digital infrmation.

Abstract

Multiple intelligence is a theory introduced by Howard Gardner that aims to optimize the intelligence possessed by each individual (student) in terms of achieving certain competencies. There are nine types of multiple intelligence, which are linguistic intelligence, logical mathematical intelligence, visual-spatial intelligence, musical intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, naturalist intelligence and existential intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of abacus media in improving the learning outcomes of 3rd grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sanggeue. The research design used is the type of classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 3rd grade students, totaling 14 students consisting of 11 female students and 3 male students. Data collection in the study was carried out by observation and tests. The results of the study showed that the average individual score in cycle I was 74.92 and increased in cycle II to 87.28. Classical completeness in cycle I was 8 students with a percentage of 57.14%, and classical completeness in cycle II was 14 students with a percentage of 100%. So it can be concluded that the application of abacus media can improve student learning outcomes in 3rd grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sanggeue.

Abstract

Every nation is seemed to be qualified to have quality and leadership which can create more dynamic solidarity and unity. It aims at having capability to persist in various competitions and even it is expected to create more competition and superiority. It is also means in the context of broader community, which every nation is demanded to take part actively and positively either in national, regional or international. But it should keep in mind that in every process of leadership, we will always face the chain which is complete from top to down or even to side to side. Thus, understanding and development in the view and perspective of leadership are important to improve strategy and competition. Especially to create national quality and productivity which are full of solidarity and unity.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the fundamental concepts of innovative-progressive learning, its characteristics, the learning models associated with this approach, and its implications for instructional components. This study employed a qualitative library research method. Data were collected from relevant books, scientific journals, and other academic references and analyzed using a descriptive approach. The findings indicate that innovative-progressive learning encourages students to construct knowledge through direct experience, problem-solving activities, and the application of concepts to real-life situations. Its main characteristics include student-centered learning, the development of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and contextual learning. The approach can be implemented through various instructional models, including Direct Instruction, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Cooperative Learning, Quantum Learning, and Problem Solving. Furthermore, its implementation affects teachers' roles as facilitators, the development of instructional materials, the utilization of learning media, and the application of authentic assessment. Therefore, innovative-progressive learning is considered an effective approach to improving the quality of teaching and learning while fostering students' competencies to meet the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Talking Chips learning model in improving student learning outcomes. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects consisted of teachers and students who participated in the learning process using the Talking Chips model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and analysis of student learning outcomes. Data validity was carried out using source and technique triangulation techniques, while data analysis used an interactive model that included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the application of the Talking Chips learning model was able to create a more active, collaborative, and communicative learning atmosphere. Students had equal opportunities to express opinions, discuss, and participate in learning so that learning engagement increased. Increased activeness and interaction during learning had a positive impact on material understanding and student learning outcomes. In addition, teachers assessed that the Talking Chips model could improve student cooperation, self-confidence, and responsibility in group activities. Thus, the Talking Chips learning model was effectively implemented as an alternative student-centered learning to support improved learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of a jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in class X MAN 2 Pidie Jaya. This type of research is quantitative research. The design of this study is planning, design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The results of the data analysis showed that the acquisition of the pre-test results of students 'mathematics learning with an average of 60. Then apply the jigsaw cooperative learning model for three meetings, at the end of the lesson a post-test evaluation is given to see the students' abilities after applying the jigsaw cooperative learning model. The results of data analysis showed that the students' mathematics learning pre-test results obtained an average of 84.4. Thus, it can be concluded, the jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practical skills of undergraduate of the Elementary Madrasah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) in using Science KITs in the Laboratory Management course. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research sample consisted of 30 students. Data collection was carried out through observation and questionnaire distribution. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that based on the questionnaire, students' practical skills obtained a percentage of 72% and were in the good category. Meanwhile, based on the results of observations during the practical activities, students' skills obtained a percentage of 64% and were included in the sufficient category. The aspect that obtained the highest score, both based on the results of the questionnaire and observations, was the attitude aspect, which showed that students had good responsibility, discipline, and cooperation during the practicum. Thus, it can be concluded that the practical skills of PGMI undergraduates in using Science KITs have been in the good category, although there are still several aspects of technical skills that need to be improved through more intensive and continuous practical training so that students have optimal laboratory competencies as prospective elementary school teachers.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify whether by using the make a match type model can increase the students learning outcomes. This Classroom Action Research consists of three cycles with some stages i.e. planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of the research was the 5th grade students who totally 34 students, in which consisted of 22 females and 12 males. The result of the research indicated that the students obtained the average and classical achievements respectively at cycle I was 65 and 41.18%. Cycle II was 75.29 and 70.58%. And cycle III was 92.35 and 100%. So, the finding shows if by using the model it can increase the students’ learning outcomes.
