Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see if there is an influence of teacher professionalism and principle supervision on teacher performance. This study is an ex post facto quantitative study using a questionnaire instrument. The respondents in this study were 31 teachers from SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung. The data were analyzed using the SPSS application, which calculated regression, t-tests, and F-tests. The study's findings revealed that teacher professionalism and principle supervision had a substantial influence on teacher performance. Previous researchers have never conducted a study like this previously since prior studies only focused on characteristics of teacher professionalism and organizational environment on teacher performance and components of teacher professionalism and teaching experience on teacher performance. While the purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between professionalism and supervision and high school performance. This study is anticipated to help school principals enhance performance by boosting teacher professionalism and providing adequate monitoring.

Abstract

Educational supervision is one method of offering professional help to teachers in order to improve their abilities to manage the learning process efficiently and effectively. The goal of this research was to determine how the learning process was carried out by the instructor after being monitored. The madrasa principal, as a supervisor, must conduct out supervision operations in schools, as well as different supervisory and control activities to enhance teacher performance in learning process activities. Supervision and control are preventive methods to keep instructors from deviating from their duties as educators and to make them more cautious. As a result, this study exposes the supervisory activities carried out on instructors by the Head of Madrasah MTs Negeri 1 Prabumulih City. A descriptive-qualitative technique is used in this investigation. The principal and instructors were the topics of this investigation. This research discusses a variety of topics related to the difficulties addressed. Following that, data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. According to the findings of this study, the presence of supervision activities can help teachers solve educational problems that frequently arise when carrying out teaching and learning activities, as well as motivate teachers to always increase their knowledge in order to become professional teachers in carrying out the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the role of academic supervision of the principal in improving the quality of chemistry learning at SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung. The data sources in this study are the Principal and the chemistry teacher. This research use qualitative methods. Data Collection Techniques: Observation, Interview, Documentation. Data Analysis Techniques: 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation and 3) Data verification. The results showed that the principal had played a role in improving the quality of chemistrys learning through academic supervision obtained from the results of interviews with principals and chemistrys teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung. This research has never been done before by researchers because this research that had done before only focus on the result of supervision such as productivities outcomes not quality or performance , and this research contributes to school principals to improve the work environment and motivate and improve the quality of chemistry learning.

Abstract

This study investigated the influence of academic supervision by the principal in improving the professionalism of TK Negeri Pembina North Indralaya teachers. The administrators and instructors provided data for this study. Data collecting methods include 1) interviews, 2) observation, and 3) documentation. Techniques for analyzing data include 1) data reduction; 2) data display; and 3) conclusion. The results obtained indicate that principals serve as educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, leaders, innovators, and motivators in increasing the professionalism of North Indralaya State Kindergarten teachers. This study is still in its early stages since it attempts to examine in depth the growth of teacher professionalism connected with the principal's academic supervision. This study contributes to school principals, who will increase teacher professionalism by expanding the role of academic monitoring.

Abstract

It is critical to comprehend the requirement for a bureaucracy that is ethical, has integrity, and is devoid of corruption, collusion, and nepotism. This research seeks information on how public trust, ethics, and integrity in government exist in society. The technique employed in this study corresponds to descriptive analysis research principles, although in technical execution, this research is designed as an endeavor to interpret information rather than building or testing a hypothesis. According to the findings of this study, trust is extremely crucial for any institution or organization. To create and strengthen public faith in the government, including good will, leaders carry out their mandated tasks, leaders in their organizations follow all applicable rules, and government officials perform better.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to see how academic supervision and principal leadership affected teacher performance. The quantitative descriptive approach is used in this investigation. The population study were all instructors from SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung. Academic supervision and the principal's leadership have a favorable and substantial link and impact on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Kayuagung, both partially and concurrently, according to the findings of this study. In general, this study has not been widely conducted, particularly when it comes to associating the factors of academic supervision and principal leadership at the same time with teacher performance in senior high schools. This study is likely to benefit principals in particular, as enhancing teacher performance may begin with academic monitoring and the implementation of effective leadership.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of clinical supervision in improving teachers' teaching abilities during online learning. This study is part of a school action research project that was carried out in two cycles (planning, action, observing, and reflecting). The instruments such as observation sheets and interviews were used. The online learning process was observed. The respondents of this study were science teachers at MTs Negeri 1 Prabumulih. The collected data was then analyzed using descriptive techniques. The findings show that after clinical supervision, teachers' teaching skills in online learning was improved. This study differs from previous studies because it tested teachers' teaching skills in online learning through the use of clinical supervision. This research helps principals and teachers improve teachers' online learning teaching skills in order to produce professional teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the use of clinical supervision in developing teacher’s competency at SMA Tri Dharma Palembang. This is accomplished through the use of a qualitative technique with a case study design. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation, with a single data analysis. The results revealed that the application of clinical supervision at Tri Dharma High School Palembang went smoothly through three stages, namely pre conference, observation, and post conference, and boosted teacher competency in controlling the learning process. This study is new because it attempts to investigate the growth of teacher’s professional competence connected with the adoption of clinical supervision in senior high schools. This study is likely to help school principals who seek to increase teacher professionalism by using clinical supervision appropriately.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain and assess if teacher competency and principal academic supervision effect teacher performance at High School PGRI 2 Palembang. This study employed a quantitative methodology. This study's demographic and sample consisted of 64 teachers of High School PGRI 2 Palembang. Data collection methods such as surveys and document studies. The survey results demonstrate that teacher competency and academic supervision from the principal have a substantial influence on teacher performance at High School PGRI 2 Palembang, both separately and together. This study is still in its early stages since it looks at teacher competency and academic supervision as it relates to teacher performance, particularly at the high school level. It is believed that this research would help schools, particularly school administrators, enhance teacher performance by boosting competency and executing appropriate academic supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the principal's leadership style and work climate and its relationship with learning effectiveness at SMK N 1 Lais, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Design This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population in this study consisted of 42 teachers and 412 students. For the teacher sample, the entire population is taken so that it is called the research population. The research sample of students was taken by 15% of the 412 students, totaling 62 students. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is simple and multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test. In this study, the effectiveness of learning is the main target in improving the quality of education in general. In previous studies, more studied teacher performance factors as the focus of success. Therefore, increasing the effectiveness of learning needs serious attention from various parties, especially to improve factors related to learning effectiveness such as principals' leadership and work climate.
