Abstract

The Problems of this research were (1) the learning process was still dominated by the teacher (lecturing method); (2) the students got difficulties to understand the learning materials; (3) the students’ average score was below the minimum standard score 65; (4) the students werw less competent on effective and psychomotor aspects. The aim of this study was written to determine differences in cognitive learning competencies, affective, and psychomotor of the students who take STAD cooperative learning model aided with handout toward cognitive, affective, and psychomotor of the students who take conventional learning. This was a quasi experimental research. The population of this research was the students in class X of SMAN 3 Desa Empelu registered in Academic Year 2014/2015. By using random sampling technique, the students in class X2 was chosen an the experimental class, and those in class X1 was taken of 40 item which had been tried out previously, and observation sheet. The data was analyzed by using t-test and Mann Whitney U test. The result of the research indicated that the average score of the students on cognitive aspect in the experimental class was higher than that in the control class. The students’ competence on effective aspect in the experimental class was good, and in the control class was fair. The students’ competence on psychomotor aspect in the experimental class was good, and in the control class was fair. Thus, the use of STAD cooperative learning model assisted with handout affected the students’ learning competence in Biology at SMAN 3 Desa Empelu Keywords : Cooperative Learning Model, STAD, Handout, Student Competency

Abstract

Based on the information obtained from the Biology teacher at MAN 1 Merangin,the teacher has not analyzed the questions that have been used in the Final Semester Exam test for class X MAN 1 Merangin. This study aims to determine the quality of teacher-made Biology items for the 2021/2022 academic year based on validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminatory power, and effectiveness of distractors. This research approach uses descriptive quantitative research based on validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power and effectiveness of distractors. The validity of the items categorized as sufficient reaches 8% (2 items) the items are accepted. Reliability on questions that have a reliable index of 0.40 are in the low category. The level of difficulty in the questions in the medium category reaches 80% (20 items) the items are accepted. The differentiating power in the good category questions reached 8% (2 items), on the medium category questions it reached 64% (16 items) items were accepted. The effectiveness of distractors on the very good category found 12% (3 items), the good category items reached 44% (11 items) the items were accepted. The results showed that all questions had poor quality because they did not meet the standard criteria so that the questions were remade or revised. Keywords: Quality of items, Biology questions

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the learning carried out is still using a conventional approach so that communication only occurs in one direction which results in less active students in teaching and learning activities.Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of knowing the effect of the application of Natural Surroundings (JAS) on the learning outcomes of class X students at State Senior High School 9 Tanjung Jabung Timur in Biology Subjects. The type of research used is quantitative research with interview instruments, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. Researchers took the entire population as a sample. The total sampling is 68 students. 34 students of class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences 1 and 34 students of class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences 2. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the results of the normality test were obtained for the control class posttest sig 0.11˃0.05 and the experimental class posttest obtained sig 1.22˃0.05 so that can be concluded to meet the normal assumptions. The results of the homogeneity test are sig 1.79˃0.005, which means the data is homogeneous. The results of the hypothesis test are obtained with a value of sig (2 tailed) = 0.000˂0.005, which means the research can be accepted or there is an influence. In other words, the implementation of Neighborhood Exploration (JAS) at the Tanjung Jabung Timur 9 State High School is very good and appropriate, greatly affecting learning outcomes, as evidenced by the implementation of the Surrounding Nature Exploration (JAS) learning which shows an average of 86.2 experimental posttest and 66.3 posttest control or good category. This shows that there is an influence between the Surrounding Nature Exploration (JAS) approach to student learning outcomes in the class X ecosystem material at SMP Negeri 9 Tanjung Jabung Timur.Keywords: Exploring the Surrounding Nature, student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study to upgrade science learning outcomes by using learning think pair and share in MAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The research methods used s the method of action research. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur which consisted of 32 students and 1 teacher in charge of biology class XI MAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. This research uses Kurt Lewin design or model. While data collection is done by observation, test, interview, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the uses think pair and share model can improve student learning outcomes in the learning process. Improved student learning outcomes can be seen from the results of the test each cycle, student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 53% with the category low, while student learning in the second cycle amounted of 86% with the category high. Thus the results of the research in MAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur increased. Keywords: Think Pair and Share, Biology, Learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of the Reading Questioning and Answering (RQA) Learning Model on Student Biology Learning outcomes at Madrasah Aliyah As’ad Olak Kemang Jambi City. This research is a quantitative study using the Postest-Only Control Design while data collection is done with final test (Post-test). Analysis with ttest. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling with a sample 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The research data obtained the highest score in the experimental class was 95,7 and the lowest score was 48 with an average of 76 while in the control class the highest score was 95,7 and the lowest score was 43,5 with an average of 70,20. The ttest significant level of 5% = 1,672 and 1% = 2,394 obtained 1,672 < 2,447 >2,394. So tcount > ttable or HO is rejected and Ha is accepted with a large effect of 0,6 on the criteria beingthe persentage 38,2 %. Which means there is a significant difference between student learning outcomes using the Reading Questioning and Answering (RQA) Learning Model with those not using the Reading Questioning and Answering (RQA) Learning Model outcomes at Madrasah Aliyah As’ad Olak Kemang, Jambi City. Abstract

This thesis discusses how the learning activities of biology students who use video media applications use direct learning at Madrasah Aliyah Pamenang Barat for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a quantitative research using a one-group pretest-posttest design, while data collection is done by using an observation sheet technique. The sample is class XI A students, the data on the average score of student learning activities who do not apply video media at Madrasah Aliyah Pamenang Barat is 61.80. The average score for student learning activities using video media at Madrasah Aliyah Pamenag Barat for the first meeting was 78. The large influence of the application of video media on student learning activities is calculated using sample t-test test by obtaining a significant value of 2 Tailed 0.00, which is less than 0.5, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so the author can draw the conclusion that there is a significant influence There is a significant difference between the implementation of video media on student learning activities in class XI Madrasah Aliyah Pamenang Barat. Abstract

Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah di lakukan pada tanggal 29 Juli 2021 di temukan masih banyak kesulitan yang di hadapi para siswa apalagi di masa pandemi saat ini, Yaitu masalah kesulitan belajar. Penelitian ini bertempat di SMP 16 Kota Jambi populasi yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini ada 2 kelas , subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII D dan VIII E penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa belajar IPA pada masa pandemi covid-19 di SMP 16 kota jambi meliputi minat dan sikap sedangkan faktor eksternal meliputi lingkungan kesuarga, kesehatan dan kebiasaan belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan angket dan wawancara dokumentasi. Kata Kunci: Kesulitan belajar IPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Hambatan Pembelajaran Daring pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi di Kelas XI Matematika dan Ilmu Alam MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran daring memberikan kesulitan pada proses pembelajaran Biologi, hambatan yang dihadapi guru dan siswa saat serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan-hambatan proses pembelajaran daring yang dialami guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, analisis datanya menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan angket. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 36 siswa. proses pembelajaran di MAN 1 Muaro Jambi dilakukan secara daring. Dari hasil pengisian angket oleh siswa, sebagian besar siswa menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran daring memberikan hambatan terhadap proses pembelajaran Biologi, hambatan yang dialami guru yaitu jam pembelajaran daring berlangsung singkat, pemberian materi ajar yang terbatas, tidak dapat berinteraksi secara langsung dengan siswa, tidak semua siswa mempunyai Smartphone, pengambilan nilai siswa yang tidak lengkap. Hambatan yang dialami oleh siswa yaitu sinyal yang tidak stabil, materi pembelajaran yang sulit di pahami, tidak adanya praktikum, kuota internet yang boros, tugas pembelajaran yang menumpuk. Upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan yaitu pemberian kuota internet untuk belajar, guru teratur mengingatkan siswa untuk mengumpulkan tugas, memberikan kelonggaran absensi kepada siswa, guru dan pihak Madrasah menjadwalkan pengumpulan tugas. Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi dengan adanya permasalahan bahan ajar yang digunakan kurang memenuhi kebutuhan siswa dimana adanya bahan ajar yang materinya berisikan banyak teks kurang gambar membuat siswa bosan dalam memahami materi yang ada, kemudian sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman yang semakin canggih menuntut kita untuk membuat bahan ajar yang mudah diakses dalam penggunaannya dimana saja dan kapan saja. Desain bahan ajar yang di buat ini sesuai dengan karakteristik yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui validitas dan kepraktisan bahan ajar sistem gerak pada manusia berupa E-Magazine di Madrasah Aliyah Mahdaliyah Kota Jambi. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Dan dalam penelitian ini di batasi hanya pada tahap Development saja karena melihat waktu dan tenaga yang tidak memungkinkan untuk pada tahap Implementation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian nilai kevalidan dari dosen ahli desain yaitu sebesar 75%, dosen ahli materi sebesar 87,5%, dosen ahli bahasa sebesar 97,5%. Dan untuk tingkat kepraktisan dengan rincian rata-rata memperoleh sebesar 87% oleh siswa dan guru biologi 92,5%. Hasil tanggapan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Desain Bahan Ajar Sistem Gerak Pada Manusia Berupa E-Magazine Untuk Madrasah Aliyah Mahdaliyah Kota Jambi Valid dan Praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi kelas XI IPA. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendesain LKS untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kepraktisan LKS Biologi berbasis qur’ani pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan, untuk mengetahui hasil evaluasi peserta didik setelah menggunakan LKS berbasis qur’ani. Pengembangan bahan ajar berupa LKS berbasis qur’ani pada materi pencemaran lingkungan ini untuk kelas VII MTS N 8 Batang Hari yang mayoritas peserta didik nya beragama islam. Metodologi pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analisis (Analysis), tahap perancangan (Design), tahap pengembangan (Development),tahap implementasi (Implementation), dan tahap evaluasi (Evaluation). Nilai kevalidan oleh dosen ahli materi yaitu 3,29% dengan kriteia “Baik”, dosen ahli bahasa yaitu 4,08 % kriteria “Baik”, dosen ahli konten al-qur’an yaitu 4,33 % kriteria “Sangat Baik”, dan dosen ahli media yaitu 4,05 % kriteria “ Baik”. Respon dan hasil evaluasi peserta didik terhadap LKS berbasis qur’ani ini telah mencapai 4,35 % yaitu “sangat baik” dan data dari respon guru terhadap LKS mencpai “4,55 % yaitu dengan kriteria “Sangat Bagus”. Setelah dianalisi maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar LKS berbasis Qur’ani sangat layak dan praktis untuk digunakan. Peserta didik juga memberikan respon Sangat Bagus dan evaluasi hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di Mts N 8 Batang Hari telah mencapai nilai standar yang telah ditentukan.
