Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain the one group pretest-postest. Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Flipbook Terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Siswa Di SMP N 34 Tebo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Flipbook terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa di SMP N 34 Tebo. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIB pada mata pelajaran IPA Terpadu yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Dari pengumpulan lembar observasi keaktifan belajar siswa yang telah diperoleh, didapat nilai rata-rata sebelum diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media pembelajaran Flipbook sebesar 46.8%, sedangkan sesudah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan media pembelajaran Flipbook sebesar 67.2%. Hasil perhitungan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 12.72 tt 5% = 1.777 sedangkan tt 1% = 2.145. Setelah dianalisis maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Flipbook memiliki pengaruh terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VIIIB di SMP N 34 Tebo. Abstract

Zingiberaceae dikenal sebagai tanaman jahe-jahean merupakan famili dari tanaman berbunga monokotil yang terdiri dari sekitar 1600 jenis herba. Kandungan senyawa polifenol (kurkumin) dan minyak atsiri yang terdapat pada zingiberaceace memiliki aktivitas antiiflamasi, antimikroba, anti-diare, antivirus, dan antikanker. Masyarakat lokal (Jambi) telah memanfaatkan jenis-jenis Zingiberaceae sebagai bumbu masak, bahan kosmetik, dan obat tradisional. Penelitian tentang keragaman jenis-jenis Zingiberaceae di Provinsi Jambi belum banyak dilakukan, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis Zingiberaceae yang ada di Provinsi Jambi yang ditemukan di Pasar Tradisional dan Modern sebagai sumber informasi dasar pengembangan secara budidaya/ ekonomi. Studi obeservasi dilakukan dengan pencatatan secara langusng terhadap Jenis-jenis Zingiberaceace yang ada ditemukan di pasar tradisional dan pasar modern yang ada di provinsi Jambi. Data kemudian dibuat dalam bentuk tabulasi, selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Total 13 jenis Zingiberaceae yang ditemukan di pasar tradisional dan dari 13 jenis tersebut hanya ada 3 jenis saja yang juga ditemukan di pasar modern, yaitu: kunyit, kencur dan jahe merah. Bagian tanaman Zingiberaceae yang paling banyak dimanfaatkan adalah rimpang. Jenis-jenis famili Zingiberaceae yang umum dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Jambi adalah Kunyit, Kencur, Jahe Putih, Lengkuas, Kapulaga, Lempuyang, Temu Kunci, Jahe Merah, Bangle, Temu Putih, Temu Ireng, Kecombrang, dan Temulawak. Jenis-jenis tersebut sebagian besar digunakan sebagai obat tradisional dan bumbu masakan. Kata kunci: Pemanfataan, Zingiberaceae, Jambi, Tradisional, Modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian jenis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis data korelasi product moment yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar mikrobiologi terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tadris biologi angkatan 2019. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling, yaitu jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi, sehingga yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah mahasiwa semester 5 sebanyak 75 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari angkatan 2019 mahasiswa tadris biologi. Teknik pengumulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan skala sikap, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, dapat diketahui bahwa: 1) Hasil belajar mahasiswa tadris biologi semester 3 adalah 83, maka termasuk dalam interval 80 – 86, sehingga hasil belajar mahasiswa dikategorikan cukup baik. 2) Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat mahasiswa tadris biologi semester 5 mempunyai rata – rata 85, terletak pada interval 81 – 89 termasuk kategori cukup baik, dan 3) Dari hasil perhitungan korelasi pada angkatan 2019 diperoleh rxy = 0,740 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 5%, didapatkan nilai rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel ( 0,740 > 0,233) terletak pada interval koefisien 0,60 – 0,799 yang berarti mempunyai tingkat hubungan yang kuat, dan nilai signifikansi diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan analisis data terbukti bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar dengan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat mahasiswa tadris biologi Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kerinci.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA Terpadu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery learning di SMP Negeri 27 Tebo. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII B sebanyak 27 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 6 kali pertemuan terdiri dari 2 kali menerapkan model dan 1 evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain atau model Kurt Lewin sedangkan hasil belajar siswa diukur dengan menggunakan soal tes dan aktivitas siswa menggunakan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada siklus I pertemuan I menunjukkan 39% meningkat pada pertemuan II menjadi 60,48%, kemudian pada siklus II pertemuan I 68,76% meningkat menjadi 95,54%. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata siswa mengalami peningkatan mulai dari 63,15 (pra siklus) menjadi 71,67 pada siklus pertama (siklus I) dan meningkat lagi menjadi 80,7 pada siklus kedua (siklus II). Dengan demikian hasil penelitian di SMP Negeri 27 Tebo mengalami peningkatan

Abstract

Biological learning reveals scientific truths and can be carried out in a number of ways. Scientific enquiry or research, one of the methods that can be applied. a flawless and comprehensive system that takes into account every aspect of human existence, including scientific pursuits or research, has been provided through the Quran and Hadith. The Qur'an has shown a perfect blend as a source of inspiration for science. To make learning about biology more relevant, this research tries to connect and incorporate appropriate Quranic verses for it. This research was conducted using the library research method. The findings of this study show that incorporating Quranic verses into biology lessons has a high probability of success. Several biological sources show the connection between the topic of Qur'anic integration and biological education. The essential discussions in the Qur'an and biology subject matter are the same, but the language and explanations are presented differently.

Abstract

Education and teaching is a goal-conscious process. In the field of education, there is no doubt that the existence of the Al-Qur'an has influenced the education system of the Prophet and his companions. The Al- Quran can also provide inspiration and motivation in various aspects of life, including in the context of science learning. The purpose of writing this article is to identify some Al- Quran verses related to learning motivation to study science for students. The method used in this research is the literature review method by reviewing several articles related to the topics discussed in this study. The results of this study show that learning motivation is very important to be given to everyone, especially for students who are studying at school level. By understanding the Al- Quran messages about learning motivation in the context of science, students can explore spiritual wisdom and apply it in their journey to learn and understand the universe.

Abstract

In the field of education, evaluation of learning is a mandatory activity for every person who is involved in the field of education. As an educator, the learning evaluation process is useful in terms of future decision making for the progress of students in particular and the world of education in general. Formative evaluation is part of the teaching process. When incorporated into classroom practice, formative evaluation provides the information needed to adapt teaching and learning as the process occurs. In this sense, formative evaluation informs both teachers and students about a student's understanding at a point when adjustments can be made in due course. the purpose of this study is to see a description of the teacher in applying the formative-summative evaluation model in the learning process at school. This research was conducted at SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi using a qualitative descriptive method. In the end, the use of formative summative evaluation in science learning at SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi is quite effective because formative and summative evaluation is very useful for teachers and students.

Abstract

Education in 21st centuries is a technology-based learning that demands the creation of quality students in developing abilities in various skills. 21st century skills are divided into four categories including Ways ofthinking, Ways of working, Tools for working, Skills for living. Science is a discipline that has characteristics of scientific attitudes and practicums to achieve learning effectively and efficiency. The use of assessment in learning activities is a tool to see the development of students' skill abilities. This, of course, pays special attention to non-test evaluation instruments that are neglected in the affective and psychomotor assessment in science learning. The purpose of this study is to see the picture of science teachers in using non-test evaluation in the assessment of learning outcomes in the affective and psychomotor realms based on 21st century skills.The research method used is descriptive qualitative with observation techniques for data collection through questionnaires. The results showed that science teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Penuh were still low in using non-test evaluation instruments. The indicators showed that teachers have difficulty using non-test evaluation instruments, did not have time to prepare non-test evaluation instruments in the affective and psychomotor domains, and the conceptual assessment paradigm of the cognitive realm that is dominant in testing the abilities of learners in science learning activities.

Abstract

The objectives of this study is to develop learning resources in the form of Biology magazines on mushroom material for sudents of senior high school 3 Muara Bungo with valid categories. The type of this Research is Research and Devlopment. The model of Development used was four-D model which consists of define, design, and development. In the define stage conducted curriculum analysis , student analysis, task analysis, concept analysis. Design stage conducted by designing Biology magazine. Furthermore, in the development stage conducted expert validation, test of ten grade students MIA I and MIA II at senior high school 3 Muara Bungo. The research data of feasibility test was obtained by questionnaire of student’s response. The results of this study was questionnaire responses of then grade students MIA I and MIA II and has beech declared eligible with the pncentage of students who stated strongly agree with the magazine developed were 3,43%, students who agree were 7,84%, students who disagree were 0,5%, and students who strongly disagree were 0,21% based on theresults conducted it can be concluded Biology magazine on mushroom material for senior high school studnts were elegible to use.Keywords: Magazine, Mushroom, Four-D, Student

Abstract

This study aims to develop Ulead Studio Studio 11 based biology learning media on digestion system material and to know the validity, practicality and effectivity of instructional videos based on validation and field trials. This research is Research and Development (R & D) type. The development model used the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. To obtain the feasibility of learning video, used three tests analysis that are, validity tests, practicality test, and effectiveness test. Trial conducted at SMA YPWI Tanjung Pinang and SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi. The result of this study is a decent learning video based on the results of the assessment of design experts, material experts, language of 86.66%, 9.66%, 90% so that entered in the category is very valid. Then the results of the analysis of the teacher's practicality sheet stated that the developed media was included in the "Practical" category, and based on the 72% students' response stated that the media were "Practical". For the effectiveness test obtained an average of 76.6% and included the effective category. The results concluded that the development of Ulead Video Studio 11-based learning media is feasible to be used, practically and effectively applied to the material biology learning of the digestive system.
