Abstract

This study investigates the effect of a combination of manure and mycorrhiza on the quality and storability of tomatoes from the perspective of organic farmers in Lembang, utilizing a quantitative analysis with 140 samples. Data were collected using a Likert scale (1-5), and the analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that manure positively impacts fruit quality and storability, with a stronger effect on storability. Mycorrhiza had a more significant effect on fruit quality and also positively influenced storability. The study found that mycorrhiza is the more dominant factor in improving fruit quality, while manure plays a more significant role in enhancing storability. The findings provide important insights for organic farming practices in Lembang, suggesting that a combination of manure and mycorrhiza can effectively enhance both the quality and shelf life of tomatoes.

Abstract

Employee well-being has emerged as a critical focus within human resource management (HRM) research, driven by its direct impact on productivity, job satisfaction, and organizational success. This study explores recent research trends in employee well-being using a systematic literature review based exclusively on Scopus-indexed publications. The findings reveal that key themes in HRM well-being research include work-life balance, job satisfaction, burnout, leadership, digitalization, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The bibliometric analysis highlights the increasing role of psychological well-being, mental health support, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in shaping modern HRM strategies. Additionally, the growing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and technology in well-being management presents both opportunities and challenges for organizations. The discussion underscores the practical implications of well-being research for HRM practices, emphasizing the need for leadership training, personalized employee support programs, and ethical technology use. The study also identifies future research directions, including the long-term effects of remote work, AI-driven HR analytics, and cross-cultural perspectives on well-being interventions. By synthesizing existing literature, this research provides valuable insights for HR professionals, policymakers, and academics seeking to enhance employee well-being in dynamic work environments.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has raised significant ethical and social concerns, necessitating a systematic analysis of research trends in this domain. This study employs a bibliometric analysis using data from Scopus and visualization through VOSviewer to map the scholarly landscape of AI ethics. The analysis identifies key research themes, including algorithmic bias, data privacy, transparency, accountability, and trust, while highlighting emerging topics such as ChatGPT, adversarial machine learning, AI in education and healthcare, and sustainability. The co-authorship and country collaboration networks reveal a highly interdisciplinary and globally connected research community, with strong contributions from the United States, Germany, India, and China, but limited representation from the Global South. Findings indicate that AI ethics research is evolving beyond theoretical discussions to address real-world applications and governance challenges. The study underscores the need for more inclusive AI policies, interdisciplinary collaborations, and ethical AI governance frameworks to ensure responsible AI development. Future research should focus on bridging the gap between AI engineering and ethical oversight, regulating AI-driven misinformation, and expanding the global diversity of AI ethics discourse.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of ecotourism and cultural tourism research using data from Scopus and visualization through VOSviewer. The analysis identifies key research trends, influential scholars, and international collaborations that have shaped the academic landscape in these fields. The findings reveal that ecotourism research has evolved from a primary focus on environmental conservation and biodiversity to a broader integration of cultural heritage, economic sustainability, and digital transformation. Thematic clusters indicate a growing interest in climate change adaptation, stakeholder engagement, and smart tourism applications. Co-authorship and country collaboration networks demonstrate that the United States, China, Indonesia, and Malaysia lead in research output and international partnerships. However, some regions remain underrepresented in global research efforts. Challenges such as balancing conservation with tourism growth, ensuring economic viability, and fostering inclusive governance structures persist. The study underscores the need for interdisciplinary approaches, policy interventions, and technological innovations to enhance sustainable tourism development. Future research should focus on climate resilience, social entrepreneurship, and the role of digital technologies in responsible tourism practices.

Abstract

Drug abuse is a serious problem that requires attention and collaborative action from various parties, including the government, social institutions, and the community, especially the Traditional Village. This study aims to explore the role of the Bali Provincial Government and Traditional Villages in efforts to prevent and eradicate drug abuse. The research method used is normative law with a legislative approach and qualitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that the Bali Provincial Government has implemented various programs, such as collaboration with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), socialization to the community, strengthening regulations, and providing rehabilitation facilities for drug users. In addition, Traditional Villages play an important role in educating the community about the dangers of drugs, forming anti-drug cadres, and providing social support for individuals at risk. Cooperation between Traditional Villages and the government, as well as a cultural-based approach, are key to creating a safe and drug-free environment. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the government, institutions, and the community in overcoming drug abuse in Bali, in order to create a healthy society that is free from the dangers of drugs.

Abstract

This study explores a holistic approach to carbon trading by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain technology, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to address challenges in managing East Java’s protected forests. AI models were utilized to estimate carbon stocks with high accuracy, while blockchain ensured transparent and secure carbon credit transactions. GIS analysis provided real-time monitoring of forest dynamics and identified high-priority zones for carbon trading. The integrated framework demonstrated significant improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and stakeholder trust compared to traditional methods. The study concludes that this approach is a scalable and effective solution for enhancing carbon trading systems and contributing to sustainable forest management in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the application of geospatial mapping and predictive analysis in efforts to combat drug trafficking in Eastern Indonesia—a region characterized by complex geography and limited surveillance infrastructure. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with three key informants: a regional police officer, a representative of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), and a local community leader. The results reveal four central themes: the current state of drug trafficking in the region, the potential and underutilization of geospatial tools, the lack of predictive analytics at the regional level, and significant challenges such as limited infrastructure, lack of trained personnel, and poor inter-agency coordination. While the use of geospatial and predictive technologies remains nascent, stakeholders express optimism about their potential. The study highlights the need for context-specific strategies, local capacity-building, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to enhance data-driven interventions in narcotics control.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of a mobile application designed to prevent drug abuse among teenagers in Bandung City using a qualitative approach. The research involved five teenage informants aged 15–18 years who had used the application for at least one month. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that the application significantly increased awareness about the dangers of drug use, improved self-confidence in resisting peer pressure, and encouraged the sharing of knowledge within peer groups. Additionally, the app’s interactive and gamified features contributed to a positive learning experience. However, suggestions for improvement included the need for real-time support and more localized content. Overall, the study highlights the potential of mobile technology as an innovative tool in youth-focused drug abuse prevention efforts, especially when designed with user engagement and cultural relevance in mind.
