Abstract

This research explores the function of leadership in the digital age. Educational institutions, especially secondary schools, need to adapt to the rapid development of technology. The quality of education is important to keep pace with the high demand for human resources in the future. The Indonesian Ministry of Education states that there are four competencies (4C) that students must have in facing the digital era, namely critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, collaboration, communication. The quality of organizational leadership in the secondary school environment is determined by the leadership of the principal. This research concludes that school quality is determined by instructional and transformational principal leadership strategies. These two types of leadership can influence teacher performance indirectly through changes in school climate. Improved teacher performance has a direct impact on student performance. Thus, principals' instructional and transformational leadership strategies are the main factors in determining the quality of secondary school education in the digital era.

Abstract

This paper examines the legal remedies that can be taken by third parties against the decision to seize goods that do not belong to the defendant in corruption cases. The focus is on objections to asset forfeiture decisions by the Palembang District Court. The method used is Normative Legal Research with a Descriptive-Analytical approach, utilizing Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Legal Materials. Analysis is done qualitatively with deductive inference. The results show that a Good Faith Third Party can file a written objection to goods seized by the state. The owner or guardian of the goods must file an objection within two months after the verdict is pronounced. The Judge's consideration in giving the verdict is based on Supreme Court Regulation Number 2 of 2022, which regulates the procedure for resolving objections from third parties in cases of seizure of corruption assets. This research provides insight into the mechanism for protecting third party rights in the process of recovering state assets.

Abstract

The ability to develop assessment instruments is an integral part of pedagogical skills that are needed by teachers to achieve optimal learning outcomes, the reality in the field is that the implementation of learning evaluation is still conventional with paper and pencil test instruments, has not utilized technology, especially in science learning Indonesian Geographical Conditions material in class V, lack of understanding or teacher trust in the use of alternative instruments that in accordance with the learning model developed, so that the learning outcome data obtained by class V students is not so optimal. As many as 65% of the number of students have not been able to achieve learning goals, besides that students look less motivated and not excited when working on learning evaluations. The purpose of this study is to develop a Wordwall-based assessment instrument in the Modipaskogo E-Book (Geographical Conditions IPAS Module). The method used in this study is the research and Development (RD) Model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Based on data analysis and discussion, the conclusions of the Wordwall-Based Indonesian Geographical Conditions assessment instrument in the Modipaskogo E-Book are valid, reliable, very effective, and very practical to use.

Abstract

It and internal company conditions strongly influence company performance in the consumer sector. This study examines how macroeconomic and company characteristics affect corporate financial performance in consumer goods companies. This study's population now seems to be goods sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of the systematic sampling technique and data analysis methods using several regression analyses confirmed that macroeconomic factors had no significant effect on company performance. Significant company. The characteristic is the level of corporate debt. The level of debt leverage has a negative and significant impact on company performance, indicating that the higher the company's debt, the reduced the company's performance. The sample size of this study is confined to consumer goods companies, so it cannot be generalized to other business sectors.

Abstract

In May 2006, a mud eruption occurred in Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia, prompting the construction of embankments to contain the affected area. Due to the continuous eruption of mud, the embankment's storage capacity has reached its limit, and it has been raised continuously in stages. Unfortunately, underlying soft clay remains unreinforced, posing a risk of failure. Previous research results indicate that consolidation is still ongoing, and settlement is predicted to continue for decades. To address these issues, researchers used finite element method analysis, Plaxis 2D, to analyze the effects of embankment construction stages and consolidation processes on embankment stability. Research objectives include settlement, safety factors, and consolidation duration. The analysis results on the model are compared with journal findings (Whittle et al., 2022). Based on the research, it is found that with precisely the same input data, there are differences in safety factor and settlement values, but they exhibit similar behavior. After the validation process, it is obtained that a change from Undrained B drainage type to Undrained A is needed, with different data requirements. Effective cohesion (c') of 17 kPa and effective internal friction angle (') of 14 are used as new input data. The settlement and safety factor behavior based on this input data shows similar values. The largest differential settlement occurs at the middle of the embankment (X = 79 m), and the smallest is downstream (X = 40 m) when the construction reaches the fifth stage. The consolidation duration is 18,590 days with a predicted maximum settlement of 9.096 m
