Abstract

In the rapidly developing digital era, digital marketing has become an urgent need for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to survive and compete in an increasingly competitive market. MSMEs who do not adapt to technology in the digital era will risk losing their competitiveness, especially when their competitors succeed in optimally integrating digital marketing strategies. Digital marketing training is a strategic step in facing marketing challenges in the digital era, especially for MSMEs in rural areas. This article discusses the implementation of digital marketing training for MSMEs in Kampung Dayun, Dayun District, Siak Regency, as part of efforts to increase the competitiveness of local businesses. The method of implementing this activity is carried out using the workshop method. The main objective of this training is to equip MSMEs with knowledge and skills in utilizing digital technology to expand the market, increase marketing efficiency, and optimize regional economic potential. The results of the activity showed an increase in MSMEs' understanding of digital marketing strategies, such as the use of social media and e-commerce platforms. In addition, this training also encourages active community participation in promoting local products creatively and innovatively. It is expected that this digital marketing training can be a new forum for UMKM actors in Kampung Dayun to gain new knowledge to develop their businesses in this digital era.

Abstract

Kemampuan berbahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini menjadi kebutuhan esensial dalam era globalisasi, karena tidak hanya membuka akses ke informasi global, tetapi juga meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan sosial anak. Namun, metode pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan masih menjadi tantangan bagi pendidik. Anak-anak pada usia dini memiliki karakteristik belajar yang unik, seperti belajar melalui bermain dan aktivitas yang menyenangkan. Pendekatan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik ini dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Dalam konteks ini, penggunaan metode interaktif seperti bernyanyi, menggambar, membaca, dan berbicara dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Penerapan materi ajar interaktif tidak hanya bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris, tetapi juga membangun motivasi belajar yang tinggi melalui pendekatan berbasis permainan, lagu, cerita, dan aktivitas kinestetik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan materi ajar interaktif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Dasar Laboratorium UNG, khususnya untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata "My Family" pada siswa kelas 1. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang efektif dan menyenangkan bagi anak usia dini.

Abstract

Pasar Kawak is a traditional market located in Dukuh Ngasinan Etan, Gebang Village, Masaran District, Sragen. Pasar Kawak offers various types of traditional culinary, such as brambang asem, pecel pincuk, sego uleng, cendol dawet, and many more. Not only that, Pasar Kawak also presents various traditional entertainment in it, such as gejog lesung, traditional music, reog, and so on. This study aims to increase the existence of Pasar Kawak through social media and the creation of historical plaques. The methods used include information preparation, plaque creation, and article publication. The results are historical plaques installed around the market and articles about Pasar Kawak are published on social media, in order to increase the existence of Pasar Kawak to the wider community. This program is expected to increase the existence of visitors to Pasar Kawak as a center of local economy and culture in Sragen.

Abstract

Stunting in toddlers is a serious health problem in Indonesia, with a prevalence reaching 24.4% in 2021. Inadequate nutrition, especially in the first 1000 days of life, is the main factor causing stunting. This community service aims to improve mothers' understanding of the importance of providing exclusive breastfeeding and appropriate complementary foods (MPASI) as an effort to prevent stunting. The socialization activity was carried out in Rajeg Village, Rajeg District, Tangerang Regency, involving 50 participants consisting of mothers with toddlers and pregnant women. The methods used included pre-test, material, socialization, educational games, and post-test. The results showed a significant increase in understanding from 30% to 85% after participating in the program. Educational games proved effective in strengthening participants' understanding, with 95% reporting that this method was very helpful. As many as 80% of participants stated an increase in confidence in providing breast milk and MPASI, while 70% were committed to becoming agents of change in their environment. Challenges faced included difficulty understanding medical terms and the need for practical sessions on making MPASI. This activity successfully increased public awareness about the importance of Exclusive Breastfeeding and proper MPASI, with 85% of participants willing to participate in follow-up activities and monitoring. It is hoped that this increase in knowledge can contribute to reducing stunting rates in the area in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the potential of catfish cultivation through training activities for making catfish floss. So that it can increase the economic value of the harvest while reducing the risk of post-harvest decay when catfish production exceeds capacity. This study uses implementation methods that include: Identification and analysis of needs, licensing, program preparation, and implementation. The results of this study indicate an increase in community knowledge and skills on how to process catfish into floss, up to the packaging process. The conclusion in this study is that making catfish floss can be an effective solution in utilizing existing potential, and can improve the economy in the village.

Abstract

Biluhu merupakan salah satu daerah di Kabupaten Gorontalo yang berhadapan dengan Teluk Tomini. Daerah ini menjadi daya tarik wisatawan karena keindahan pantai dan laguna pesisirnya yang merupakan bagian dari kawasan wisata Biluhu Timur, serta objek wisata pantai lainnya di kawasan Teluk Tomini. Tempat wisata ini sangat menarik untuk dijadikan inspirasi bagi siswa SMA untuk menulis, karena Sekolah Menengah Atas umumnya menyelenggarakan program literasi yang melibatkan kegiatan membaca dan menulis. Pemanfaatan tempat wisata sebagai inspirasi penciptaan puisi merupakan program yang sangat bermanfaat bagi siswa SMA karena dapat menumbuhkan kreativitas menulis mereka. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk membekali siswa SMA dengan keterampilan memanfaatkan tempat wisata setempat sebagai inspirasi puisi, sehingga dapat menumbuhkan daya imajinasi dan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dalam Bahasa Inggris. Dalam pelatihan ini, dosen dari perguruan tinggi setempat memberikan materi pembelajaran kepada siswa untuk menjelaskan sesuatu dan memanfaatkan bahasa kiasan, imaji, dan unsur-unsur puisi lainnya dalam karya mereka. Terakhir, dosen meminta siswa untuk membacakan puisi yang telah mereka buat setelah melalui proses koreksi.

Abstract

Towilfiets - Authentic Javanese Village Cycling Tour is a typical antique cycling tour concept with a trip around villages and rice fields in Bantar Kulon Village, Sentolo, Kulon Progo. Tourists can feel and be directly involved with the lives of residents. Towilfiets offers visitors in addition to seeing the rural environment, including the historic bridge made by Ir Soekarno, namely the Bantar bridge, which connects Sleman Regency and Kulon Progo Regency which was built during the Dutch aggression. PKM aims to optimize marketing through social media. By realizing the great potential as a marketing medium, they create interesting and informative content that can attract the attention of potential tourists. One of the increasing number of followers and impressions on Towilfiets' TikTok account reflects the effectiveness of this move. The marketing strategy that we carry out in the form of marketing digitalization, branding, management, and web development is expected to become a leading tourist destination that can attract tourists. One of the strategic steps of website development specifically for Towilfiets. By creating a digital platform www.towilfiets.com, they provide access to information to prospective tourists about onthel bicycle tour tour packages, as well as other details that support the attraction of Towilfiets. The use of this technology is an indicator of success in achieving public awareness of these tourist destinations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak sosial, budaya, dan akademik yang dialami mahasiswa Indonesia asal Provinsi Gorontalo yang menempuh pendidikan tinggi di luar negeri dan di universitas terkemuka di Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada tantangan adaptasi, termasuk gegar budaya, seperti yang dicontohkan oleh pengalaman salah satu peserta, Wulan, selama studinya di Michigan State University. Penelitian ini mengkaji lebih lanjut pengalaman serupa dari sembilan peserta lainnya yang belajar di Sydney University, Monash University, Leicester University, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Indonesia, dan Institut Teknologi Bandung. Melalui analisis naratif, penelitian ini menyoroti penyesuaian budaya, interaksi sosial, dan integrasi akademik yang dihadapi oleh para siswa tersebut. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pada awalnya terdapat kesulitan seperti hambatan bahasa, perbedaan norma sosial, dan lingkungan akademik yang asing, siswa pada akhirnya beradaptasi dan mendapatkan pengalaman lintas budaya dan akademik yang berharga. Pengalaman-pengalaman ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pertumbuhan pribadi mereka tetapi juga berkontribusi pada institusi asal mereka melalui transfer pengetahuan dan perspektif global.

Abstract

One of the main causes of low reading and writing skills in Indonesia is the lack of access to books and adequate reading facilities. The availability of reading books and facilities at the Ngudi Ilmu Library in Warungpring Village, Pemalang is still very limited, resulting in low community literacy. Community service by the KKN Team 16 UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan in the form of upgrading the Ngudi Ilmu Library in Warungpring Village, Pemalang. The method of implementing this service uses a participatory method involving the KKN Team 16, the village, and the Warungpring community itself. The form of community service packaged in the Ngudi Ilmu Library upgrading program is divided into eight activities including, Coordination with the Village regarding the Library Upgrading plan, Field Observation regarding the condition of the Library, Implementing Library Cleanliness, Inventorying Library Books, Conducting Open Book Donations, Adding Books and Library Collections, Rearranging the Library, and Symbolic Inauguration of the Ngudi Ilmu Library in Warungpring Village.

Abstract

Background: Breast care must be introduced to mothers when the pregnancy enters the third trimester (gestational age >28 weeks), the midwife will prepare the mother both physically and psychologically to provide exclusive breastfeeding with breast care counseling. Breast care counseling includes breast and nipple hygiene, breast massage and bra use, all of which aim to increase breast milk production (Fajriani, 2021). Breast care takes the form of breast massage to improve blood circulation, caring for the nipples so they are clean and don't get sore easily. Breast care should be carried out as early as possible during pregnancy in an effort to prepare the shape and function of the breasts before lactation occurs. Lack of preparation for breast care can result in sucking problems in babies due to small or drooping nipples. Another consequence of this is that breast milk production is delayed and the cleanliness of the mother's breasts is not guaranteed, which can endanger the baby's health. The aim of this community service activity (PKM) is to provide education to mothers about breast care techniques. Method: This activity is carried out directly face to face with the target so that it is more effective, convincing and familiarizes the relationship between the instructor and the target as well as a faster response. Results: Mother understands the benefits of breast care and is able to demonstrate breast care techniques again. Conclusion: Explanations about breast care in the form of education and demonstrations provide many positive influences.
