Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengambil topik “Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Konsumen Terkait Iklan Yang Menyesatkan Menurut Undang Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999” Di Desa Lubuk Cemara Kecamatan Perbaungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai”. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, khalayak sasaran yang ditentukan untuk diberikan penyuluhan hukum adalah masyarakat di Desa Lubuk Cemara Kecamatan Perbaungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penyuluhan hukum ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terkait pentingnya perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen terkait iklan yang menyesatkan untuk menghindari terjadi kerugian bagi pihak konsumen disebabkan tindakan tidak bertanggung jawab yang dilakukan oleh pihak pelaku usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Aula Kantor Desa Lubuk Cemara Kecamatan Perbaungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, pada hari Jumat 23 Mei 2025 dimulai pada pukul 09.00 Wib sampai dengan pukul 12.00 Wib dengan pemateri dosen dari Fakultas Hukum Universitas Amir Hamzah Medan. Dihadiri oleh masyarakat Desa Lubuk Cemara, Bapak Kepala Desa Lubuk Cemara Kecamatan Perbaungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai beserta jajarannya. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diketahui bahwa masih banyak masyarakat di Desa Lubuk Cemara yang tidak mengetahui tentang adanya perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen terkait iklan yang menyesatkan dan masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui dan memahami tentang undang-undang nomor 8 tahun 1999, maka dengan adanya sosialisasi ini maka diharapkan bertambah wawasan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen terkait iklan yang menyesatkan menurut undang-undang nomor 8 tahun 1999.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS is a health problem in the world, including in Indonesia. he number of HIV/AIDS cases continues to increase from year to year. Adolescents are included in a group that is vulnerable to exposure to HIV/AIDS. As an effort to prevent and transmit HIV/AIDS can be done through health promotion. This activity aims to provide health promotion through outreach activities about HIV/AIDS to students at SMA Assanadiyah Palembang. The method used is using pretest and posttest. The results of community service activities showed an increase in knowledge about HIV/AIDS as seen from the increase in the score obtained. The conclusion of this activity is that counseling activities are easily accepted and increase knowledge about HIV/AIDS for students of SMA Assanadiyah Palembang.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem which is still one of the major challenges in Panglungan Village, Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency. This community service activity aims to decrease stunting rates through the formation of “Golden Classes” (Antistunting Families for a Healthy Prosperous Society) with an educational approach, health screening, and utilization of local potential in the form of turmeric, kelor, milk and chocolate as functional foods. Activities include extensions on stunting, anemia, and worms; screening hemoglobin levels in adolescents and pregnant mothers; examination of worms in toddlers; manufacturing training of processed nutritious foods (chocolate-chocolate noodles and turmeric-milk ice cream); as well as the development of e-complete educational applications. Results showed a prevalence of anemia of 42.1% in adolescents and 70% in pregnant mothers, as well as a diarrhea rate in toddlers of 26.9%. There was a significant improvement in the knowledge of the participants after the extension. Nutritious food training encourages family self-reliance in nutrition fulfillment as well as opening business opportunities. The e-complete innovation supports continuing education and monitoring of nutrition interventions. This program proves that the integration of educational approaches, technology, and local food utilization can be an effective strategy in the acceleration of stunting decline.

Abstract

This is an article about a community service activity conducted by the author at SMP Negeri 3, Gorontalo City. The goal of this activity was to improve the vocabulary skills of junior high school students and foster their creativity in language. The method of the activity was to introduce vocabulary for each object in nature. Then, they were guided to compose a simple poem using the vocabulary they had learned. They then wrote the poem in their notebooks, keeping it as a memory and study resource. As a result, they were able to master vocabulary and compose it into a simple poem.

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis or better known as rheumatism is a progressive autoimmune disease with chronic inflammation that attacks the musculoskeletal system but can involve organs and body systems as a whole. The purpose of this activity is to provide health education about rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatic exercises. The method of implementing this Community Service Program is community education in the form of health counseling, evaluated by pre-test and post-test The method of implementing the service is by providing Rheumatic Exercises. The number of participants who attended was 30 people, 2 of whom were students. The activity started from the planning, implementation, evaluation, to the preparation of the report. The results of the joint pain scale before the intervention were obtained in the elderly who experienced mild pain as many as 2 people (6.7%), moderate pain 27 people (90.0%), and severe pain 1 person (3.3%). Meanwhile, the results of the joint pain scale after the intervention were found to have changed, where there were no more elderly people experiencing severe pain and moderate pain, elderly people experiencing mild pain were 28 people (93.3%) and no pain were 2 people (6.7%). It is hoped that this activity can be a health promotion strategy in the prevention and control of rheumatoid arthritis.

Abstract

Hypertension is the leading cause of premature death worldwide. Based on the results of a survey in RW 001, Poris Gaga Village to 87 heads of families, hypertension is the disease with the most sufferers (70.7%). The majority of people have insufficient knowledge about hypertension (77%), poor behavior towards hypertension (79.7%), poor attitudes towards hypertension (51.7%), irregular taking of hypertension medication (51.7%). The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) activity is to increase the knowledge and compliance of the community in Poris Gaga Village, Batu Ceper District, Tangerang City Regency regarding the importance of controlling hypertension through an understanding of hypertension and compliance with treatment. The methods used include: lectures, interactive discussions, providing information through educational media in the form of leaflets and measuring aspects related to hypertension through pre-tests and post-tests. The results obtained were an increase in all three aspects, including: good knowledge (72.1%), good attitudes (59.8%), and good behavior (36.8%) regarding hypertension after health education was carried out.

Abstract

Parenting is very important for children because it determines how the child's journey and destiny will be in the future so that all behavior, actions, values, morals, rules, and beliefs held by children are influenced by the role of parents in educating. However, this is different in the real world, many parents are not aware of their role as figures who are dependent on children so that they become anarchic, destructive figures, and carry out other negative behaviors. The problem of parenting also occurs in Pertiwi 34 Patemon Kindergarten where many parents lack knowledge related to parenting so that many parents unknowingly apply parenting patterns that are not good for child development. Community service is carried out in the form of Socialization through Power Point media. The presentation of material on "Democratic Parenting" was presented by the Community Service Team. After the presentation, the guardians asked questions related to the material "Democratic Parenting" to the community service team. This socialization activity was carried out on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The activity was carried out at Pertiwi 34 Patemon Kindergarten which was attended by 54 guardians. Parents participated in the activity enthusiastically and paid attention during the activity.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the operational performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through mentoring on green innovation strategies and the adoption of environmentally friendly behavior. MSMEs, as drivers of the local economy, face challenges in operational efficiency, waste management, and a lack of awareness of environmental sustainability. The training was conducted on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Hotel Berlian Bengkalis, involving 21 MSME participants from various business sectors. The methods used included interactive material delivery, group discussions, practical simulations, and the formulation of environmentally friendly action plans. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants’ understanding of green innovation concepts, energy efficiency, plastic waste reduction, and the use of eco-friendly packaging. Participants also demonstrated a strong commitment to adopting sustainable business practices in their daily operations. This activity proves that participatory-based education can serve as an effective means of fostering environmental awareness among MSMEs.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penyelenggaraan kegiatan pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan desa Lubuk Cemara Perbaungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai Provinsi Sumatera Utara yaitu untuk memberikan pengetahuan yang memadai tentang pelaporan keuangan desa sesuai dengan standar akuntansi yang berlaku dan memberikan pelatihan penyusunan laporan keuangan desa. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2025 di Desa Lubuk Cemara Perbaungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 10 peserta, meliputi kepala desa, sekretaris desa, bendahara, kasi, kaur, pendamping, tenaga administrasi dan perwakilan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan yaitu ceramah, tutorial dan diskusi. Kegiatan pelatihan berjalan lancar dan para peserta antusias dalam mengikuti materi. Masyarakat juga merasakan pentingnya pelatihan ini karena akan meningkatkan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan keuangan desa.

Abstract

Pemanenan air berfungsi sebagai intervensi krusial untuk mengatasi tantangan kelangkaan air di daerah pedesaan, terutama di wilayah yang mengalami perubahan iklim yang signifikan. Melalui teknik seperti pemanenan air hujan dan penggunaan sistem canggih untuk penangkapan air yang efisien, masyarakat pedesaan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan mereka terhadap dampak buruk kekeringan dan pola curah hujan yang tidak menentu. Hal ini penting karena banyak daerah pedesaan menghadapi penurunan pasokan air akibat perubahan siklus hidrologi dan meningkatnya permintaan air. Kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk Mensosialisasikan metode pemanenan air hujan untuk alternative sumber air bersih di masyarakat, Mengupayakan penerapan teknologi PAH dalam rangka memudahkan masyarakat memperoleh sumber air selain penggunaan sumur bor. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan simulasi penggunaan peralatan PAH pada kelompok masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan simulasi penerapan metode Panen Air Hujan (PAH) dengan menggunakan metode penampungan air hujan maka diperlukan pendampingan pada masyarakat baik dalam proses pembuatan hingga pemanfaatan air hujan hasil panen air hujan. Untuk tingkat yang lebih baik, maka perlu membawa hasil pengabdian ini pada kegiatan KKN mahasiswa agar memberikan manfaat bagi kedua belah pihak. Untuk kepentingan pengembangan keilmuan maka diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk metode-metode terbaru yang lebih sederhana, ekonomis dan mudah dilaksanakan pada masyarakat.
