Abstract

One of the factors that plays a role in students' career planning is local culture. In the Kuranji environment, there are students facing obstacles in career planning. Therefore, the aim of this research is to understand the role of local culture in the career decisions of students at SMAN 16 Kuranji Padang. The research method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), a type of research that involves active participation of participants in the research process, from planning to implementation and evaluation. Data is obtained through direct participation with the research subjects. After obtaining the data, descriptive analysis will be conducted. The research results indicate that the local culture influencing students' career plans includes: the role of parents in supporting students' career plans, learning awareness demonstrated by students' discipline in attending classes on time, communication skills of students with parents and peers, and self-esteem and confidence to plan for a better career.

Abstract

Multicultural counseling is an important approach in guiding adolescent development that takes into account cultural diversity. Culture as a whole system of ideas, actions and results of human work, plays a central role in adolescent development. This research aims to find out how a multicultural counseling approach can encourage the development of adolescents with culture. The research method used is a literature review study. However, this literature review study summarizes the understanding of multicultural counseling, adolescent development, and the role of culture in the context of this development. The results show that a multicultural counseling approach is not just a method, but also a deep philosophy that embraces cultural diversity to guide adolescents toward sustainable emotional, social, and psychological maturity. In conclusion, the integration of a multicultural counseling approach not only supports teenagers in responding to cultural diversity, but also forms individuals who are more tolerant, inclusive and ready to face an increasingly complex world.

Abstract

Enculturation is a concept needed in the era of globalization and modernization in maintaining and maintaining existing cultural diversity. Each individual has different cultural elements that are interrelated with each other. Thus, each individual cannot be separated from cultural elements, as well as in the process of cross-cultural counseling. So through the literary riview method, the concept of enculturation is studied and examined more deeply in cross-cultural counseling, resulting in a statement that this concept is a necessity that is needed in the cross-cultural counseling process, because cultural elements have unity and attachment to one another, both in terms of knowledge, arts, crafts, morals, laws, and customs. So that it can help the counseling service process become more effective.

Abstract

The issues faced by Lecturers and Students of Islamic Education (PAI) at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar include the suboptimal understanding in preparing teaching materials during field learning practices in schools. Considering the importance of interactive learning media to assist the learning process in schools, there is a need for training in creating interactive video-based learning media through training activities. This training is conducted with the aim of enhancing the knowledge and skills competence of Lecturers and Students of PAI at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar as prospective teachers who require skills in creating interactive digital-based learning media. This community service activity is carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method through training activities involving Lecturers and Students. The implementation consists of three stages: (1) pre-activity, (2) activity implementation, and (3) evaluation of the implementation. The results of this activity indicate an improvement in the competence of lecturers and students of Islamic education at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar in utilizing technology to support the learning process, particularly in creating creative, innovative, and interactive learning videos.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period between childhood and adulthood, during which time they are looking for their identity and therefore need the right assistance. One thing that is done is to develop the character profile of Pancasila students with teenage wirid. This teenage wirid is not only for reciting the Koran but also for carrying out religious activities, both obligatory and sunnah. The method used is community education, namely counseling to educate teenagers and provide understanding to develop the character profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kegiatan Forum Annisa, kendala-kendala dalam pembinaan karakter siswa perempuan dan upaya sekolah dalam mengatasi kendala pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Forum Annisa di SMAN 1 Lintau Buo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data ada dua yaitu data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Kemudian teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Lintau Buo karena banyak siswa perempuan yang mengikuti kegiatan Forum Annisa sehingga menjadi perhatian kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Forum Annisa berperan dalam membina karakter siswa perempuan yaitu karakter religius dan karakter disiplin. Siswa merasakan dan mengalami perubahan sikap kearah yang lebih baik. Adapun kendala-kendala dalam pembinaan karakter siswa perempuan melalui kegiatan eksrtakurikuler Forum Annisa yaitu sanksi yang kurang tegas untuk siswa perempuan yang tidak mengikuti kegiatan dan kurang disiplin dalam memulai kegiatan. Upaya sekolah untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut yaitu memberikan sanksi yang tegas kepada siswa perempuan yang tidak mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Forum Annisa dan pembina lebih disiplin dalam memulai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tersebut.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out about activities to develop the art of reading the Al-Qur'an, which is one of the extra-school activities whose aim is to develop and improve students' recitation skills so that they are able to read the Al-Qur'an well, correctly according to the rules and are able to reciting the rhythm in reading the Koran. This research is training research (Skills). As for the results of the research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that the implementation of coaching the art of reading the Al-Qur'an in improving students' recitation skills at MAN 1 Tanah Datar Plus Skills is still not good, because the implementation is still not running effectively and there are still many obstacles that occur. in these activities. The obstacles in improving recitation skills are, there are still students who are not fluent in pronouncing letters or makharijul letters, as well as recitation, there is no special supervision from the school, then there is a lack of interest and motivation of students, which at the beginning of this activity was held by many. come. Then, only one or two students took part who were serious about taking part. Efforts that must be made are providing motivation and strict supervision from the school for these activities. As well as instilling a sense of love for the Al-Qur'an in students so that they are more enthusiastic in participating in training in the art of reading the Al-Qur'an

Abstract

This research was conducted at the UMKM noodle and dumpling skin factory "Gelora" Sidorahayu Village, Wagir District. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the impact that the UMKM noodle and dumpling skin factory "Gelora" had after receiving socialization on simple bookkeeping including cash in and out reports, profit and loss reports and marketing strategy assistance including product photos, product price list designs and business logo designs. initiated by the 213 KKM UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang group, Sidorahayu Village. The author found the fact that the owner only carried out rough and unsystematic calculations regarding cash inflow and outflow and calculating product selling prices. The same thing also happened with the marketing strategy carried out by the owner which was less than optimal in implementing an effective marketing strategy to increase sales volume. The author hopes that after this socialization process the owner will be able to implement a better and more systematic bookkeeping system and also a marketing strategy that is suitable for the business base for the sustainability of this UMKM business.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the interest of children at the Bahrul Ulum Quran Education Park (TPQ) in learning using the memorization and play method. With the title "The Interest of TPQ Bahrul Ulum Children Using the Memorization and Play Method."The research method used is an experiment with a pre-post test design and a control group.Learning with the memorization and play method was implemented in the experimental group, while the control group received conventional learning. Data were collected through observation to assess the level of children's interest in learning. The research results show that the children of TPQ Bahrul Ulum exhibit a higher level of interest in learning using the memorization and play method compared to conventional learning. The conclusion of this research is that the memorization and play method is effective in increasing the interest of TPQ children in learning. Recommendations for future learning activities involve the broader application of this method, with an emphasis on creative and interactive aspects. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of learning approaches that can enrich the learning experiences of children in TPQ, supporting the development of the quality of religious education in that environment.

Abstract

A healthy and balanced diet is very important in preventing non-communicable diseases and maintaining ideal body weight. However, public awareness and understanding, especially adult women as the main determinant of family food consumption, are still limited. This study aims to determine the increase in knowledge of adult women and to determine the nutritional status of adult women in the Nirwana Aren Jaya Cluster. The method used is health education in the form of interactive lectures with poster and leaflet. To assess the increase in knowledge, a pre-test and post-test were conducted, as well as Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements to assess nutritional status. A total of 18 respondents participated in this activity in full. The results showed a statistically significant increase in knowledge, with an average pre-test score of 7.11 and a post-test of 8.5 (p-value = 0.019). BMI measurements showed that 55.6% of respondents were in the obese category, 22.2% were overweight, and 22.2% had normal nutritional status. This study proves that nutritional education delivered through simple visual media can effectively increase mothers' knowledge about the importance of consuming healthy foods. This can be an initial step in efforts to improve diet and reduce the risk of obesity in the community. Consistent and easily accessible education is needed to form long-term behavioral changes for improving quality of life. The conclusion of this activity is an increase in knowledge in adult women and knowing the nutritional status with a high obesity category in adult women.
