Work character is a critical issue for vocational high school students in addition to their knowledge and competencies. This study described the level of work character readiness of vocational high school students' during the Covid-19 outbreak. The subjects of this study were third-grade vocational high school students in five vocational high schools at Padang City in the spectrum: (1) fisheries and marine, (2) business and management, (3) performing arts, (4) tourism, and (5) information and communication technology. Respondents were 75 students consisting of 40 females, and 35 males were selected using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. Instrument development refers to two indicators, namely moral character and work character. The instrument was validated by experts and through validity and reliability testing. The results testing showed that validity and reliability with the respective rho count 0.927> rho table 0.648 and r results in 0.907> r table 0.514. Data analysis used simple statistics to determine the respondent's level of achievement level (RAL) from the readiness of male and female students' moral and work characteristics. The results showed that the achievement level of job readiness of vocational high school students in Padang city had reached 85.5%. The result of this study has inference that the distance learning system (online learning) during the Covid-19 pandemic did not harm the readiness of the work character of vocational high school students.

Abstract

In the context of Natural Science lessons, students often lack critical thinking skills. To address this challenge, the researchers developed the ÔÇ£I Can AdaptÔÇØ scientific module for students at SMP Negeri 10 Magelang. This study evaluates the moduleÔÇÖs viability, efficacy, and practicality using a research and development (R&D) approach based on the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The expert validation process confirmed the moduleÔÇÖs validity, with material experts rating it at 4.0 and teaching materials experts at 4.2. To assess efficacy, the researchers employed a one-group pretest-posttest design with paired sample t-test analysis. The results revealed a significant increase in critical thinking skills (p < 0.05), as indicated by a significance value of 0.00. The average N-Gain score of 0.83 falls within the high category. Furthermore, student questionnaires related to the RIAS-based science modules demonstrated a practicality level of 84.6%. Overall, the findings support the use of the ÔÇ£I Can AdaptÔÇØ RIAS-based science module as an effective tool for enhancing critical thinking abilities. ┬á

Abstract

This research is motivated by the movement to spread extreme ideology increasingly facilitated by the existence of new media as a tool to inform, propagandize, and spread radical ideas. To overcome this, efforts to voice a moderate way of religion (religious character) are needed. The implementation of a system to fortify students from extremist Islamic groups is done through the implementation of maÔÇÖhad. This study aims to determine, analyze the characteristics, and construct the formation of religious character in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia. Applying qualitative research method, the data were collected .from the field based on observations and interviews and library data deriving from books, scientific articles (journals), research reports, etc. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that the characteristics of religious character in MaÔÇÖhad Al-JamiÔÇÖah PTKIN throughout Indonesia can be identified by looking at intact faith, diligently performing worship, and having noble character. The role of MaÔÇÖhad Al-JamiÔÇÖah in constructing religious character values in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia is very strategic. This research contributes to PTKIN in Indonesia in accepting and graduating a very large number of students. The process of forming religious characters in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia can be said to run simultaneously, namely through taÔÇÖlim activities, moderate insights, habituation of ubudiyah, and enactment of rules because maÔÇÖhad has designed various religious activities in it in an integrated and continuous manner, aka becoming a daily routine.

This study was carried out in a State Senior High School 1 Metro Lampung. A rating rubric was used to collect data on students' speaking skills. The rubric followed the HarrisÔÇÖ rating scale which speaking skills were focused on five variables: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.┬á The blended learning model enabled students examine their knowledge through engaging involvement in learning, leading to student-centered teaching and learning activities. The results indicated that the LMS-based app https://www.e-ajar.com/ and class activities for 11th grade students in English with speaking skills at State Senior High School 1 Metro Lampung have increased students' English-speaking skills. This is seen in the development of scores and the improvement in the minimum percentage of completion in each cycle, where students' English pronunciation and grammar have significantly improved. Researchers used the Brog and Gall model development method with 5 stages, namely potential problems, data collection, product design, product validation, and design revision. The research instruments used in this study were aggressive behavior scales and interview guidelines. The subjects in the study were 123 students in class VIII of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Depok. The results in the development are measured based on the assessment of the material expert test getting a score of 91.4 with a very good category. The media expert test scored 87.5 with a very good category, the service expert test/practical expert test scored 93.75 with a very good category. Based on some of these statements, it can be concluded that the engklek kedamaian game in group guidance to reduce the aggressive behavior of class VIII students at Muhamadiyah 3 Depok Junior High School is categorized as suitable for use. Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of knowledge integration within the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman, aiming to address the issue of dichotomy and the trend of knowledge development that leads to multi, inter, and transdisciplinary approaches. The research aims to analyze the implementation of knowledge integration in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepulauan Riau. Employing a qualitative research design with an interpretative approach, the research subjects include the chairperson, secretary, and lecturers of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepulauan Riau. Data collection is conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out descriptively with stages of condensation, display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The research findings reveal the following: Firstly, the rationale behind the implementation of knowledge integration is evident across multiple levels. At the paradigmatic level, this commitment is observed through the integration of knowledge via the program's vision, mission, and motto. The policy level is enacted through leadership regulations, while at the program level, implementation occurs solely through seminars hosted by STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepulauan Riau. Notably, the Islamic Religious Education Study Program has not pursued comparable endeavors. Secondly, the implementation of knowledge integration is discerned through its practical implementation in education and teaching. However, a comprehensive analysis demonstrates that aspects of planning, execution, and learning assessment have yet to encompass the philosophical, material, methodological, and evaluative levels.
