Abstract

This study aims to analyze traditional training methods in human resource management development and to examine the relevance of experiential learning as an alternative approach to improving employee competence and performance. This study employs a literature review using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained from journals, books, and scientific articles relevant to traditional training, experiential learning, and human resource development. Data were analyzed using content analysis by identifying, comparing, and interpreting findings from various sources. The results indicate that traditional training methods remain relevant as they provide employees with structured conceptual understanding and foundational knowledge. However, these methods have limitations in fostering active participation and direct application in the workplace. Experiential learning can complement traditional training because it emphasizes direct experience, reflection, conceptual understanding, and active application. The implications of this research suggest that organizations need to integrate traditional training with experiential learning so that employee development programs become more effective, participatory, and practical.

Abstract

This study aims to examine speech in the short film Anak Lanang (2017) by Wahyu Agung Prasetyo using a sociolinguistic pragmatic approach. The purposes of this study are to identify the types of speech acts based on Austin and Searle's theories, to analyze speech events using Dell Hymes' SPEAKING components, and to uncover the social functions reflected in dialogues in the Javanese Yogyakarta dialect. The research method employs qualitative data analysis with observation, note-taking, and dialogue transcript techniques. The findings reveal that the film dialogues contain five types of illocutionary speech acts, namely assertives, directives, expressives, commissives, and negative assertives, along with code-switching phenomena from Javanese to digital terminology. The informal setting on top of a becak creates egalitarian speech, while cross-generational interaction emerges through the dynamics of authority. Five social functions identified include social solidarity, family identity expression, behavioral regulation, cultural value transmission, and social reality reflection. These findings confirm that speech in the film constitutes a complex social action reflecting the dialectic between Javanese local traditions and digital modernity.

Abstract

This study examines the construction of religious values in child parenting in the digital era through the development of an Islamic Digital Parenting model based on Tafsir al-Mishbah and Albert Bandura’s modeling theory. The study is motivated by the increasing challenges of digital parenting, which are not merely related to controlling children’s use of technology, but also to the internalization of religious values in children. This research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method and a thematic Qur’anic interpretation (tafsir maudhu’i) approach. The material objects of the study include Q.S. Al-Ahzab [33]:21, Q.S. Luqman [31]:13–16, and Q.S. Yunus [10]:99 as interpreted in Tafsir al-Mishbah by M. Quraish Shihab, while the formal object of the study is Albert Bandura’s modeling theory. Data were collected through documentation studies and analyzed using qualitative content analysis through the stages of data reduction, thematic categorization, interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The findings reveal that Q.S. Al-Ahzab [33]:21 represents the value of exemplary conduct, Q.S. Luqman [31]:13–16 emphasizes tauhid and moral education, and Q.S. Yunus [10]:99 highlights responsible freedom of attitude. These three values are integrated with the stages of modeling, retention, reproduction, and motivation in Bandura’s theory, thereby forming an Islamic Digital Parenting framework that emphasizes parental role modeling, the strengthening of moral awareness, and the development of children’s responsibility in digital spaces. This study concludes that Islamic digital parenting positions technology as a medium for the internalization of religious values through exemplification, dialogue, and the cultivation of children’s spiritual awareness.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) in guaranteeing and controlling the quality of community education at Majlis Ta’lim Musala Al-Khatb Barokah. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of QA is carried out through community needs-based program planning, setting learning material standards, and periodic evaluation of activity implementation. Meanwhile, the implementation of QC is realized through direct supervision of the learning process, monitoring congregation attendance, and assessing the quality of material delivery by teachers. However, the implementation of QA and QC still faces obstacles in the form of limited human resources, a less than optimal documentation system, and the absence of standard operating procedures. The discussion shows that these conditions have not yet contributed to improving the quality of community education, but still require strengthening in the aspect of quality management systematization to be more effective, measurable, and sustainable

Abstract

This study examines Red Bull's global branding strategy and how it has built one of the most powerful and distinctive international brand images in the history of fast-moving consumer goods. Using a qualitative systematic literature review methodology, this research synthesizes findings from eight empirical sources to analyze the mechanisms through which Red Bull transformed from a niche Austrian energy drink itself adapted from a Thai working-class tonic called Krating Daeng into a global lifestyle brand present in 166 countries. The study is grounded in Global Branding Theory, Brand Identity Theory (Aaker), Experiential Marketing Theory (Schmitt), and Social Identity Theory. Key findings reveal that Red Bull's brand image construction rests on four unconventional strategic pillars that collectively challenge every assumption of conventional consumer goods marketing: a deliberate refusal to use traditional advertising channels (television, radio, billboards) in favor of experiential and viral marketing; the creation and sponsorship of extreme sports events that embed the brand into a globally recognized lifestyle identity; a low-budget guerrilla marketing philosophy that generates disproportionate brand awareness through non-verbal consumer psychology; and the Red Bull Stratos stratospheric jump of 2012 arguably the most watched live marketing event in history with over 8 million simultaneous YouTube viewers which demonstrated that brands can generate earned media worth an estimated USD 100 million through a single experiential activation. The study further confirms that Red Bull's association with Formula 1 racing represents its strongest brand association among consumers globally, with 35.42% of surveyed consumers identifying F1 as their primary Red Bull brand association. This study concludes that Red Bull's global brand image success is not the result of spending more on marketing than competitors, but of spending differently investing in experiences, content, and cultural moments that make consumers feel they belong to something larger than a beverage category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Jakpreneur Program for MSMEs assisted by the Sub-Department of Community Empowerment, Women and Child Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP), as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of the Jakpreneur Program has been carried out fairly well and in accordance with the established policy framework, as analyzed through Edward III’s policy implementation model, which includes communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The communication aspect has been relatively effective and systematic, although limitations remain due to the insufficient number of facilitators. In terms of resources, budget availability, facilities, and authority are generally adequate, but constraints persist in the number of facilitators and participants’ digital literacy. The disposition of implementers reflects a strong commitment, while the bureaucratic structure is supported by clear standard operating procedures, although inter-agency coordination has not yet been fully optimized.

Abstract

This study examines the role of QR Code-based ordering systems in improving service quality and operational efficiency in Food and Beverage (FB) Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), using Mie Gacoan as a case study. The research employs a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review of six relevant studies published between 2022 and 2025. The findings indicate that QR Code-based ordering systems reduce customer waiting times, minimize order recording errors, and enhance employee productivity by streamlining the ordering process. In terms of service quality, the technology supports key SERVQUAL dimensions, including responsiveness, reliability, and tangibles, while improving overall customer experience. Furthermore, the system contributes to more efficient operational workflows and better resource utilization. Despite these benefits, challenges such as varying levels of digital literacy and initial technology investment remain important considerations. This study provides insights into the potential of digital ordering systems to support service and operational improvements in FB MSMEs.

Abstract

This Field Work Practice (PKL) was conducted at SmilingKids Foundation Medan, focusing on assisting a child with leukemia who had temporarily dropped out of school due to long-term medical  treatment and the family's economic limitations. The practice aimed to apply the individual social work method (case work) to improve the client’s social functioning through the stages of assessment, planning, intervention, monitoring, evaluation, and termination. The methods used included observation, interviews, and documentation studies to identify the client’s social, psychological, and economic conditions, as well as the available support systems. The assessment results indicated that the client’s health condition and financial difficulties had negatively affected access to education, learning motivation, and social interaction. The intervention, consisting of a homeschooling program combined with psychosocial support, successfully improved the client’s basic academic skills, self-confidence, and enthusiasm for learning. The monitoring and evaluation process showed that the program had a positive impact on the child’s academic and psychosocial development. Therefore, it can be concluded that the case work approach through a homeschooling program is an effective social intervention in helping children with cancer maintain their right to education while enhancing their overall social functioning.

Abstract

This study aims to dissect in depth the nature of philosophy and its scope of study as the foundation of scientific thinking. As the "mother of all sciences," philosophy plays a crucial role in guiding humans to think critically, radically, and systematically amidst the rapid development of science and technology. The method used in this paper is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach. The focus of the discussion encompasses the definition of philosophy both etymologically and terminologically, the characteristics of philosophical thinking, and the three main pillars of the philosophy of science: ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The results of the study indicate that philosophical understanding is not merely an abstract theory, but an analytical tool for understanding the nature of truth, the methodology of acquiring knowledge, and the moral responsibility in utilizing science for civilization.

Abstract

The infancy period (0-2 years) is a critical phase in human development characterized by rapid growth and development across multiple domains, including physical-motor, cognitive, language, social-emotional, moral, and religious aspects. This period is often referred to as part of the "golden age" because the child's brain develops very rapidly and the formation of personality foundations and basic abilities occurs fundamentally. This literature study aims to comprehensively analyze the various dimensions of child development during infancy from the perspective of developmental psychology, as well as to identify its implications for early childhood education and parenting. The method used is a qualitative approach through literature study by analyzing various relevant scientific sources. The results of the study indicate that development during infancy is holistic and interrelated across aspects, thus requiring appropriate, continuous stimulation based on an understanding of developmental psychology so that children's potential can develop optimally. The role of the family, especially parents, is a dominant factor in the success of children's growth and development in this phase.
