Abstract

This research aimed to understand and describe the effectiveness of poverty alleviation efforts by the Social Affairs Agency in Gorontalo City. The approach used was qualitative, specifically descriptive research. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. Primary data was obtained through interviews with key informants such as the Head of the Program Subdivision from the Social Affairs and Community Empowerment Agency of Gorontalo City, members of the Social Empowerment, Institutional, and Poverty Alleviation Division from the same agency, and 9 beneficiary families (KPM) of the poverty alleviation program. The research findings indicate that poverty alleviation efforts by the Social Affairs Agency in Gorontalo City, measured through four indicators: program targets, program socialization, program achievement, and program monitoring. have been effective. The results show that the efforts to alleviate poverty by the Social Affairs Agency in Gorontalo City have increased the community’s welfare and have been optimally sustained. Considering the achievement of the four effectiveness indicators, namely program targets, program socialization, program achievement, and program monitoring, the poverty alleviation programs have reduced the financial burden of the beneficiary families and assisted them in meeting their daily basic needs.

Abstract

This research aims to find out, understand and explain the form of legal certainty regarding land participation as capital of a limited liability company and legal protection for land owners on which there are buildings which are used as capital participation in limited liability companies. This research uses a normative (applied) juridical approach. This approach is motivated by the idea that law cannot be separated from people's lives in the form of values and attitudes/behavior carried out (law is not autonomous). The results of the juridical and socio-cultural approaches are accumulated in an analytical framework to develop a new idea about land ownership which is used as capital contribution in a Limited Liability Company. The results of this research reveal that the form of legal certainty regarding the inclusion of buildings without land as capital in limited liability companies, in the process based on Article 34 of the PT Law, clearly states the things that must be done if capital is entered in other forms. However, to ensure certainty in the process regarding capital inflows in other forms, in this case in the form of immovable objects other than land, an inbreng deed must be made before the Land Deed Making Officer for immovable property in the form of land or before a Notary for other immovable property. as legal proof of capital infusion into a limited liability company.

Abstract

Character education is very important for students because it forms a better person. The formation of student character is influenced by family, community, and school factors. Schools are one of the main places in character formation because students spend a lot of time at school with teachers, peers, and other adults. This study aims to analyze the role of the school environment in shaping the character of students at SD Al Washliyah 15 Medan. The school environment, which includes social interactions, policies, facilities, and the involvement of teachers and staff, plays an important role in the formation of student character. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which involves data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that a positive school environment is able to shape character values such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and honesty in students. This conclusion is expected to provide insight for schools in strengthening the role of the school environment in shaping students' character as a whole.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of the younger generation in the 2024 Election in the Riau Islands Province, with a focus on the Millennial Generation and Generation Z. Data from the KPU shows that voters in this province are dominated by young voters, consisting of 1,500,974 people with a total of 5,914 polling stations. Policies that are really needed by the people of the Riau Archipelago include attention to the archipelagic region, the fishing prof4ession and fisheries, which it is hoped can be accommodated through the Archipelagic Region Bill. Young generation participation factors in elections are influenced by the capability and relevance of candidates, openness and accountability in politics, media and political persuasion, national and global political context, as well as their perspective on political issues. Generation Z, as the largest first-time voters, plays an important role as influencers on social media, political volunteers, and mobilizers of online protest movements. This study highlights the importance of effective and relevant campaign strategies for the younger generation to increase their political participation and encourage positive change in the Riau Islands Province.

Abstract

The Islamic banking and finance industry in Indonesia faces significant challenges and opportunities in facing the ever-growing global market. Even though the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim, awareness of the principles of Islamic banking and finance is still low among the public. This indicates that there are still people who do not understand sharia principles and equate sharia banks with conventional banks. Then, the complexity of regulations and sharia compliance becomes the main concern for Islamic financial institutions only the rules. However, amidst these challenges, there are great opportunities for the Islamic banking and finance industry to grow and expand market reach. By increasing public awareness, revising supportive regulations, and implementing financial technology and strategic partnerships, this industry can play a greater role in strengthening the Indonesian economy and competing in the global market. In conclusion, these strategic steps will help the Islamic banking and finance industry overcome challenges and exploit future opportunities more effectively.

Abstract

One of the best methods to prepare to earn income in retirement is to join a pension program. The aim of this research is to find out how important pension compensation and old age savings are. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, namely in the form of written sentences and facts spoken by the resource person through interviews and the behavior of the resource person that the researcher has observed. The data obtained by researchers is secondary, obtained from articles, books and journals. The results obtained show that pension compensation and old-age savings are very important as old-age security because the existence of pension funds can provide many benefits for the recipients.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze in more depth the issue of personal data leakage that occurred in the PeduliLindungi application from the aspect of human rights. Privacy is a right that developed from the concept of human rights, namely as part of personal self-protection. This research uses qualitative methods, data collection techniques using literature study where data is taken from books, online journals, and other secondary references. The results found that the government's negligence in maintaining the security of personal data is an action that is considered a violation of human rights, because human rights are rights whose protection is mandatory and must be carried out actively by the government or state. This leak was the result of negligence or the government's absence from efforts to maintain the security of people's personal data on the PeduliLindungi application.

Abstract

Illegal fishing is an issue that has a broad and serious impact on the economy, environment and maritime security. First of all, this illegal practice causes significant economic losses for Indonesia, estimated at hundreds of trillions of rupiah every year. Apart from that, illegal fishing also has a serious impact on marine ecosystems and the sustainability of fisheries resources. The research method used is normative research. This research aims to analyze and test the application of norms contained in legal regulations, such as laws and other legal literature, which are related to the main issues discussed. The problem approach is used to identify and limit research problems, so that the process of data collection, analysis and discussion becomes more structured and focused. The research results show that Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) has a crucial role in fighting transnational crime, especially illegal fishing (IUU Fishing) in Indonesia. MLA enables effective international cooperation, facilitating the exchange of information, evidence collection, and cross-border legal action. The types of assistance that can be sought through MLA, such as locating and identifying individuals, obtaining evidence, and seeking the appearance of witnesses in court, have proven to be very important in supporting law enforcement in the fisheries sector. The implementation of regulations such as Law Number 45 of 2009 concerning Fisheries and Law Number 1 of 2006 concerning Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters, as well as relevant international legal principles, shows that existing regulations are adequate to deal with IUU Fishing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and find out how the legal force between wills and inheritance according to the perspective of the Imam Shafi'i madzhab. The Shafi'i Madhhab asserts that there is a fundamental difference between these two concepts, although both relate to the inheritance of property. An heir is the beneficiary of the beneficiary of the testator's property according to Islamic law, whereas a will gives the testator the right to divide their property according to their own will. To describe the problem or the formulation of the problem, researchers use qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach in the frame of the theory of testamentary law and the theory of inheritance law in Islam. The result of the study is that according to the Madzhab of Imam Shafi'i the law of wills is stronger than inheritance. Imam Shafi'i argues that the legal power of a will is stronger because in a will, one can distribute their property more flexibly and according to their personal will, as long as it does not violate the restrictions set in religion.

Abstract

Forgiveness is the process of letting go of anger and resentment towards someone who has hurt you. Forgiveness is important in marital relationships because it can improve marital quality, such as marital satisfaction, communication, and intimacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between forgiveness and marital quality in wives. This study used a quantitative method involving 200 respondents using Simple Nonrandom sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using the Spearman’s Rho correlation technique, with the result that there was a relationship between forgiveness and marital quality in wives. The results of the study showed that there was a positive relationship between forgiveness and marital quality with a correlation of r = 0.929 and a significance value of 0.001 (p 0.05), meaning that the higher the forgiveness, the higher the marital quality. This indicates that forgiveness is an important factor that can improve marital quality. The implications of this research recommends that the government (KUA) provide education to prospective couples about the importance of forgiveness training in the household to improve the quality of marriage.    .
