Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a very strategic role in the national economy, because they touch the interests of people’s lives widely. Therefore, MSMEs are the backbone of our country’s economy. One example of MSMEs in Rokan Hilir Regency is HH brand peanuts. The purpose of this study is to answer the 3 hypotheses that have been made. Quantitative research was conducted by involving consumers of HH brand peanut products. The questionnaire was distributed using Google Form and SEM-PLS analysis was carried out. The research findings obtained that there was a positive and significant relationship between Price (X1) and Purchasing Decisions (Y). In addition, there was a positive and significant relationship between product quality (X2) and purchasing decisions and there was a positive and significant relationship between Brand (X3) and purchasing decisions (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the implementation of teacher competency standards contributes to shaping the ideal teacher at SMP Negeri 47 Bulukumba. The research is grounded in the concern over the declining quality of national education, which is closely related to teacher competence and professionalism. Employing a qualitative method with a descriptive narrative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and triangulation. The findings indicate that an ideal teacher is defined not only by teaching ability but also by personal integrity, pedagogical, social, and professional competencies, as well as by receiving proper recognition and legal protection. A comprehensive effort is required—from both individual educators and government policies—to achieve quality and sustainable education. In conclusion, ideal teachers must be well-educated, well-trained, well-paid, well-protected, and well-managed in order to perform their professional duties effectively.

Abstract

This article discusses teacher strategies in developing early childhood creativity through paper folding (origami) art activities as a response to the challenges of 21st-century education that demand a creative and holistic learning approach. The urgency of this study lies in the need to revitalize manual activities amidst the dominance of digital technology that has an impact on the decline in children’s motor and imaginative skills. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, reviewing academic literature sources to build a learning strategy model based on the exploration process. The results of the analysis show that effective strategies involve flexible, step-by-step instructions, free exploration space, creative reflection, and the role of teachers as facilitators. These findings are reinforced by the theory of constructivism (Piaget Vygotsky) which emphasizes active and social learning, and the theory of multiple intelligences (Gardner) which emphasizes the importance of developing various domains of children’s potential. Origami has been shown to support the development of fine motor skills, spatial cognition, flexibility of thinking, and children’s adaptive character. In conclusion, the art of paper folding can be optimized as a strategic pedagogical instrument in building creativity and learning readiness in early childhood in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Abstract

One of the English skills which is important to be mastered by students is writing skills. Writing is creative and expressive process. Students need to explore their ideas to write comprehensively. However, there are still many students who make mistakes in writing. This study aims to determine the types of errors most often made by students in writing descriptive text with Grammarly software. Qualitative research design was used in this study. Error analysis in student writing with Grammarly software was applied to 2 classes with a total of 20 English education students. This research is expected to provide valuable insights into good writing procedures, especially in descriptive text writing and the use of Grammarly (AI) software platforms in improving students’ writing skills. The results of the research on error analysis and error classification with Grammarly software show that there are 4 errors made by students in writing descriptive text, namely correctness 46 (51%) errors, clarity 28 (31%) errors, engagement 11 (12%) errors and delivery 5 (6%) errors. With correctness 46 errors and clarity 28 errors as the most frequent types of errors made by students. These findings indicate that students need to improve their writing skills by utilizing the available Grammarly software platforms (AI).

Abstract

This thesis is titled “Analysis of Development Strategy for Peridon Siap Maju Swimming Pool Tourist Attraction Viewed from the Perspective of Islamic Business”. The study aims to evaluate the development strategy of tourist attractions in Pasaman Barat Regency, focusing on Peridon Siap Maju Swimming Pool, established in 2019. This tourist attraction has great potential but has experienced a decline in visitor numbers in recent years. Through SWOT analysis, this study identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the attraction. The results show that the natural beauty and unique facilities are the main strengths, while the lack of supporting facilities and accessibility issues are the weaknesses. Opportunities for development include sustainable tourism and ecotourism trends, while threats include the risk of environmental damage. This study also integrates Islamic principles into business development, such as providing halal food and separating facilities for men and women. Therefore, the proposed development strategy includes improving infrastructure, providing worship facilities, and more effective promotion to attract visitors. This research is expected to contribute to the development of sustainable local tourism that aligns with Islamic values, as well as improve the welfare of the local community through job creation and increased income.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the irony in the short story and film Tak Ada yang Gila di Kota Ini and to see the changes in elements of the short story Tak Ada yang Gila di Kota Ini by Eka Kurniawan and the short film Tak Ada yang Gila di Kota Ini by Wregas Bhanuteja. The method used in this study is the comparative literature method with a sociology of literature approach. The object of study in this study is the short story Tak Ada Yang Gila Di Kota Ini which is found in the short story collection entitled Cinta Tak Ada Mati by Eka Kurniawan published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in 2005 and the film Tak Ada yang Gila di Kota Ini produced by Rekata Studio. The results of this study are the irony depicted in the short story and short film Tak Ada yang Gila di Kota Ini in the form of the behavior of sane people who are more insane than insane people (ODGJ). In addition, there are changes in elements in the form of reductions, additions, and various changes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between taxpayer compliance and national revenue, and its impact on the country’s economy. Data obtained through interviews and document analysis show that a high level of tax compliance directly contributes to increased national revenue. Higher tax revenue enables the government to fund infrastructure projects, education, and other social sectors that support economic growth. Factors affecting tax compliance, such as tax education, government oversight, and incentives or penalties, were also found to play an important role in improving compliance levels. This study suggests that the government should improve the transparency of tax usage, strengthen oversight, and provide incentives for compliant taxpayers to maximize national revenue and promote sustainable economic development.

Abstract

Home Ownership Credit (KPR) is one of the financing instruments offered by banks to help people own a home. In Indonesia, Home Ownership Credit (KPR) consists of conventional KPR with an interest system and sharia KPR based on contracts such as murabahah, musyarakah mutanaqisah (MMQ), and ijarah muntahia bittamlik (IMBT). This study uses a literature study method to compare the mechanisms, risks and benefits of the two KPR schemes. The results of the study show that conventional KPR is more flexible but susceptible to interest rate fluctuations, while sharia KPR is more transparent with price certainty but has a higher initial cost. The selection of a KPR scheme should be adjusted to the customer’s financial needs and preferences.

Abstract

The country with the largest Muslim population in the world, the management of pilgrimage and Umrah is not only an administrative responsibility, but also a religious trust that must comply with the principles of sharia economics. This research aims to analyze the level of Shariah compliance in the management of Hajj and Umrah in Indonesia through a study on its policies and implementation. The research method adopted was a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews with policy makers in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Hajj Financial Management Agency (HJM) managers, as well as Umrah industry actors. Additionally, a documentation study of formal regulation as well as observation of practices in the field was conducted. The study results show that from a regulatory aspect, the Indonesian government has built a legal and institutional framework that supports the implementation of Hajj and Umrah based on Shariah principles. However, in its implementation there are still a number of challenges, such as lack of transparency of fund management, uneven service quality of Umrah pilgrimage trip organizers (PPIU), as well as weak Shariah supervision at the operational level. Some PPIUs have not fully implemented the principles of accountability and trustworthiness in service to the congregation. On the other hand, the management of funds by BPKH has led to Shariah investment, but still needs refinement to be more convenient and oriented to the interests of the congregation. The study recommended the strengthening of Shariah-based supervision systems, improved Shariah literacy for practitioners and congregants, as well as optimizing the Shariah Supervisory Board’s role in overseeing every stage of Hajj and Umrah management. Thus, Shariah compliance in the management of pilgrimage and Umrah in Indonesia can be realized thoroughly and sustainably

Abstract

A place of worship is a very important component in a religion. Nothing can be called a religion without a clear worship system and a permanent place of worship. Christianity calls their place of worship a ‘Church’, which means a house where God and His people meet. The function of this church is to describe their faith by singing spiritual songs with the aim of worshiping or praising their God. The data analysis technique uses qualitative research as the data analysis method. This study uses a case study methodology to conduct qualitative research. The subjects studied in this case study approach. In fostering harmony between religious communities, there must be a gap between one and another. Regarding various social problems that contain the potential for conflict in the local community and can disrupt and harm various efforts to create harmony between religious communities, for example, residential areas that function as houses of worship are found in most of the districts/cities targeted by this study. Thus, it is important for all parties, including the government, religious figures, and civil society, to continue to strive to create harmony and mutual understanding, so that similar conflicts do not recur in the future. Multicultural education, interfaith dialogue, and fair law enforcement are some of the important steps that can be taken to build an inclusive and harmonious society.
