Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a product in the form of service learning (SL)- based LKPD on environmental pollution material for class VII SMP IT Qurrata A'yun Sungayang that is valid and practical. The type of research applied through this activity is research and development using a 4-D model consisting of define, design, develop and disseminate stages. However, what is developed is only up to the develop stage. The results obtained are service learning-based LKPD (SL) has validity with an average result of 90.12% with a very valid category, and the average practicality of teachers obtained is 93.34% with a very practical category and an average practicality The number of students obtained is 83.72% with a very practical category, so that service learning-based worksheets can already be used.

Abstract

This research is based on the thinking of students who think that learning physics is difficult and the available instructional media are less attractive. As a result, students are not interested in learning. This problem occurs because educators have not taken advantage of existing technology and the lack of variety of educators in making media, so that a solution to this problem is needed, namely a STEM-oriented (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematical)-based learning videos connected to the Qur'anic verses on business and energy materials for class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences in SMA/MA. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and practicality of STEM-oriented (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematical)-based learning videos connected to the Qur'anic verses on business and energy materials for class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences in SMA/MA. The development model used in this study is a 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate) which only uses three stages, namely defining, designing, and developing STEM-oriented (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematical)-based learning videos connected to the Qur'an. 'an on the material of work and energy class X MIPA in MA. This learning video will be conducted in a limited trial for students of class X MIPA 1 MAN 2 Tanah Datar to find out the response regarding the practicality of using this learning video which was being developed. From the results of research on the validation aspect of developing STEM-oriented Powtoon-based learning videos connected to the Qur'anic carried out by two validators who are lecturers and one teacher with a percentage of 79.37% (valid criteria). The results of the practicality test of students show a percentage of 85.28% which means it is very practical. For the practicality value of the teacher of 85.29% which shows the meaning that the STEMoriented Powtoon-based learning video is very practical to use by educators in physics learning.

Abstract

Various educational challenges today are building 21st century skills, including information and communication technology skills, critical thinking skills, and problem solving skills. This is in accordance with the implementation of the 2013 curriculum which is currently being implemented in Indonesia where students are required to improve their skills, especially skills during practicum so that the objectives of the learning process can be achieved. In the practicum, students will make observations, be trained to improve skills in practicum and use laboratory equipment. To achieve this, the teacher must use an attractive practicum guide by utilizing technology to be able to improve the skills and activeness of students during practicum. So that researchers are interested in using the E-Module practicum as a practicum guide which is almost displaced by the rapidly growing digital technology media. Through this practicum E-Module, it can increase the interest and activity of students during the practicum in understanding the material and work steps presented in the practicum E-Module. This practicum e-module is equipped with text combined with pictures and videos before students carry out practicums to support students' understanding before carrying out practicums. In order for the use of this practicum E-Module to run optimally, a learning approach is needed to add a more fun and interesting learning atmosphere so that the knowledge gained by students is not forgotten. Where this research uses R&D research to obtain products and test the effectiveness of product development. Through E-Mdoul chemoentrepreneurship-based practicum, currently researchers have qualitative and quantitative analysis data on product feasibility with a validator of 86.8% with valid criteria. While the E-Modul practicum test from the student response questionnaire is 98.3% with very practical criteria, while from the teacher's response questionnaire, the percentage is 98.9% from very practical criteria

Abstract

The problem in this research is the learning resources used less effective because it only uses the revised 2013 curriculum package book 2017. The ineffectiveness of the learning resources used can affect students' ability to solve problems. Solving ability mathematical problems can be improved by using learning resources in the form of LKPD based on metacognition. This study uses development research methods. Design development research consists of 3 stages, namely the define stage, carried out to define the form of metacognition-based LKPD that will made. The design stage (design), aims to prepare LKPD metacognition based. Stage of develop (development), researchers develop LKPD based on valid, practical and effective metacognition. Instruments that used is the LKPD validation sheet, participant response questionnaire validation sheet students (practical), student response questionnaire (practical), validation sheet student response questionnaire (effectiveness), student response questionnaire (effectiveness), RPP validation sheet, RPP, Test instrument validation sheet and test instrument. The data analysis technique used is validity analysis, analysis of practicality and effectiveness analysis. The results showed that the metacognition-based LKPD designed to be valid with a validity result of 76.48%. Then the LKPD has been practical used with a practicality result of 81% with a very practical category. Besides The metacognition-based LKPD has been effective with 82.13% effectiveness results with a very positive category. Problem solving ability of students increased with an N-Gain of 0.62 criteria enough.

Abstract

The unavailability of contextualized teaching resources for chemistry learning, as well as a lack of student interest in entrepreneurship, prompted this research. 4-D development model was used in this research until the development step.  The subjects of this research were a lecturer of media expert, a teacher of material expert, 2 Senior High School teachers for media practicality test, and 10 students at State Senior High School 4 Bagan Sinembah for knowing the responses to the developed module.  The data collected in this research were collected in the forms of interview and questionnaire.  Questionnaire data validity and questionnaire answer were the tools of collecting data.  The obtained data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques.  Based on the research findings, the percentages of media validation evaluation were 97,3% by the material expert and 97,8% by the media expert with very valid evaluation criteria, and the evaluation percentage was 96,7% for teacher practicality test with very practical criterion

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to understand learning material even though at Raudatul Jannah Islamic Junior High School has used quite good technology which can be proven by the opening of digital classes, where students every day bring laptops and supporting facilities such as wifi, air conditioning, infocus, and comfortable classroom. With such facilities, the learning process should be more effective than other classes. However, what is found in the field is that students still do not understand learning. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of students who apply the digital learning process to the classification of living things in class VII.6 of Raudhatul Jannah Islamic Junior High School. Student learning outcomes show that cognitive abilities are still relatively low. Where the percentage of students' completeness is below 50%. The learning media used by the teacher are only in the form of power points, videos and textbooks without any new innovations so that students are less motivated to learn. Based on the above background, the author conducted a study to find a solution to this problem, namely by developing a Biology E-Module Based on Kvisoft Flipbook Maker on Classification of Living Creatures Class VII Islamic Junior High School Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh. This research is a development research using a 4-D development model. The development stage using the 4-D model has four stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. However, in this study, the authors carried out to the development stage (develop). The instrument used in this study was a validation test sheet. Data analysis used descriptive analysis.Based on the research that has been done, a product is produced in the form of a Kvisoft FlipbookMaker-Based Learning E-Module. The E-Modul validation results obtained an average value of 85.69% which is categorized as very valid from the aspects of Guides and Information, Multimedia Content or Materials, Evaluation, Program Performance, Systematics and Aesthetics . And the Kvisoft FlipbookMaker Based Learning Module can already be used for learning

Abstract

The background of this research is the balance between intellectual and spiritual abilities which causes the younger generation to tend to prioritize general knowledge that triggers current technological developments and ignore religious knowledge, so that there is an imbalance between intellectual and spiritual. At the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a lack of learning resources used by educators to teach, so that students had difficulty understanding the materials and concepts provided by educators. Therefore, it is necessary to provide learning resources that students can use independently and attract students' interest in learning. In this case, the researcher designed an e-module using Sigil Software on the material of work and energy. This study uses the type of 4-D development (define), design (design), develop (development), and desseminate. This research instrument uses a validation sheet, a practical sheet and a test instrument. This e-module was validated by 3 validators, namely 2 physics lecturers, 1 lecturer in Al-Quran science. In the process of practicality and effectiveness of the physics e-module, 34 students of class X IPA 1 SMA SMAN 1 Kinali were tested. The results showed that: 1) the results of the validity of the Al-Qur'an integrated e-module using Sigil Software obtained were 82.01% with a very valid category, 2) the practical results of the Al-Qur'an integrated e-module Using Sigil Software were obtained from the results of the student response questionnaire that is 91% while the results of the teacher response questionnaire are 87.16% with a very practical category, and the increase in pretest and posttest scores is analyzed using the N-gain test, which is 0.80 in the high category. With this, it can be concluded that the e-module integrated with the Qur'an using Sigil Software is valid, practical, and effective

Abstract

Using media in learning plays an important role in student understanding. Students will be more motivated to learn, speak and visualize. This makes the teaching and learning process more effective and efficient. Therefore, good learning requires teachers who are competent in managing, utilizing, and developing learning media. Various actions have been taken to ensure that learning media has a positive impact on students. The teacher acts as an intermediary to guide and guide students' learning. Teachers must be able to select and develop media while learning. Therefore, the development of visual learning media (i.e., booklet media) is needed. Beautifully designed booklet media, whose content is dominated by illustrations and images, enhances students' interest in learning and increases student activity. In order to get the most out of this booklet, it is necessary to adopt a methodology or learning model. The learning model is a guided inquiry model. In this study, using the R&D approach, the final phase comes in the form of a validation and practical phase. The results showed that the validity result of the Guided Inquiry-based chemistry brochure reached 90.87%, meeting the criteria of being very effective. From this, it can be concluded that the Guided Inquiry-based Chemistry Booklet as drafted is valid. From the practical results, that is, 78.25% of the students answered the questionnaires and met the practice standards. It can be concluded that the developed guided inquiry-based Chemistry Booklet is very useful.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact found in the field that the low optimization of the use of teaching materials used by students, which causes the low mastery of science learning materials at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar. The teaching materials used are in the form of textbooks as a guide for teachers in the learning process. The weakness of the material described is incomplete, the images presented are not clear, have unattractive colors and are less creative in learning and students are less affective in learning. In the end, students cannot develop skills independently, which will affect student learning outcomes. To address this problem, the purpose of this research is to produce teaching materials in the form of Modules Based on Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) on valid and practical science learning. The type of research applied through this activity is Research And Development using a 4-D model consisting of the Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate stages. The results showed that the module based on Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) was obtained, namely, the resulting module was very valid with a validity value of 85.3% and an average practicality with 90% results based on teacher questionnaire responses and 90% based on student questionnaire responses in the very practical category, so that the Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) based module can be used.

Abstract

This research departs from the problem of lack of learning resources in the learning process. This resulted in students being lazy in participating in mathematics learning so that it had an impact on student learning outcomes. One way to overcome this problem is by having an innovation in learning mathematics, one of which is the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) based mathematics modules. The purpose of this research is to develop a mathematical module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) in learning mathematics that is valid and practical. This research is development research which consists of 3 stages, namely: the define stage, the design stage and the develop stage. This development research instrument uses validation sheets and questionnaires. The module was validated by 3 validators, namely 2 mathematics lecturers and 1 mathematics teacher. The results of the research show that the designed module is valid with a validity result of 71.38%. Then the mathematics learning module has been practically used with a practicality result of 78.86%.
