Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the lack of teaching materials used in learning, in the learning process only using textbooks as a learning resource and there are still no learning resources that can solve student problems. The purpose of this study was to produce a valid student worksheet based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the Circulatory System Material for Class XI at SMAN 2 Pulau Punjung, Dharmasraya Regency. This research is a development research using a 4-D development model. The instruments used in this study were the validity test sheet and the interview sheet. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it can be concluded that: The results of the study show that LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) is very valid in learning on the circulatory system material for class XI at SMAN 2 Pulau Punjung, Dharmasraya district with a percentage of 91.90%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a physics learning video on the solar system material based on virtual reality video 3600 with blender software for class VIII SMP/MTs, as an effort to increase student's interest and passion in learning. The research method used is Research and Development with a 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). This research is only carried out until the development stage. The problem to be studied is obtained at the definition stage. Then, the virtual reality-based 3600 learning video is designed in such a way in the design stage. At the development stage, validation was carried out by 3 validators, namely 2 physics lecturers, and 1 physics teacher. After the product is declared valid, it is continued with trials on students and educators to find out its practicality. The validation of the virtual reality-based 3600 learning video that was developed obtained a percentage of 84.37%. These results show that this video is very valid. Tests on 3600 virtual reality-based learning video students showed that this product was very practical with a percentage of 83.33% by students and 82.5% by educators. So, this learning video can be used as a medium for learning Physics, especially the material for the solar system.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an E-Majalah with Al-Qur'an nuances on the Body System Material in Biology Learning for Valid MTsN Class VIII MTsN Semester 2. The results of the validation analysis obtained by the Al-Qur'an Nuanced E-Majalah were measured from the average validity with the results of 83% in the very valid category. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the E-Majalah Biology with Al-Qur'an nuances on the body system material developed is suitable for use in the learning process of Biology at MTsN/SMP class VIII on body system material (Excretion System, Movement System, Respiratory System, Circulatory System and Digestive System). This can be seen from the validation aspect with an average validity value of 83% with very valid criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and practical Reading, Mind Mapping and Sharing-based mathematics learning module so that it can be used in online learning. The fact on the ground is that the learning resources used only use the 2013 curriculum package, with an insufficient number of students. To overcome this, it is necessary to have additional learning resources that will guide students in learning so that they can develop students' mathematical abilities, especially representational abilities. This research uses development research method with three stages of development, namely 1) defining stage, 2) designing, and 3) developing. The research instruments used were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. While the data analysis technique used is the percentage of the results of the validation and practicality test. Based on the results of the study showed that the RMS-based module was valid and practical. The results of the validation obtained an assessment of 86% with a very valid category and the assessment of 33 grade VII students of MTsN 5 Lima Puluh Kota on the RMS-based module was categorized as practical with an average of 79.73%.

Abstract

One of the this researcg is the lack of learning resources used, so the purpose of this research is to find out the result oh the validation and practical results oh the PBL based Al-Quran Integrated Science module og the Scaffolding strategy. The type og research conducted is research develompen or Reasearch and Development with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, dan Desseminate). The instruments used are validation sheets, student and educator practical sheets. The results obtained are for the validadot by 3 validators of the IPA module, they got a score of 92% (very valid). The results of the practivality of students are 81% (very practical) and 87% of teacher (very practical). It can be concluded that the developed science module is very valid and practical to use in science learning, especially the human digestive system material.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to design a daily life-based practical guide that has been tested for validity and practicality based on the assessment of the validator, teacher and student responses. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D research design covering the stages (1) Define (2) Design (3) Develop (4) Dessiminate, but based on time constraints, this research is limited to the Develop stage. The location of the research was carried out at SMAN 2 Rambah Hilir with the subjects being 2 chemistry teachers and 10 students of class XI MIA. Based on the research that has been done, the validation assessment of media experts and material experts is 86.85% (very valid), the practicality test of the chemistry teacher response assessment is 86.52% (very practical) and the practicality test of student responses is 89 0.06% (very practical).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematical creative thinking ability of students in learning mathematics, seen in the field there are several things that affect this low creative thinking ability. One that is very prominent is the internal factors of the students themselves, where many students have low learning outcomes. Success in learning is also influenced by cognitive aspects such as the ability of partners, also influenced by affective aspects or attitudes. One of them is self- concept and self-confidence. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of self-concept and self-confidence on the mathematical creative thinking ability of class VII students at MTsN 7 Tanah Datar. The type of research used is Field Research (field research) with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were seventh grade students at MTsN 7 Tanah Datar in the 2021/2022 academic year. Sampling was done by Total Sampling technique. The instrument used is a test of mathematical creative thinking skills, a self-concept questionnaire, and a self-confidence questionnaire. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression by looking at the coefficient of determination and testing the hypothesis after testing the classical assumptions. The results of this study using a significance level of 5% indicate that 1) self-concept has no significant effect on creative thinking abilities, 2) self-confidence has a significant effect on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities and 3) self-concept and self-confidence together have no significant effect. on the mathematical creative thinking ability of class VII students at MTsN 7 Tanah Datar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the incompatibility of teaching materials developed by teachers in schools with the characteristics of students. There are a number of reasons for the discrepancy, for example, environment, geography, culture, and others. For this reason, self-developed teaching materials can be adapted to the characteristics of students as targets. Furthermore, the development of teaching materials must be able to answer or solve problems or difficulties in learning. There are a number of learning materials that are often difficult for students to understand or teachers find it difficult to explain. These difficulties may occur because the material is abstract, complicated, foreign, and so on. In addition, biology learning at MTsN 16 Tanah Datar has not yet fully implemented the 2013 curriculum, namely the student center, most teachers still apply the teacher center method, not only science learning, other subject teachers also still apply the same method. This is also due to the lack of new innovations or creative ideas to implement a learning activity in the classroom. Based on the above background, the author conducted a study to find a solution to this problem, namely by developing a biology learning module assisted by Instagram social media on addictive substances for class VIII at MTsN 16 Tanah Datar. This research is a development research using a 4-D development model. The development stage using the 4-D model has four stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the dissemination stage. However, in this study, the authors carried out to the development stage (develop). The instrument used in this study was a validation test sheet. Data analysis used descriptive analysis. Based on the research that has been done, a product is produced in the form of an Instragam-Based Learning Module. The results of the validation of the module obtained an average value of 85.15% which was categorized as very valid from the aspects of content feasibility, language use, presentation components, graphic components, instagram components, instagram information quality, service interaction quality. And the Instragam-Based Learning Module has been used for learning.

Abstract

This study departs from student learning at school, namely the lack of awareness of students in participating in mathematics learning and the lack of student involvement in learning. The various characteristics of students make many students who do not understand the material from learning mathematics. When learning online, students only receive learning through LKPD, without explanation by the teacher. Students prefer the material in mathematics learning they can see and they visit. The purpose of this research is to produce a valid, practical, and effective ICARE-based learning video. This study uses development research methods. This research consists of 3 stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, and the development stage. The definition stage is carried out to define the needs in the learning process and collect various information related to the product to be developed. Furthermore, the design stage aims to design learning videos. The last stage of development is to develop learning videos that have been designed that are valid, practical, and effective. The results showed that the designed learning video was valid with a validation result of 78.45%. Then the ICARE-based learning videos have been practically used with the practical results of 16 students of class VIII SMP N 2 Sungai Tarab amounting to 61.175%. In addition, ICARE-based learning videos have been effectively used based on students' responses to learning, namely students where the percentage is 81.4%. Student learning outcomes increased with the N-Gain category of 0.67% with sufficient criteria.

Abstract

There is still low motivation and understanding of students' concepts, especially in learning wave characteristics for class XI SMA 1 Bandar Sei Kijang students, making this problem important to research. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of conceptual understanding and motivation of class XI students through the application of PowerPoint learning multimedia based on the SAVI model. This type of quantitative research uses a quasi-experimental method, using a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was taken from the XI MIPA class population of 42 students. The research instrument consisted of a concept understanding test of 5 indicators (20 objective questions) and a motivational questionnaire with 4 aspects (25 statements). Data were analyzed descriptively and inferential analysis using parametric statistics, related to the level of understanding of the concept and the learning motivation of the participants. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained that the understanding of the concept in the experimental class increased with a score of 75.9% and learning motivation increased with a score of 70.5% (good category). The results of the inferential analysis with the t-test obtained a significant increase in conceptual understanding and student motivation. There is a relationship between the level of understanding of the concept and the increase in participant motivation. So the implementation of SAVI-based PowerPoint learning multimedia on wave characteristic material is effective in increasing students' conceptual understanding and motivation in class XI SMA.
