Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning system changed. Learning must use appropriate and IT-based media. The limitations of the learning media used, the view that learning physics is difficult coupled with the learning methods used by the teacher tends to make students lazy. As a result, this has an impact on the value of students. The solution is that researchers develop physics learning videos using STEM-based Animaker applications. This study aims to develop physics learning videos to support physics learning on temperature and heat material. The type of research used is research and development which refers to the 4D development model (Define, Develop, and Disseminate). However, the research was only carried out until the development stage due to time and cost limitations. The instrument data used is a product validation sheet. Research data was obtained from two lecturers and one teacher. The results of research and discussion that physics learning videos using STEM-based Animaker applications on temperature and heat material are declared valid with the percentage of each aspect, content quality aspect 80.20%, instructional aspect 86.45%, technical aspect 64.28% so that the total number of aspects obtained results with a percentage of 77.17% which is categorized as valid.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce valid and practical Know, Want, Learn (KWL) based Student Worksheets. The type of research implemented through this activity is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). This product was validated by 2 Biology lecturers at IAIN Batusangkar and a Biology teacher. For the practicality test given to students of class XI IPA SMA N 1 Payakumbuh Regency. The instruments in this study were validation sheets and practicality sheets. The results of this study stated that the Know, Want, Learn (KWL)-based Student Worksheets were very valid with an average percentage of 84%. This product is also very practical according to the teacher with a percentage of 89%, and according to students it is also very practical to use in learning with a percentage of 84%.

Abstract

Factors that affect the learning process in schools are the availability of teaching materials and learning media used. This causes the ability to understand concepts independently has not been achieved. Based on these problems, a research was conducted that aims to develop a web-based learning media google sites with the use of the PhET application in the learning of static fluid physics material that is valid and practical. This type of research is development research and research with the ADDIE research model (Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). In this study, the researcher used a validation instrument in the form of media validation which consisted of 3 validators, namely 2 lecturers and 1 teacher. Practical instrument in the form of a questionnaire response of educators and students who were tested on 27 students and 4 teachers. The results of the product validity have met the very valid criteria with a percentage of 86,61%. At the practical stage, the results of the teacher and student response questionnaires obtained a percentage of 97,67% and 84,00% with a very practical category. So the google sites web-based physics learning media with the use of PhET applications on static fluid meters can be said to be valid and practical to use.

Abstract

This study aims to create a valid product to support learning resources for grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sungayang, which is an interactive module. The module is designed in such a way that it can be accessed via android educators and students, so that it can make it easier for educators and students in implementing the online learning process. The type of research that researchers use is the type of research development or Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D development model. This research only developed 3-D, due to time and cost limitations, and the research was carried out in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic, namely the define stage, design stage, development stage. The sample of this study was class VII at SMP Negeri 2 Sungayang. The research instrument consisted of: an interactive module validation sheet based on android. The data analysis technique is validation analysis. Based on the analysis of the research results, it was concluded that the interactive module based on android in class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungayang was valid. The general criteria aspects of the product are categorized as very valid with a percentage of 82.1%, aspects of the special criteria are categorized as very valid with a percentage of 81.25%, practical aspects are categorized as valid with a percentage of 77.08% and technical aspects are categorized as valid with a percentage of 72, 2%. Overall the android-based interactive module has an average percentage of 78.15% validity, which means it is included in the valid category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the facts found in the field that the low optimization of the utilization of teaching materials used by students causes the low level of education in science learning materials at SMP NI Padang Panjang. Teaching materials are usually used in the form of worksheets that have not been able to increase the exploration and development of the potential of various kinds of intelligence possessed by students in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to produce valid and practical teaching materials in the form of worksheets based on multiple intelligences using circuit learning techniques on the human digestive system. The type of research applied through this activity is research and development using a 4-D model consisting of define, design, and disseminated stages. The LKS product was validated by 2 biology lecturers at IAIN Batusangkar and 1 science teacher and a practical trial by 20 students of SMP N 1 Padang Panjang using validation instruments and practicum instruments. The validity obtained by this worksheet is measured from the average validity with a result of 84.3% in the very valid category and the average practicality with a result of 90.9% in the very practical category, so that multiple intelligence-based worksheets with circuit learning techniques can be used.

Abstract

The absence of physics teaching materials developed for students that involves activities, searching for and finding concepts in accordance with learning objectives, coupled with the low HOTS ability of students in analyzing questions is a reality in the field that underlies this research. So that researchers are interested in developing a physics worksheet based on DBL (Discovery Based Learning) equipped with HOTS questions. This study aims to produce DBL-based physics worksheets equipped with valid and practical HOTS questions for work and energy, momentum and impulse and harmonic vibrations. Research and Development with a 4-D model is a type of research developed. The stages of this research consist of 4 phases, namely Definition, Design, Development and Dissemination. However, due to time and cost constraints, this research was only carried out until the development stage. DBL-based physics worksheets equipped with HOTS questions are designed with six learning stages, namely Stimulation, Problem Statement, Data Collection, Data Processing, Verification and Generalization. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the results of the validation of the DBL-based physics LKPD are equipped with HOTS questions with a percentage of 78.33% and valid categories. While the results of the practicality questionnaire responses of teachers and students were obtained respectively 85.54% and 91.18% with very practical criteria. So it can be concluded that the DBL-based physics worksheet development is equipped with valid and very practical HOTS questions to be used for class X high school students.

Abstract

A variety of actions have been made in the face of globalization problems in the 21st century, especially in aspects of education. This is not strangely we are tailored to the most important part of the nation's lives in the future of the progress of the community's intelligence. So in the world of government's interest seeking to apply various curriculum on the educational aspect in Indonesia, the 2013 curriculum. This curiosity of Indonesia wants students to become more independent in mastering the concept of learning and not only accept only, but involved actively seeking problems and finding answers from the problem itself, while teachers are only the guidance to achieve the objective of the learning optimally. To achieve this, then the teacher must use the learning media in the delivery of information that can be used to reveal the learning content. So researchers are interested in using print media as learning media in the form of booklet media that is almost a hurry by rapidly growing digital technology media. Through this booklet media can cause students 'attention and interest in understanding material transmitted with small and less thick book, the content of the main appearing is simply accompanied by the image in supporting students' understanding in learning. In order for the use of this booklet to run the maximum, it takes a learning approach is the sets to add a more fun and interesting learning atmosphere so that the students' obtained science is not forgotten. Where this research uses R & D research to obtain products and test the effectiveness of product development. Through the current MOBIOBER BOOKET-based media initiator researcher has data qualitative and quantitative analysis of product feasibility by validator 79.8% with valid criteria. While the test of the book-based book-based physician from the response questionnaire of 85.1% to 10 students with criteria is very practical, while from the response of the teacher's response obtained a percentage of 86.3% of its criteria is very practical.

Abstract

The biology teacher at the school is constrained by learning media, the media used is limited such as power points, videos, and charts. In terms of students, it is known that students aremore enthusiastic when teachers use learning media such as videos, power points, and chapters than when teachers only use books as learning media. This results in a lack of reading interest of students and also the ability to think critically and creatively of students which causes students to lack understanding of science material, especially biology. Development or research and development with a model referring to the 4-d development model. The result of study, at the validation stage carried out by 3 validators consisting of 1 lecturer and 2 teachers who teach at the school. The result of the validation of learning media obtained an average value of 92.12% categorized as very valid from the aspects of didactic requirements, contruction requirements, technical requirements, language and integrated pop up book components of Al-qur’an verses.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the limited learning resources used by students to understand the material and the difficulties of students in understanding the concepts taught by the teacher. Even though in terms of the number of learning resources used are sufficient, these learning resources cannot fully support students in understanding mathematics material. In addition, in applying the concept, the teacher did not arrange the knowledge of students properly so that students had difficulty understanding mathematical concepts. The purpose of the research in general is to produce Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on the Metaphorical Thinking Approach to Improve the Mathematical Comprehension Ability of Class VIII Students at SMP N 2 Pariangan in understanding mathematical concepts and motivating students to obtain data on what are the characteristics of a student-based LKPD. The resulting metaphorical thinking approach has met the valid criteria. The type of research used is research and development with development according to Van Den Akker which consists of 3 stages, namely: (1) front analysis stage (front-back analysis), (2) prototype stage (prototype) and (3)) the assessment stage (assessment). The data collection technique used to determine validation is the validation sheet. While the instrument used was a product validation sheet. The results showed that the characteristics of the LKPD based on the metaphorical thinking approach that were designed were valid. The results obtained from the LKPD validity test were 79% valid.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the talking stick type cooperative learning model using question cards to students' physics learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research, with a posttest only control group design. Sampling used simple random sampling where class X.4 as the experimental class and X.3 as the control class. Collecting data using a cognitive test of learning outcomes in the form of a multiple choice test with 20 questions. Data on the affective and psychomotor domains of students used observation sheets which were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. From the results of the final test, the average final score for the cognitive domain in the experimental class and control class was 73.47 and 66.30, respectively. For the affective domain, the average values obtained by the experimental class and control class are 72.12 and 68.18, respectively. As for the psychomotor domain, the average values for the experimental class and control class are 73.10 and 68.29, respectively. From the hypothesis test that was carried out, it was found that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, it can be concluded that "student physics learning outcomes in the application of the talking stick type cooperative learning model using question cards are better than the physics learning outcomes of students who do not use the talking stick type cooperative learning model. Straight in class X SMAN 2 Sungai Tarab”.
