JASE is a national and multi-disciplinary journal in Sustainable Agricultural research, managed by the Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara. JASE has two issues in a year and it will be published in May and October. Every submitted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers using double-blind review method. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on all countries, both in terms of the economy and in other aspects, including Indonesia. Many sectors are affected by this pandemic, but the agricultural sector is a sector that is able to survive (sector of the last resort). This study aims to determine the possibility of strengthening human resources in the agricultural sector by diverting workers affected by COVID-19 to the agricultural sector. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical method. The data used is secondary data which is annual data that comes from relevant sources from several relevant ministries. Data analysis used in this research is trend analysis and strategy analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the trend of increasing the daily spike in Covid-19 cases in Indonesia in 2020 is positive. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the trend of increasing layoffs in 2014-2020 is positive. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the trend of the development of the younger generation in the agricultural sector until 2019 is negative. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the trend of increasing the daily spike in Covid-19 cases in Indonesia in 2020 is negative. The solution for improving human resources can be done by providing opportunities and opportunities for human resources who experience layoffs to work in the agricultural sector which requires a lot of manpower. Of course, you need to be equipped with several things because these workers do not have experience in agriculture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana permintaan terhadap buah pisang ambon di Kecamatan Sragen Kabupaten Sragen dan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada permintaan buah pisang ambon di Kecamatan Sragen Kabupaten Sragen. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sumber data berasal dari observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian yaitu sebanyak 40 responden, dengan penarikan sampel menggunakan incidental sampling. Dengan Analisis Data menggunakan Uji F, Uji t, dan Koefisien Determinasi ( R2) dengan bantuan software SPSS. Adapun hasil analisis regresi linier berganda maka fungsi persamaan sebagai berikut : Y = 6.725 +0,000X1 + 1,176.10-6 X2 + 0,122 X3 – 0,111 X4 – 0,037 X5. Dimana harga pisang ambon (X1): tidak adanya kenaikan harga pisang ambon tidak mempengaruhi jumlah permintaan terhadap pisang ambon. Pendapatan konsumen (X2): pendapatan konsumen mengalami penurunan maka permintaan terhadap pisang ambon akan mengalami penurunan. Begitu juga sebaliknya. Jumlah tanggungan (X3): adanya penambahan jumlah tanggungan permintaan akan meningkat. Maka hal ini tidak mempengaruhi jumlah permintaan pisang ambon yang dibeli konsumen. Selera Konsumen (X4): menurunnya tingkat selera konsumen maka permintaan akan mengalami penurunan . Hal ini karena tinggi rendahnya selera konsumen akan mempengaruhi jumlah permintaan konsumen. Pengetahuan khusus (X5): setiap perubahan pengetahuan terhadap pembelian pisang ambon akan mempengaruhi penurunan permintaan terhadap pembelian pisang ambon. Dari uji F dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara serempak variabel harga pisang ambon, pendapatan konsumen, jumlah tanggungan, selera konsumen dan pengetahuan khusus konsumen dalam pembelian pisang ambon berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan pisang ambon. Dari hasil Uji t dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan pisang ambon di Kecamatan Sragen Kabupaten Sragen adalah jumlah pendapatan konsumen dan selera konsumen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan pisang ambon sedangkan harga pisang ambon, jumlah tanggungan keluarga, dan pengetahuan khusus konsumen tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan pisang ambon di kecamatan Sragen kabupaten Sragen.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penentu keberhasilan, mengetahui posisi bersaing Agrowisata Tanggul Asri Jambu Merah Gumeng dibandingkan agrowisata pesaing, dan merumuskan alternatif strategi bersaing yang dapat diterapkan Agrowisata Tanggul Asri Jambu Merah Gumeng. Metode dasar dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis dan menggunakan Teknik studi kasus. Tempat penelitian dipilih secara sengaja (purposive). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa faktor penentu keberhasilan Agrowisata Tanggul Asri Jambu Merah Gumeng meliputi keterjangkauan harga dengan rating 4 dan bobot (0,0984), kesesuaian harga dengan rating 3 dan bobot (0,1051), pelayanan dengan rating 2 dan bobot (0,1024), kebersihan dengan rating 3 dan bobot (0.0984), keragaman kegiatan dengan rating 3 dan bobot (0,0984), kemenarikan kegiatan dengan rating 2 dan bobot (0,1011), kemudahan akses transportasi dengan rating 1 dan bobot (0,0985), keamanan dengan rating 1 dan bobot (0,0997), fasilitas dengan rating 2 dan bobot (0,1025) dan kenyamanan dengan rating 4 dan bobot (0,0957). Hasil dari analisis CPM menunjukkan bahwa Agrowisata Tanggul Asri Jambu Merah Gumeng (Agrowisata A) menempati posisi kedua dengan perolehan skor (2,4923), posisi pertama ditempati oleh Agrowisata Kampoeng Karet (Agrowisata D) dengan perolehan skor (3,0992), untuk posisi ketiga dan keempat ditempati oleh Agrowisata Jambu Merah Ngargoyoso (Agrowisata B) dan Agrowisata Kebun Teh Kemuning PT. Rumpun Sari (Agrowisata C) dengan perolehan skor (2,2025) dan (2,209). Alternatif strategi bersaing yang dapat dirumuskan untuk Agrowisata Tanggul Asri Jambu Merah Gumeng yaitu Melakukan perbaikan pada kualitas keamanan, menambah fasilitas agrowisata, melakukan perbaikan pada faktor kualitas pelayanan dan kemenarikan kegiatan

Abstract

Pemerintah daerah diberikan hak otonomi agar dapat menggali dan memanfaatkan potensi yang dimiliki daerah, termasuk diantaranya adalah penggunaan sumberdaya lahan untuk pengembangan sektor pertanian. Kabupaten Karanganyar memanfaatkan lahan untuk komoditas biofarmaka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi komoditas biofarmaka unggulan dan menetapkan daerah prioritas pengembangan komoditas unggulan di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis location quotient, dan analisis shift share. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komoditas jahe dan kunyit merupakan komoditas unggulan dan memiliki potensi yang tinggi untuk dikembangkan. Pengembangan komoditas jahe diprioritaskan ke Kecamatan Kerjo dan Kecamatan Jenawi sedangkan komoditas kunyit ke Kecamatan Jatiyoso dan Kecamatan Jumapolo

Abstract

prospect of developing ginger farming in Jenawi District has great potential because the ginger cultivated is of good quality. The type of ginger that is widely cultivated in Jenawi District is emprit ginger, emprit ginger has a strong spicy taste and a lot of essence. The purpose of this research is to determine the right strategic priority for developing ginger farming in Jenawi District. This research was conducted in ginger farming, Jenawi District, Karanganyar Regency. The basic method used is descriptive analytical. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used is farm analysis. The strategy formulation at the input stage uses the IFE matrix and the EFE matrix, at the matching stage using the SWOT matrix, and at the decision stage using the QSPM matrix. The results showed that the total cost was Rp. 34,417,711 / Ha, revenue Rp. 153,986,333 / Ha, income of IDR 119,568,622 / Ha. From the IFE matrix identified 4 strengths, 4 weaknesses, and the EFE matrix 4 threats, 5 threats. From the SWOT matrix, it produces 6 alternative strategies. The QSPM matrix produces strategic priorities, which is to collaborate with the Department of Agriculture to hold counseling and comparative studies so as to increase the knowledge and managerial skills of farmers so that they can improve ginger farming effectively and efficiently, because they get a total TAS value of 5.72.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penilaian publik internal dan eksternal perusahaan terhadap peran public relations perusahaan. Mengetahui tingkat eksistensi perusahaan saat ini. Menganalisis hubungan antara peran public relations dengan eksistensi perusahaan PT Palawi Risorsis unit kerja Baturraden. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sample yang digunakan adalah pusposive random sampling. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data diperoleh mengunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan pencatatan. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan meggunakan uji korelasi rank spearman dan uji lebar interval kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran public relations kepada publik internal PT Palawi Risorsis unit kerja Baturraden sebagai penciptaan moral kerja bagi karyawan dan  pengadaan media internal masuk dalam kategori tinggi sementara peran sebagai supporting kegiatan-kegiatan karyawan masuk dalam kategori kurang. Adapun eksistensi perusahaan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan prosentase 60%. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara peran public relations (baik kepada publik internal maupun eksternal) dengan eksistensi perusahaan PT Palawi Risoris unit kerja Baturraden pada taraf kepercayaan 95%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh, besarnya peluang, dan faktor dominan dari variasi produk, informasi nilai gizi, harga, dan iklan produk terhadap keputusan perpindahan merek Teh Botol Sosro di Surakarta. Metode dasar penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Kota Surakarta dengan beberapa pertimbangan. Metode penentuan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi logistik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variasi produk dan iklan produk berpengaruh signifikan dan negatif, dan informasi nilai gizi dan harga produk berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap keputusan perpindahan merek Teh Botol Sosro di Surakarta. Variasi produk memiliki peluang sebesar 0,370. Informasi nilai gizi memiliki peluang sebesar 9,972. Harga produk memiliki peluang sebesar 23,899. Iklan produk memiliki peluang sebesar 0,411. Faktor yang paling berpengaruh dalam penelitian ini adalah harga produk dari Teh Botol Sosro dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%

Abstract

One of the factors determining the price of unhulled rice (GKP) as is the labor cost which is represented by the wages of farm laborers. Vector Autoregressive (VAR) estimated  the positive response of GKP prices due to changes in nominal farm labor wage. Price of hike  in farm labor wages caused the increase the proportion of labor cost in farm production costs. Price regulation  implemented by government for rice as a staple food could be considered by producers to controll the costs of production factors , one of them was because labor cost determined the profits of paddy farming. Changes in GKP prices affected the supply and demand for labor, the number of workers employed by producers and labor expectations in obtaining income at the paddy farming. The relation of the price of GKP and nominal labor wage was depicted in two-way causality using Engle-Granger Causality.   Keywords: Farm Worker, Unhulled Rice, Wage

Abstract

Processing of agricultural product resources by increasing added value is used as a strategy to improve the economy, as was done by the Women Farmers Group (KWT) 'Vera Sejati' which processes aloe vera into food/beverage processed Aloe vera. The purpose of this study is to determine the structure of costs, revenues, profits, and to determine the added value obtained from processed aloe vera at KWT 'Vera Sejati' in Katongan Village, Nglipar District, Gunung Kidul Regency. The basic method used is descriptive analytical. The respondents of this research are the owner and 2 employees. The method used as a value-added analysis tool is the Hayami Method. The results showed that fixed costs were Rp 50,166.67/month, variable costs were Rp 1,463,200.00/month, while the total cost was Rp 1,513,366.67/month. The total revenue obtained from processed aloe Vera is Rp. 3,060,000.00/month, and the profit obtained is Rp. 1,546,633.33/month. The added value obtained from processed aloe vera is Rp. 44,443.29/kg of raw material in the form of aloe vera of 24 kg. The added value is obtained from the result of reducing the output value, which is Rp. 131,443.29/kg with an input cost of Rp. 7,000.00/kg and the contribution of other inputs/supporting costs of Rp. 80.000,00/kg. The added value ratio of processed aloe vera is 33.81%. This shows that the added value is still relatively low because it is still below 50%.

Abstract

Wonogiri Regency is a limestone area that is barren and hilly. To deal with the dry conditions of the area, residents plant upland rice. There are two types of land in Manyaran sub-district, namely paddy fields and upland land. The purpose of the study was to determine production costs, revenues, revenues, efficiency, to compare production costs, revenues, incomes and productivity levels of lowland and upland rice farming in Manyaran District. The basic method is descriptive. Purposive location taking in Manyaran District. The number of respondents is 60, namely 30 rice farmers and 30 upland rice farmers. The analytical method is farming analysis and comparative analysis. The results of the study 1) The average cost of paddy rice production is Rp. 2,369,988/Ha and upland rice Rp. 890.770/Ha. The average rice paddy receipts Rp. 4,643,933/Ha and upland rice Rp. 1,813,400/Ha. The average income of paddy rice is Rp. 2,273,935/Ha and upland rice Rp. 922,630/Ha. The value of the B/C ratio for lowland rice is 0.96, which means it is not feasible and upland rice is 1.04, which means it is feasible. While the value of R/C ratio for lowland rice is 1.96 and upland rice is 2.04, it means that both lowland rice and upland rice farming are feasible to cultivate, so the efficiency of upland rice is greater than lowland rice. The BEP value of lowland and upland rice products is 527.49 Kg and 198.52 Kg. The BEP value for lowland rice and upland rice is Rp 2,294.29/Kg and Rp 2,204.88/Kg. 2) The results of the t-test of production costs of 0.000, income of 0.000, and productivity of 0.001 means that there is a significant difference between production costs, income, and productivity of lowland rice farming with upland rice.   Keywords: Efficiency, Comparison, Upland Rice, Paddy Rice
