Abstract

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia has encouraged and provided guidance to schools in Indonesia to have websites as part of efforts to increase the transparency and accessibility of educational information. However, the rules regarding the obligation for each school to have a website are different in each region or province, so it is important to check the guidelines issued by the local education office. This research aims to build a school information system website at SD Negeri 1 Pasir Kidul. The school does not yet have a website as directed by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The absence of a website at the school causes the dissemination of information to the community to be hampered, the school's promotion to the community is not good, so an information system website is needed for the school. The school information system website was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. The RAD method was chosen because it is very efficient compared to other methods which require longer research time. Through the RAD method, you can speed up the process of developing an information system website and ensure that the resulting system meets the school's needs. The result of this research is an information system in the form of a website which aims to disseminate information about SD Negeri 1 Pasir Kidul by displaying school information, school galleries, activities at the school, as well as New Student Admissions (PPDB). The website that has been built is tested using the Black Box Testing method. The results of Black Box Testing prove that the SD Negri 1 Website is running according to needs.

Abstract

Forest and land fires are an economic and environmental problem that can cause serious damage. We can predict what factors cause forest fires. It is undeniable that topographical conditions affect the triggering and propagation of fires. The topographical condition itself is in the form of a slope, where fire propagation will be faster when going up the slope than going down the slope. This study aims to match whether the slope and display locations that are prone to the spread of certain fires with high fire intensity actually have a high fire potential and report the magnitude of the influence of the slope in the prediction of fire potential. One of the common approaches to classifying data is to use data mining. So in this study the researchers used the Naive Bayes Classifier as a classification method by getting the highest accuracy value of 0.99%.

Abstract

The information system in a music school business will be crucial in driving the success and progress of the company. Where customer satisfaction can be achieved when the right strategy can be realized in achieving organizational goals. So it is deemed necessary to have an information system to increase business competitiveness for a music school. In information system planning, it is very necessary to use SWOT analysis to get a company's view regarding strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Which is used to be able to see more comprehensively for decision making purposes. The research carried out aims to analyze external and internal factors. External factors influence opportunities and threats. Factors that occur outside the company that will influence decision making in the company and internal factors which include strengths and weaknesses. In this research, the author made observations at one of the music schools to obtain data, documents, and conducted interviews with business people as sources of information needed by the author. The final results of this research are the SO Strategy (strengths opportunities), the ST Strategy (strengths threats), the WO Strategy (weaknesses opportunities) and the WT Strategy (weaknesses threats). SWOT analysis in the design of an Information system will be very helpful in making decisions on the design of Information Systems and Information Technology in the future for music schools. The suggestion from this research is that the results of the SWOT analysis are only the first step in designing a business strategy. And what will really influence the success of achieving company goals is the next step in determining company decisions regarding Information Systems and Information Technology.

Abstract

A Geographic Information System (GIS) application based on Android is used for the purpose of data collection and monitoring of telecommunication towers, with a case study conducted at the Department of Communication and Informatics (Diskominfo) of Cimahi City. The aim of this research is to optimize the process of data collection and monitoring of telecommunication towers through the utilization of Android-based technology and geographic information. The hope is that the developed application will provide efficient support for Diskominfo in data management, accurate monitoring of telecommunication tower locations, and enhanced supervision of this crucial infrastructure. By combining Android technology and GIS features, it is expected that this application can become an effective tool in supporting the monitoring and control of telecommunication towers in Cimahi City. The methodology used in designing this system is the Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, which consists of seven stages: Requirement Definition, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, Maintenance, and Evaluation. This application is built using Flutter version 3.10.6. From the results of the conducted User Acceptance Test (UAT), the average parameter scores are as follows: user interface (85.6%), application performance (88.4%), application functionality (88.4%), application security (80%), and final feedback (91.4%). The overall test result is 86.7%.

Abstract

The Company's HR performance measurement system can be carried out by implementing the Human Resource Scorecard approach where the Company can determine measurable and relevant indicators in accordance with the Company's strategic objectives from various perspectives, internal business processes, HR Alignment, and HR Deliverable (Learning & Growth). This research aims to see the achievement of targets imposed on an organization using the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) instrument. The results of this research show that there are 4 perspectives, namely HR Efficiency (Financial), High Performance Work System Perspective (Internal Business Process), HR Engagement (Customer), and HR Deliverable (Learning & Growth). From these four perspectives there are 9 indicators used to build an HR performance evaluation system that is in accordance with PT. X. The system built can show the achievement value of each indicator which can be evaluated to determine Company policy. This system is equipped with a traffic light system which can show information about which indicators need improvement, need to be improved, and are in line with targets.

Abstract

The social assistance data collection process at the People's Welfare Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province experiences several problems such as low efficiency and limited data accessibility. This research aims to design and implement an interactive and responsive web-based information system to record official assistance. This solution is expected to improve data processing efficiency and information accessibility for interested parties and the general public. The methodology used in designing this system is the Unified Modelling Language (UML) approach, which includes various types of diagrams such as use case, sequence, activity, and class diagrams. The implementation of this system includes user training, regular maintenance, and information transparency policies. The results of this study show that the designed system can optimise the online data collection process, increase transparency, and facilitate active community participation. In addition, collaboration between departments can also be improved through easy information sharing features. Thus, the new information system has a positive impact in improving the quality of services to people with social welfare problems (PMKS) and recipients of social assistance within the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

PT Omni Electrindo is a distributor of electrical components located at Jalan Sidodadi Timur No.22 Semarang still finds many problems in managing employee work absences. Attendance is still managed using Microsoft Excel and data is retrieved manually. At the beginning of 2020 there was an outbreak of the 2019 Coronavirus (Covid-19) which shook the world community, so the government issued a policy of limiting activities outside the home. In accordance with government policy, PT Omni Electrindo carries out work from home in turns. Based on this background, the researcher created an employee attendance system using geolocation and webcam methods in the HRIS application and using a prototype method which is expected to assist personnel in managing employee attendance data who work from home. In the system testing process, the results of the performance test were obtained with a score of B (74%) and resulted in a percentage of the results of the user questionnaire with 22% of respondents from a total of 60 employees at PT Omni, namely 91% of respondents choosing very good and 9% choosing good. Based on the test results obtained, the attendance recording process which previously took 20-30 minutes, now only takes 5 minutes. With this employee attendance system, it is expected to be able to assist the personnel and employees in the attendance process quickly and accurately.

Abstract

The Forward Chaining method is used in developing an expert system to diagnose photocopier damage. This system aims to help technicians or non-technical users identify and repair problems that occur with photocopiers. The system collects information about symptoms or signs associated with damage to the photocopier. This information is then used to check existing rules in the knowledge base. The system sequentially checks these rules and matches the conditions to the symptoms observed on the copier. Therefore, this research aims to implement the forward chaining method in a website-based Canon IRA 4251/6275 photocopier damage expert system as a solution to help technicians so that they do not need to come to the customer's place to repair the photocopier, because customers can repair damage to their photocopier accordingly. The directions from the expert system application are useful for reducing costs by 70% for calling a photocopy technician. These results were obtained from the user questionnaire answers that this application was very helpful. The research method used is the case study method, by collecting data through interviews and observation. And the development method here uses the prototype method. This expert system application uses the CodeIgniter framework and uses a MySQL database. The application for implementing forward chaining on the website-based Canon IRA 4251/6275 photocopier damage expert system is expected to help customers solve problems related to damage to photocopiers and reduce customer costs for servicing photocopiers.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology nowadays and fairly easy access have resulted in increased use of technology by society. The use of technology can make it easier for people to search for information, both locally and internationally. Technological developments also have an influence in the business sector, where their use can help businesses increase the number of potential buyers who look at the business and the profits of the business. The "Asen" business is a car spare parts business founded by a freelancer named Tomy Setiawan Tjua who has been involved in the world of car spare parts for 20 years. The sales system in this business still uses a manual method where prospective buyers are required to contact the business owner first to carry out transactions. Creating a website-based sales system for the "Asen" business is to make it easier for business owners to sell car spare parts and make it easier for buyers to purchase car spare parts. Creating this website-based sales system uses Laravel as a PHP-based website platform, then MySQL as a data storage place, and Visual Studio Code application as a place to write system code.

Abstract

Increasingly rapid of technology in development encourages various business sectors to utilize technology to compete in carrying out their business. Therefore, almost every business sector currently utilizes technology, both website and mobile based. Due to the problems that arise in door-to-door coffee sales, such as permanent places that are difficult to find, technology is used to facilitate these sales. Through the existing website to support door-to-door coffee orders, sellers can easily get orders and can directly deliver the coffee to the customer. The website development uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP programming languages and the phpMyAdmin as database. This website-based door-to-door coffee ordering information system was designed using an object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) process.
