Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of a text-rich environment in PAUD units and its impact on children's language development. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Research subjects at PAUD Shafa Marwah. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the implementation of a text-rich environment at PAUD Shafa Marwah has gone well. Children show high interest in the reading materials provided and actively interact with the text. This has a positive impact on children's language development, both in terms of vocabulary, reading comprehension and speaking ability.   Keywords: Text-rich environment; language development; early childhood

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of Early Childhood Education (ECE) from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as its implementation in Muslim families. ECE focuses not only on cognitive aspects but also on moral education, faith, and worship. Through the habituation of Islamic values, good role models from parents, and positive communication, holistic education can be achieved. This study also identifies the challenges of modernization that may threaten Islamic ECE values and offers solutions to address these challenges. By integrating formal and informal educational approaches, it is hoped that future generations will grow into individuals with noble character and faith. The conclusion of this article emphasizes that the role of parents as primary educators is crucial in shaping children's character in accordance with Islamic teachings.Keywords: Early Childhood Education; Qur'an and Hadith; Islamic Values.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-bullying socialization programs based on Islamic values implemented by human rights mobilization communities in Samarinda City. This program involves collaboration between schools, parents, and the community in preventing bullying and strengthening the morale of elementary school children. The methods used are mixed-methods, which include interviews, observations, questionnaires, and literature studies. The results of the study showed that after three months of program implementation, there was a 35% decrease in bullying incidents. A total of 75% of students reported an increased understanding of the impact of bullying, and 60% were able to identify bullying behaviors around them. In addition, parental participation in school activities increased from 45% to 78%, which indicates improved communication and better collaboration between schools and families. This program also succeeded in introducing Islamic values such as rahmah and ukhuwah in student interaction, which had a positive impact on strengthening their morals. These findings show that collaboration between schools, parents, and the community is very effective in shaping children's character and reducing bullying behavior, and underscores the importance of religion-based moral education in supporting children's character development. Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore value-based parenting strategies implemented by parents in instilling morality and ethics in children in the digital era. In this context, advancements in information technology have created new challenges in parenting, particularly related to children's engagement with digital content. This study conducted in-depth interviews with ten parents who have elementary school-aged children. The method is a descriptive qualitative approach. Reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing are the steps used to conduct data analysis. The research results show that parents use various methods to communicate, supervise technology use, and integrate religious and cultural values in parenting. Parents who effectively teach moral values to their children also tend to talk to them about the positive and negative impacts of digital technology. This study suggests that parents need training and guidance to enhance their ability to navigate the dynamics of the digital era. Abstract

This research is motivated by parenting patterns, because parents are someone who has an important role in the family, especially in good parenting patterns for the development of children to become better individuals in living their lives. The application of parenting patterns has a very important role in child development, but there are still many parents who have unknowingly made mistakes in providing parenting patterns for their children, one of which is toxic parenting patterns, toxic parents have a very big negative effect on children. If this toxic parenting pattern continues, it will have a very fatal effect on children's mental health, especially the development of children's emotional abilities which are disturbed and will affect children's lives in their daily lives. Thus, this study aims to analyze the impact of mental health obtained by early childhood, especially in the development of early childhood emotional abilities due to the application of Toxic Parents parenting patterns. This study uses a literature review method. This study is expected to be a reference for parents to better understand how to provide the best parenting patterns for children. Abstract

Basically, every child has the right to grow and develop in their life. The main problem in this study is the language development of speech delay children at the Bureau of Psychology. Speech delay itself is a condition of children who experience delays in speaking. This study aims to describe efforts to develop language using the storytelling method on the speaking ability of children with speech delay at the Jepara Applied Psychology Bureau. This study uses a research method with a descriptive qualitative research type. The data sources for this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation at the Jepara Applied Psychology Bureau. The research data sources were obtained from the head of the bureau, counselors or therapists, and parents of speech delay children. The results of the research in the field succeeded in obtaining several findings, namely: Application of the storytelling method as an effort to develop the language of speech delay children. The media used are dolls, surrounding objects, and fairy tale books. The steps used start from praying, mouth exercises, applying the storytelling method, relaxation, re-telling, and closing. In addition, guidance and counseling services are provided by counselors to parents as supporting steps. From the implementation process, several obstacles were obtained such as children having tantrums, falling asleep, being lazy to express themselves, and children being passive. However, the application of the storytelling method has several developments, such as children being able to make sentences, being able to interact with other people, and being able to respond to other people's communication. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the methods of using learning assessments at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA) Hidayatullah Sambilegi Lor Yogyakarta, as well as to find supporting and inhibiting factors for the assessment. This research is a type of qualitative study, and the aim of this research is to explore phenomena, evaluate data, and correctly interpret the results. Interviews, observations, and documentation are the research techniques used. TPA Hidayatullah conducts learning assessments in three stages: daily assessments, monthly assessments, and semester assessments. The research results show that the children of TPA Hidayatullah received good grades, although there were also some who did not perform well because they did not understand the material being taught. Teamwork and the availability of adequate facilities are supporting factors in the assessment of the learning of TPA Hidayatullah children, while the inhibiting factor is the teachers' lack of understanding of how to use certain instruments. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the stigma of society towards children with disabilities in Bengkulu province. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation analysis, interviews, and documentation. Respondents in this study were the village head and three parents of children with disabilities. The results of the study indicate that the stigma towards children with disabilities in the Village is still very strong and includes various negative views, both towards children and their families. This stigma appears in the form of negative labels such as "stupid children," "naughty children," "cursed children," or "family burdens." These negative views are mainly influenced by factors such as public ignorance, lack of education about disabilities, and minimal empathy and sympathy in social interactions Keywords: Stigma; Children; Disability

Abstract

This study investigates the function of single parents in forming discipline and a sense of responsibility in young children in Dusun IV Laut Dendang. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Information was collected through in-depth interviews with single parents. The results of the study revealed that single parents face various difficulties, such as meeting the needs of children in terms of physical, emotional, and financial. However, by implementing Islamic parenting patterns based on the values ​​of the Qur'an and Hadith. Children are taught to carry out daily tasks independently, such as tidying up toys, eating by themselves, and recognizing the importance of responsibility in everyday life. Religious education is also an important foundation in forming a child's character that is strong, independent, and responsible. Abstract

Indonesia's 21st century education system emphasizes the importance of critical thinking skills in the development of every child. Collaboration between parents and teachers is a method that can be used to support the development of children's critical thinking skills. Effective communication can encourage cooperation in creating an interactive and supportive learning environment, both at home and at school, so that children can learn the thinking skills needed to face the challenges of the modern world. This article aims to find out (1) how collaboration between parents and teachers can effectively improve children's critical thinking skills, (2) the obstacles that are often faced in collaborative efforts between parents and teachers to improve children's critical thinking skills and solutions to the obstacles experienced. This article uses the literature review method by obtaining 100 sources from articles, books, and repositories, then the data is analyzed and gets 10 main articles. The results show that collaboration between parents and teachers creates a consistent learning environment, both at home and at school. In conclusion, the role of parents and teachers is very important in children's learning process, especially in developing critical thinking skills that are the foundation for their future.
