Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Berkarya, with registered number ISSN 2828 - 4011(Online) is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Pusat Studi Ekonomi, Publikasi Ilmiah dan Pengembangan SDM Azramedia Indonesia. It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. ABDIMAS BERKARYA : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat, contains various activities of the teaching staff to handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involve the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society. <![CDATA[The 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Election (PILKADA) is a means of popular sovereignty to elect the Governor and deputy governor, Regent and Deputy Regent, Mayor and deputy mayor, which is carried out directly, publicly, freely, confidentially, honestly and fairly. This service research uses a qualitative descriptive analysis approach method. The results of this socialization show an active increase in participatory supervision by participants, namely youth, students and youth organizations in monitoring and supervising the stages of the regional elections, namely by using the strategy of inviting other youth friends in the form of millennial voters or beginner voters or voters. women's base not to get involved in money politics and not get involved in spreading regional election hoaxes on social media or other media. Because of the massive black campaign and indications of money political movements, it is certain that it will harm the dignity of democracy. With strict participatory supervision, fraud in elections such as money politics, vote manipulation and voter intimidation can be minimized, as well as ensuring an honest and fair election process.]]>

<![CDATA[Hypertension is a condition in which blood vessels have high blood pressure (systolic blood pressure ?140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ? 90 mmHg). This community service aims to invite the public to understand the emergency management of the elderly with hypertension. This community service was carried out on 30 hypertension patients. This activity includes; blood pressure checks and education on emergency management of the elderly with hypertension. The knowledge evaluation instrument used a hypertension knowledge questionnaire and blood pressure assessment using a sphygmomanometer. The provision of emergency education for the elderly with hypertension increased the knowledge score, the score before 42 and the score after 83 so that the post-test score increased by 98% from the pre-test score. The results of blood pressure examination for the elderly with a TD of > 140/90 mmHg were 21 people (70%) and the elderly with a TD of < 140/90 mmHg were 9 people (30%). Providing emergency education for the elderly with hypertension can increase the knowledge of the elderly related to hypertension so that the quality of life is maintained.]]>

<![CDATA[Encouraging development and strengthening can be the right way to overcome generation Z unemployment, and at the same time be an important step in building a strong economy in the future. This service activity is in the form of training, which is packaged in an entrepreneurship seminar. This activity aims to provide insight and motivation for students with the hope of becoming successful young entrepreneurs and can open up job opportunities to reduce unemployment. This activity was carried out by MA Bahrul Ulum, Besuk District, Probolinggo Regency with class XII participants. The implementation method uses stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages, focusing on the positive impact of participation in entrepreneurship seminar training. The results of this service, the school welcomed well and the participants participated in the activities very enthusiastically during the implementation with 90% of the participants attending and the participants gaining knowledge reached 70% of the participants' understanding, to become a young entrepreneur with more confidence. The implementation of this entrepreneurship seminar training activity has a positive impact on increasing the knowledge of participants to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in themselves by holding entrepreneurial principles that are creative, always innovating, taking risks and taking responsibility. It can be concluded that this seminar activity is the first step for students in doing entrepreneurship so that it can be developed in individual knowledge and skills that can be useful for society and to create job opportunities.]]>

<![CDATA[The month of Ramadhan is expected to be the moment for Moslems to carry out religious and good deeds. In this holy month. In line with this momentum, in Ramadhan 2024, our team – the team of Community Service Program from Sahod University, together with other Community Service teams carried out a community service program in the form of an educational program about Family Communication at the Kelurahan Cililitan, East Jakarta. This program was to express our concern and care towards the community’s problems by distributing food and organizing educational program to prevent and suggesting solution to juvenile delinquincies. This program was held on April 3rd, 2024, at the auditorium of Ruang Publik Terpadu Ramah Anak (RPTRA) Cicilitan, East Jakarta. There were 60 participants, who consisted of cadre, yang terdiri dari kader, public figure and residents of the Cililitan village, East Jakarta. The activity started with a main material about “Building a Healthy Family: which were continued with distribution of food supplies. This program was warmly accepted by all participants and the Head of Village and RPTRA, and they addressed their hope that it could be an ongoing program.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and develop abilities, as well as motivate high school students in terms of public speaking and self-imaging. This community service activity was carried out at Santa Maria High School Yogyakarta. The method of implementation is collecting initial data, analyzing problems, formulating solutions, and implementing training with a focus on improving the soft skills of the students. The results of this service, the school was very welcomed, and the students participated in the training and mentoring with great enthusiasm. As a result, the students consider that public speaking skills are important to master from an early age because these skills have many crucial benefits for their personal and professional development. Not only that but building their personal branding as early as high school is useful for positively establishing their own identity and reputation, as well as preparing them for a future in the competitive world of work. Having a good self-image can give students a leg up in securing scholarships, college places, or jobs.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service is entitled Syukuran Hasil Bumi (Sabumi) in Garatengah Village, Japara District, Kuningan Regency with KKN MBKM Students of Muhammadiyah Kuningan University. This research method was conducted using a quantitative approach supported by quantitative data. The quantitative method was carried out using a survey method on respondents, namely the Garatengah village community and village officials. The results of the PkM show that the various potentials that Garatengah Village has, KKN MBKM students from Muhammadiyah Kuningan University of Garatengah Village group then contribute to sabumi (village birthday) activities. One of them is the village harvest thanksgiving event once a year. This activity is designed to preserve the garatengah urban forest and honor the ancestors of garatengah village. Where the sabumi event contains goat slaughtering, surrounding the urban forest and singing and walking while carrying the tread of the village of Garatengah. This activity is held once a year on Friday keliwon.]]>

<![CDATA[Acne (Acne) is a type of skin health problem that is often found in teenagers. Acne can interfere with a person's appearance and can cause discomfort due to the pain it causes. Honey is an ingredient that contains high antioxidants. The antioxidant properties of honey are caused by various components in honey, including flavonoids, phenolics, vitamin C, amino acids. Olive oil contains very high levels of vitamin E, vitamin E itself functions to care for the skin so it is very suitable to be used as a mixture for acne removal masks. Antioxidant substances, as a mask mixture to soften the skin. Olive oil masks can be used to rejuvenate facial skin, or remove dead skin cells from acne scars. In contrast to external acne-removing cosmetics on the market, olive oil cannot remove acne scars directly, but requires patience to achieve maximum results, but of course it is safer than chemical-based cosmetics.]]>

<![CDATA[This PKM activity aims to foster the reading interest of elementary school students SD Negeri 09 indralaya ulak segelung village organ ilir district, reading plays a very important social role in human life. The more content a person reads, the wider the scope of his thinking. The problem that arises is the lack of student interest in reading to support reading instruction. This is due to students' lack of understanding of the text to be read and lack of vocabulary mastery, including not knowing how to read correctly in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. This research method is a direct approach with the research location observation method. The type of data is qualitative data or in descriptive form, the data source is primary data. The result of this service is that students' interest in reading today cannot be said to be adequate in supporting the smooth teaching of reading. Starting from this fact, the author tries to deliver several possible teacher efforts in increasing students' interest in reading.]]>

<![CDATA[The socialization of political participation in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections in South Buton Regency was carried out by the Panwaslu of Batuatas Sub-district with the aim of increasing public awareness of their voting rights and political roles. This socialization uses a Marxist socialism perspective to explain how social class and power influence the political process. The methods used included discussions, seminars and the utilization of social media to reach more layers of society. The results show an increase in political understanding, especially among marginalized groups, as well as increased participation in election monitoring. With more critical political awareness, the community is expected to elect leaders who truly represent the interests of the people and maintain the integrity of local democracy. This activity contributes to efforts to build a more inclusive and equitable political system in South Buton District.]]>
