Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of the use of the Team games tournament learning model on student learning outcomes on theme 4 subtheme of Work Around grade IV SD. This study uses quantitative methods with Pre-Experimental Design design, applying One Group Pretest-Posttest research design with class V SD Gracia Sustain selected as a sample of 30 students and sampling using saturated sampling technique, where the entire population is sampled.The results of data analysis and hypothesis testing show that the application of the Team games tournament learning model has a significant impact on student learning achievement. The significance value (2-tailed) obtained is smaller than 0.05 (0.00 <0.05), and the tcount value is greater than the ttable (13.152 > 2.048). Therefore, the H0 hypothesis is rejected and the Ha hypothesis is accepted, so it is concluded that the use of the Team games tournament learning model has a positive impact on the learning outcomes of grade IV students on the subtheme Jobs Around Me grade IV Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of using powerpoint on thematic learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Harapan 1 Medan with a research method in the form of an experiment in the form of a quasi experimental design. The research population of class IV A students totalled 27 students and class IV B students totalled 27 students. Data collection techniques used in the form of measurement techniques and data collection tools in the form of essay-shaped tests as many as 12 questions. In line with data analysis, the average final test of the experimental class was 65.34 and the control class was 53.7. The results of the t-test hypothesis test obtained tcount 7.86 while dk (27+27-2 =52) with the level (α = 5%) obtained ttable 0.68 means tcount>ttable. So that Ha is accepted. So according to the results of the calculation of effect size (ES), the value of ES = 1.85 is obtained, which means that the application of powerpoint in thematic learning affects the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Swasta Harapan Medan by 96%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of the NHT type cooperative model on the learning outcomes of integrated thematic learning of third grade students of SD Swasta Supriyadi Medan with a research type of True Experiment Design in the form of Two Group Pretest Postest Design. The sampling technique used was Cluster Random Sampling. The samples in this study were third grade students of SD Swasta Supriyadi Medan III-A as the experimental class and IV-B as the control class totalling 8 students. Based on the research that has been done, it is obtained tcount> ttable, namely 6.08> 1.860 with α = 0.05 which means H0 is rejected, the average learning outcomes measured by postest after learning, namely in the experimental class 80 and control class 70.63. So that Ha is accepted, namely there is an effect of the NHT Type Co-operative learning model on the learning outcomes of integrated thematic learning of third grade students of SD Swasta Supriyadi Medan.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students seen from the results of the Midterm Examination I of class V MIS Juhari Ilmi, it is known that the percentage of completeness of knowledge scores is still low, this can be seen from the subjects of Indonesian Language 45%, Civics 30%, and Social Studies 60% with the completeness set by the teacher which is 77. So it can be seen that there are still many students who have not met the completeness. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of learning outcomes using the Kumon method in class V MIS Juhari Ilmi. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted in two cycles and the results showed an increase in the lesson plan of cycle I with an average of 81.5% good achievement, cycle II 94% very good achievement. Then, the implementation on the educator aspect of cycle I with an average of 83.5% good achievement, cycle II 92% very good achievement, while the implementation on the student aspect of cycle I with an average of 80% good achievement, cycle II 92% very good achievement. Furthermore, the assessment of students in improving learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 76.76 and cycle II an average of 85.9. So it is concluded that using this model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This class action research intends to improve student learning outcomes with the Team Assisted Individualisation learning model in class VI MIS Juhari Ilmi with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results showed an increase in the first cycle lesson plan with an average of 84.72% good achievement, increasing in cycle II to 94.44% very good achievement. The implementation of learning in the teacher aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 84.09% good achievement and cycle II was 95.45% very good achievement, while the implementation of learning in the student aspect obtained an average of 81.81% good achievement and in cycle II obtained an average of 95.45% very good achievement. Student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average score of 77.38 sufficient achievements and increased in cycle II to 87.49 good achievements. So it can be concluded that the Team Assisted Individualization learning model can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of extracurricular activities based on student character development. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The research subjects were the principal, deputy principal, teachers and students. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, inference and/or verification techniques. The research results show that student character development is based on extracurricular activities that have been implemented based on effective management principles which include planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating processes. Of the many extra-curricular activities, the Tahfzih Qur'an extra activity is the favorite activity of Al Rasyid Islamic Elementary School, Pekanbaru, as well as becoming an icon and characteristic and even a source of pride for the entire school community which is celebrated through the tahfizh graduation every year at well-known hotels in Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This paper aims to improve learner focus in the learning process by using an adaptive learning model. Adaptive learning can be defined as “the process of generating unique learning experiences for each learner based on the personality, interests, and performance of learners in order to achieve goals such as learner academic improvement, learner satisfaction, effective learning processes and so on. As for data collection in this writing using literature review or literature review by taking sources from journals, books and other scientific works. By using this learning model, it will increase the effectiveness of students in the learning process.

Abstract

Today, most Muslims are unaware of the meaning and nature of prayer. According to Quraish Shihab, a Muslim who understands the importance and values of education in prayer, his attitude, morals, and way of thinking must also be based on the Qur'an and Hadith. This document tries to examine the importance and importance of prayer for a servant of Allah SWT. Prayer is considered the greatest because prayer also has three human components; The first is gestures, the second is spoken language and the third is the instincts of the heart directed to Allah SWT. All these components can form good morals for a Muslim in dealing with Allah and others. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a research library approach which uses books, magazines and articles as the main sources. The results of this research show that prayer educates the soul, sharpens the mind, and enlightens the heart through the lantern of the majesty and greatness of Allah SWT which is implanted in the heart. Furthermore, prayer improves behavior and beautifies oneself with noble morals. In addition, prayer protects individuals from committing sins, violations and bad actions that Allah SWT hates

Abstract

Ramadan fasting is an important religious ritual according to Islamic law. Therefore, fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam and is mandatory for all Muslims who are ismuqaraf (mature and sensible) and are unable to practice it. As a religion that is full of educational and teaching values, Islam focuses on improving and developing the self and character of its followers. The religious practices contained therein, whatever their form, are always aimed at educating and advancing the servant. The obligations that Islam imposes on its people always contain wisdom and benefit for its people. Likewise with the command to fast. The aim of this research is to reveal the values of Islamic education contained in the implementation of the practice of fasting during Ramadan. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a research library approach which uses books, magazines and articles as the main sources. The results of this research show that the value of Islamic education is implied in fasting as an obligation that must be fulfilled once a year, so that every mukhallaf is motivated to carry out his wishes with deep sincerity and great enthusiasm. Rewards, wisdom and happiness from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.

Abstract

Children's story texts are events based on the time sequence experienced or in the form of imagination that tells the world of children. This story text is able to improve children's language skills through reading. The children's story text entitled "It's OK to be different" has an interesting story to research, namely effective sentences that will be analyzed using function, role and syntactic categories. This research aims to classify words in first grade Indonesian language textbooks at independent curriculum elementary schools. This research analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods. The technique used to collect data in this research is reading and note-taking, or listening. The results of this research can be found roles, functions and syntactic categories in first grade Indonesian language textbooks at independent curriculum elementary schools. This research is useful for helping students in the process of analyzing syntactic structures.
