Abstract

This article discusses the concepts of Islamic education contained in the book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim-Tariq at-Ta'allum by Sheikh Al-Zarnuji and its implementation in the context of Islamic education. This article begins with an explanation of the meaning of the concept and Islamic education. The concepts of Islamic education discussed include the objectives of Islamic education, the curriculum of Islamic education, the characteristics of teachers, the characteristics of students, learning manners, and learning methods. An explanation of the implementation of these concepts of Islamic education in the context of contemporary Islamic education is also discussed in this article. Overall, this article provides a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of Islamic education contained in the book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim-Tariq at-Ta'allum by Sheikh Al-Zarnuji and their implications in the practice of Islamic education today.

Abstract

The family is someone who is responsible for the social development of children. Because in essence, the family is the first and main forum for the growth and development of children. If the atmosphere in the family is good and pleasant, then the child will grow well, if not, the child's growth will certainly be hampered. Apart from being the first forum, the most important role in the family is to meet the child's needs, both physical and psychological. Meanwhile, mental health is a condition where an individual is free from all forms of symptoms of mental disorders. Mentally healthy individuals can function normally in living their lives, especially when adapting to face the problems that will be experienced throughout one's life. Meanwhile, children are a trust and a gift from God, in fact children are considered the most valuable assets compared to other assets.

Abstract

The practice rehearsal pairs strategy is a practice strategy in pairs with friends and groups. With practice rehearsal pairs learning strategies can make students more active in the learning process and can improve learning outcomes. Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers at MTsN Padang Panjang. There are still many student scores below KKM (80). For this reason, researchers are interested in implementing practice rehearsal pairs strategies in improving the learning outcomes student of grade VII A MTsN Padang Panjang. This type of research is an experiment with randomize control group only design, samples are selected using purposive sumpling techniques. This research use by two sample, the are experimental class and control class. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, namely class VII A as an experimental class and class VII D as a control class. The instrument used tests using the t-test hypothesis. data processing using SPSS. The implementation of the practice rehearsal pairs strategy in class VII A MTsN Padang Panjang jurisprudence subjects has gone well. This is evident from the results of supervision of the implementation of learning whose value is 90 with very good creteria. Student learning outcomes also improved after the implementation of the practice rehearsal pairs strategy. This is evident from the average score of the experimental class of 93 which is higher than the control class which gets an average score of 88. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a tcount result of 9,360> ttable 1,670 was obtained. So it can be concluded that the application of practice rehearsal pairs learning strategies is effective in improving student learning outcomes on fikih subject in class VII A MTsN Padang Panjang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the role of humans as a source of knowledge in the learning process, as well as how it is developed at various levels of education. The research method used is literature analysis with a qualitative approach. The data analyzed is secondary, coming from existing sources. The research results show that humans, in this context, act as seekers, stores, processors and presenters of information that helps in the learning process and achieves the desired learning goals. In the world of education, the role of teachers as learning facilitators is very important. The level of education must be adjusted to human development as a source of knowledge. Teachers at primary education level, for example, must create a learning environment that is safe, comfortable and arouses students' interest in learning. At the secondary level, creative and interactive learning approaches are necessary. Meanwhile, at the top level, the use of technology and digital resources is key. Apart from teachers, various figures such as speakers, discussion forums, and online learning resources also play a role in individual development as sources of knowledge.

Abstract

Based on observations at SDN 067245. Education is the most important component in advancing a country, and no aspect of life can be separated from the role of education. (Mustadi, 2018) In this case, the parts of education which include educators, students, curriculum, educational environment, facilities and sources of learning tools must support each other to achieve educational goals. Sport plays an important role in supporting the development of gross motor skills in elementary school-aged children. Regular physical activity can help improve a child's strength, coordination, agility and balance. Apart from that, exercise can also improve children's cardiovascular health, physical fitness and self-confidence. The type of research used by researchers is Qualitative Research. Where the data collection instruments used are in the form of observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews and field notes.

Abstract

Curriculum review is a crucial process for ensuring that educational programs remain relevant, effective, and aligned with current needs and societal expectations. This journal focuses on the examination of curriculum review processes, exploring various approaches, methodologies, and frameworks employed to evaluate and refine curriculum content, pedagogy, and assessment strategies. The journal delves into the critical aspects of curriculum review, encompassing stakeholder involvement, data collection and analysis, identification of strengths and weaknesses, and the formulation of recommendations for improvement. It also highlights the significance of contextual factors, such as cultural, social, and economic considerations, in shaping curriculum review processes.

Abstract

Gurindam Dua Belas is an ancient Malay poem by Raja Ali Haji. These twelve letters were written in the form of Gurindham poetry and contain many moral messages from educational, religious and cultural aspects. Apart from being a scholar, he is also known as the father of literature and a national hero of the Riau Islands province. He named it Gurindam twelve because there are twelve chapters consisting of two stanzas, each chapter consisting of two lines of the same poem, forming one complete unit. The first line contains questions, problems, or agreements, and the second line contains answers or results from the first line's questions or agreements. Gurindam twelve not only sounds beautiful when pronounced, but also conveys many moral messages, including appeals and advice in accordance with religious teachings and formal education. Gurindam twelve is specifically for all age groups, including children's obligations to their parents, parents' obligations to their children, the obligations of nobles towards society, karma, the advice of Almighty God, and living prosperously in society. Through his poem 'Gurindam Dua Belas', Raja Ali Haji aims to provide learning about consistent values, norms and ethics through teaching religion, education, politics, philosophy and law.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve learning outcomes for class VIII B students at MTs Nur Ibrahimy, totaling 38 students. This research is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection technique is through tests to determine student learning outcomes using the PBL learning model. The research is considered successful if the average student learning outcome score reaches the KKM, namely 70 with a classical completion percentage of 80%. The results of the research showed that in cycle I the average score obtained by students was 65 with a classical learning completeness percentage of 56% and in cycle II data was obtained on student learning outcomes with an average student score of 77.8 with a classical learning completeness percentage of 89%. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VIII B students at MTs Nur Ibrahimy.

Abstract

This article examines the development of character values ​​of Indonesian society based on the thoughts of Muhammadiyah K.H Ahmad Dahlan in efforts to reform Islamic education. Dahlan's thinking played a crucial role in social and educational transformation in Indonesia at the beginning of the 20th century. This article uses historical analysis based on a historical and literary analysis approach to investigate the development of the values ​​and character of Indonesian society with Muhammadiyah thinking. This article highlights K.H Ahmad Dahlan's contribution in developing character values ​​such as leadership, independence and tolerance. The implementation of these values ​​in the Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia and their impact on the social and moral development of society are also highlighted. This article aims to provide an understanding of how the thoughts of K.H Ahmad Dahlan and Muhammadiyah shaped the character values ​​of Indonesian society and their relevance in contemporary Islamic education. As a result, Muhammadiyah's thinking in building schools and internalizing values ​​in society has improved after colonialism which was carried out a long time ago.

Abstract

Skills include a variety of mental activities, such as thinking, reasoning and problem solving. Skills can be physical, cognitive, social and emotional. Physical skills involve motor coordination, balance and flexibility, while non-physical skills involve creativity, analysis and reasoning. Social skills include interaction and communication with others, while emotional skills are concerned with recognizing and managing emotions. Skills play an important role in education, helping students prepare for the complex challenges of an ever-changing world. Global competition demands the ability to compete and innovate, while the growth of soft skills such as communication and leadership is supported by skills education. Skills education in Islam emphasizes moral and ethical values, involving religious values, character and morality in individual development. The importance of skills in education creates individuals who are ready to face the future with success, both in career and personal life. Value education in Islam includes intellectual, moral and character aspects, forming individuals who are moral and able to live their daily lives according to religious teachings.
