Abstract

Business Process Management is a systematic approach to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. However, implementation is not free from various risks that can hinder the achievement of organizational goals. This article aims to analyze various risks that arise during the BPM implementation process, including technical, organizational and human risks. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature studies and in-depth interviews with several companies that have implemented . The results of the analysis show that the most dominant risks come from a lack of top management involvement, employee resistance, and information technology system incompatibility. The implications of this study provide important insights into planning and mitigating risks in future BPM projects.

Abstract

Rapid changes in the digital era require companies to continue to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness in order to maintain customer satisfaction. Business Process Management (BPM) exists as a systematic approach to analyzing, designing, implementing and monitoring business processes to produce optimal value for customers. This research aims to analyze the influence of BPM on customer satisfaction in the context of business digitalization. A quantitative method with a survey approach was used to collect data from 100 respondents consisting of operational managers and customers of digital companies. The research results show that BPM implementation significantly increases customer satisfaction through increasing service speed, quality consistency, and ease of digital access. These findings underscore the importance of BPM as a managerial strategy in the digital era to maintain customer loyalty.

Abstract

This article ties in directly related to the growing attention toward the concept of business models in the context of international business (IB), using the energy transition as an empirical backdrop to examine its significance in the internationalization process of firms. The global transformation in the energy sector presents challenges for nearly all industries, though certain sectors face particularly substantial obstacles from an IB perspective. This study investigates a group of European companies that initially operated under stringent regulations and partial state ownership, until government-led market liberalization created opportunities for increased competition and broader international expansion. These companies were compelled to adapt their business models in response to the shifting landscape, while new entrants began penetrating the market by leveraging technologies and innovative business models in the energy sector.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah mendorong pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kota Malang untuk mengadopsi pendekatan manajemen yang lebih adaptif dan terstruktur. Salah satu pendekatan tersebut adalah Business Process Management (BPM) yang bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing bisnis. Namun, penerapan BPM tidak lepas dari berbagai risiko, terutama pada sektor UMKM yang memiliki keterbatasan sumber daya. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai risiko yang dihadapi oleh UMKM di Kota Malang dalam menerapkan BPM di era digital. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara dan observasi pada beberapa pelaku UMKM, ditemukan bahwa risiko terbesar meliputi keterbatasan teknologi, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan kurangnya pemahaman terhadap konsep BPM. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis untuk memitigasi risiko dan mengoptimalkan implementasi BPM dalam konteks lokal.

Abstract

Sustainable business is a critical necessity in responding to global environmental, social, and economic challenges. Business Process Management (BPM) offers a systematic approach to designing, analyzing, and optimizing business processes in line with sustainability principles. This article aims to examine the role of BPM in promoting business sustainability through a review of recent literature. This research uses a literature review method by analyzing 25 reputable journal articles published in the last five years. The results indicate that integrating BPM with sustainability goals improves resource efficiency, reduces carbon emissions, and strengthens corporate governance. This study also reveals that BPM contributes to data-driven decision-making to support long-term sustainability strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) dan persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian online konsumen Flicka Bags Official Shop di Shopee, dengan fokus pada konsumen di Kota Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, melibatkan 110 responden. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah eWOM dan persepsi harga, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah keputusan pembelian online. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang divalidasi dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eWOM dan persepsi harga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, terhadap keputusan pembelian online. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi literatur pemasaran digital dan menjadi referensi bagi pelaku usaha untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran melalui pengelolaan ulasan online dan strategi penetapan harga.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of healing activities on the mental condition of Generation Z in Serang City. Generation Z is known as a group highly vulnerable to mental pressure due to academic demands, social interactions, and digital media exposure. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed to determine the relationship between the intensity of healing activities and respondents' mental stability. The findings reveal that healing activities have a positive and significant effect on Generation Z's mental condition. Routine healing practices, such as nature tourism, quality time, self-care, and engaging with entertaining social media content, have been shown to relieve stress and enhance emotional balance. This research is expected to serve as a basis for developing mental well-being programs for youth and young adults in Serang City.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the comparison of consumption, savings, and investment theories in the perspective of conventional and Islamic economics. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature studies from various relevant sources. The results show that conventional consumption theory emphasises income as the main factor in consumption decisions, while Islamic economics considers spiritual aspects, blessings, and social justice. In terms of savings and investment, the conventional approach focuses on capital accumulation and economic growth, while the Islamic perspective emphasises the principle of wealth distribution, the prohibition of usury, and the orientation towards maslahat. This research reveals that the Islamic economic system offers a more holistic and equitable approach to managing consumption, savings and investment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between inflation and unemployment in Indonesia using the Phillips Curve theory approach. Inflation and unemployment are two important indicators of macroeconomic stability, and the Phillips Curve theory states that there is a trade-off between the two. This research uses a library research method with an analytical descriptive and interpretative approach, based on academic literature as well as the latest macroeconomic data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The results show that the negative relationship between inflation and unemployment as explained in the Phillips Curve does not fully apply in the Indonesian context. Recent data shows a simultaneous decline in both inflation and unemployment, which contradicts the classical theory and indicates a “flattening of the Phillips Curve” phenomenon. This finding suggests the need for a more comprehensive and contextualized approach to economic policy in understanding Indonesia's macroeconomic dynamics. Therefore, the Phillips Curve remains an important initial reference, but its application needs to consider the dynamics of the Indonesian economy which is influenced by structural and external factors.

Abstract

Persaingan bisnis antara sepatu lokal dengan sepatu import terus mengalami peningkatan, bisnis sepatu lokal yang terus berkembang adalah Sepatu Ventela. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis word of mouth dan brand awareness terhadap minat beli konsumen Sepatu Ventela di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang disebarkan secara langsung pada 100 mahasiswa Politeknik Negeri Malang, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis regresi berganda dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan termuan penelitian disimpulkan secara parsial dan simultan word of mouth dan brand awareness berpengaruh terhadap minat beli konsumen. Sepatu Ventela diharapkan terus membuat promosi yang menarik agar tetap menjadi bahan perbincangan perbincangan dan terus melakukan inovasi dan kolaborasi dengan para entertainer terkenal untuk dapat terus meningkatkan kesadaran merek masyarakat mengenai Sepatu Ventela.
