Abstract

In educational institutions, learning performance is an important indicator for measuring the success of teaching learning. The goal of learning is the change in behavior that a person is expected to after a learning process. Factors that can affect the difference in learning outcomes of each student are internal and external factors. Internal factors are factors that exist in the individual who is studying. External factors are factors that exist outside the individual. Many things include internal and external factors, including long hours of study, environment and organization. The implementation of the learning process on campus cannot guarantee whether students can the IP as expected. The researchers therefore wanted to look at the impact of school hours, the environment, and the organization on the IP of Class C students in Development Economics. The research approach used by the author in this study is quantitative research. The total sample examined was 41 people based on the criteria that have been determined. The research uses the probability sampling technique, which is the method of Random Sampling. All members of the population are assumed to have equal opportunities to be selected as research samples.

Abstract

Data registered at the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) from 2011 to 2022 were used for this study. The poverty rate and human development index (HDI) are used as independent variables against the dependent variable. To determine how much influence the independent variables have on the Linear Probability Model (LPM) regression coefficient, the data was used with the t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination and model fixity by performing the LPM model. Furthermore, the F test included HDI and poverty rate, which were measured through the test. The results showed that the human development index has a negative and insignificant impact on the poverty rate of Palangkaraya City, while unemployment has a positive and significant impact.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the objective to investigate the role of internal audit in enhancing the effectiveness of the internal control system for inventory. Efficient and effective inventory management is crucial in the healthcare environment to ensure the availability of medical supplies, proper resource utilization, and cost control. The study employs a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews with internal auditors, inventory managers, and relevant staff. Data analysis focuses on evaluating the existing internal control system, the internal audit strategies applied, and their impact on management effectiveness.

The research methodology involves the systematic collection of large-scale datasets, followed by advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights. The findings underscore the substantial improvements achieved in the precision and reliability of official statistics through the infusion of big data methodologies. The transformative potential of integrating big data into official statistics is explored, offering valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in the field.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the factors that have the most influence on student GPA such as learning at home, the quality of teaching on campus, and the organisations they join. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach, with multiple regression analysis. The classical assumption test passed the test. Result: The variable number of organisations followed, the amount of campus teaching, and the amount of study at home together contributed 69.2% to the student's cumulative grade point average, the remaining 30.8% was influenced by other factors outside the model. The three independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the cumulative grade point average based on the F test. In the t test, the variables of learning at home and teaching on campus play a positive and significant role in improving student academic achievement as measured by GPA, while the number of organisations followed has no significant effect with a negative relationship.

Abstract

Generation Z, often known as Gen Z, is a term used to refer to a group of people who grew up in the digital era, where technology has become an important part of their lives, especially regarding online games that are viral to this day, especially among young people or Gen Z, Playing online games is an activity that has become a trend among Generation Z. The internet offers a lot of convenience and comfort to human civilization. This can at least be seen in the digital economy, artificial intelligence, big data, robotics, and so on. However, the internet can also have negative impacts if it is not used properly. One of them is online games for Gen Z. Technological developments as well as the rampant presence of online games have played an important role in shaping their perception of body image. The city of Cimahi, as an example of a developing environment, provides an interesting conflict or context for understanding how online games influence psychologists' self-perceptions and negative attitudes. This research uses an exploratory qualitative method with a phenomenological theory approach. This theory is used to gain an understanding of how subjects understand and perceive the world around them. The aim of this research is to find out how Generation Z or individuals aged 12-28 years in Cimahi City respond to the impact of online games on self-perception and mental and negative attitudes. The results of this research show that the use of online game application-based entertainment as a whole influences Gen Z's self-insight in terms of self-perception and their courage and influences their mentality. Based on in-depth interviews with 30 subjects in Cimahi City who met the criteria, it was stated that some people experience feelings of insecurity and are easily emotional and emotionally unstable and can even affect their mental health at high levels such as depression. As a result, this research provides more understanding about how to balance yourself so as not to become addicted to online games in Cimahi City.

Abstract

The implementation aims to investigate and analyze the application of digital promotion using blog media for UMKM in Sumurwelut Village, Lakarsantri District, Surabaya City. Through a qualitative approach and case study design, this study explores the extent to which UMKM in the village use blogs as a digital promotion tool. The results indicate that UMKM have generally adopted digital promotion strategies through blogs with content involving product descriptions, customer reviews, special offers, and industry-related articles. UMKM that are active in creating high-quality content through blogs experience a significant increase in visibility and sales. Supporting factors include a good understanding of the blog platform, the involvement of UMKM owners, and creativity in presenting content. Technical obstacles, and lack of understanding of the benefits of digital promotion are the main obstacles. The positive response from consumers to digital promotion through blogs shows increased trust, and a tendency to interact further. These findings provide deep insights into the effectiveness of digital promotion in UMKM and refer to recommendations for the development of better digital promotion strategies, including increasing UMKM' understanding of the potential of digital promotion and optimizing interaction with consumers through blog platforms. It is expected that this internship will make a significant contribution to stakeholders, including UMKM, local governments, and UMKM supporting institutions, in supporting UMKM business growth in the digital era.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research, this research was conducted in class X6 of SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar. Based on the researcher's initial observations at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar, several problems were found that affected student learning outcomes, especially physical fitness material. As an alternative to solving existing problems, researchers provide a solution in the form of putting into practice a cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type with the aim of improving the physical fitness results of class X6 students. This investigation is classroom action research, this investigation was carried out in class X6 of SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar. A population of 45 people was used, and the entirety was used as a sample. The cycle in this research was carried out until it reached completion in accordance with the KKTP that had been determined at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar, namely 75. After implementing the STAD type cooperative learning model, the average final score of students increased beyond the KKTP that had been determined. It can be concluded that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve physical fitness learning outcomes in class X6 students at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar.

Abstract

Protozoa is a microscopic, one-cell organism that belongs to the protista group. Some protozoa species are pathogenic and can cause a variety of serious diseases in humans, which are often spread through water, contaminated food, or vectors such as mosquitoes and flies. Diseases caused by protozoa, such as malaria, amebiasis, giardiasis, and leishmaniasis, have a significant impact on public health, especially in developing countries with poor sanitation and limited health systems. This research uses a method (literature review) with a keyword search for articles on protozoa disease against humans in the context of articles in Indonesia. Data collection techniques using search processes in Google Scholar Research results show that increased awareness, education, and training for medical personnel are also important to ensure that protozoa infections can be diagnosed and treated effectively, thus minimizing the impact of the disease on society. Overall, the study emphasizes the importance of sanitation, personal hygiene, health education, routine screening, and vector control to reduce the prevalence of intestinal protozoa infections and improve the health of people with weakened immunity

Abstract

The patient is 13 year old female, came with her family to the Cut Meutia Hospital Polyclinic with complaints of a red rash spreading across the back of her thighs, stomach and face which had been accompanied by itching for the past 3 months. Complaints of itching come and go and get worse when she was sweat more after activity. The patient also complained that the itching made her sleepless. This primary data was obtained through autoanamnesa, alloanamnesa and physical examination at Cut Meutia Hospital. The assessment is carried out based on the initial holistic diagnosis, process and end of the visit to the clinic with by quantitatively and qualitatively. The interventions carried out include education regarding the causes and prevention that can be done for tinea corporis as well as personal hygiene that can be carried out in order to prevent the emergence of tinea corporis and break the chain of transmission. Apart from that, education regarding management and explaining complications that can occur so that patients want to seek treatment and take preventive measures.
