Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) efforts to improve conceptual understanding of Islamic Jurisprudence learning materials using the Student Facilitator and Explaining cooperative learning model in class VIII MTs Miftahul Huda Lehan, (2) improving conceptual understanding of Islamic Jurisprudence learning materials in class VIII MTs Miftahul Huda Lehan using the Student Facilitator and Explaining cooperative learning model.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of the research used were 32 students of class VIII MTs Miftahul Huda Lehan in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of cycle I (1 meeting) and cycle II (2 meetings). Data collection techniques used observation sheets, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The criteria for the success of this research, namely student learning activity, is said to be successful if an average percentage of 70% of the number of students in one class who are active in learning activities is obtained. While student learning outcomes of at least 75% of the number of students have met the Minimum Completion Criteria (MCC) of 75.The results of the study showed that the use of the Student Facilitator and Explaining cooperative learning model in class VIII MTs Miftahul Huda Lehan succeeded in improving students' understanding of concepts in the Fiqh learning material.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of social media use on student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects at MTs Nurul Hidayah. The problem underlying this study is the tendency of students who often spend time on social media, which is feared to interfere with their focus on the learning process. The approach used in this study is quantitative with a causal design to see the cause and effect relationship between two variables. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive methods and statistical analysis including validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis tests with simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the use of social media by students was at a high level, but still controlled. Statistical analysis indicated a significant influence between the use of social media and student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects, with a satisfactory average value. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of social media plays a positive role in improving student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects at MTs Nurul Hidayah.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has changed the paradigm of learning in the current digital era. Teachers are required to be able to integrate technology into the learning process in order to improve students' critical and creative thinking skills. Critical thinking skills are the main skills that students must have in order to be able to sort, analyze, and evaluate information appropriately amidst the rapid flow of digital information. Therefore, the learning strategies implemented by teachers must be able to facilitate the development of students' thinking skills by utilizing various digital media and technologies effectively. This study aims to identify and analyze teacher strategies in improving students' critical thinking skills in the technological era, especially through digital literacy. The strategies implemented include learning planning that integrates digital media such as laptops, projectors, internet networks, and online learning platforms (e-learning). The implementation of learning uses problem-based learning methods and collaborative learning that encourage students to be active in discussions, case analysis, and problem solving together. Learning evaluation is also carried out interactively by utilizing technology to measure students' critical thinking skills more accurately and in real-time. In addition, teachers provide motivation and rewards as an effort to increase students' self-confidence in critical thinking. The use of audio-visual media, videos, and interactive modules is also an important strategy to attract students' interest in learning and link learning materials to real-life contexts. Teachers act as facilitators who guide students in mastering information, analyzing various points of view, and developing creative solutions to problems faced. Digital literacy education is also taught to equip students with the ability to sort valid information and avoid the spread of false information. By implementing these strategies, students' critical thinking skills can increase significantly, so that they are better prepared to face the challenges of learning in the digital era and are able to actively participate in the information society. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of teachers in developing critical thinking skills through the use of technology and digital literacy as part of the 21st century competencies that students must have.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Islamic counseling using Sholawat Fatih therapy in addressing career anxiety in a student. A qualitative method with a phenomenological approach was employed, where the author served as a counselor providing guidance through Sholawat Fatih therapy. Data were gathered via in-depth interviews and analyzed descriptively to assess changes in the student's level of career anxiety. Descriptive analysis based on relevant literature data regarding the research variables was used for data interpretation. Instruments included observation sheets and comprehensive interviews. The Results of the study showed that individual counseling incorporating Sholawat Fatih therapy effectively reduced students' career anxiety levels..

Abstract

Bullying in elementary schools is a serious issue that negatively impacts children’s physical, psychological, and social development. This study aims to identify the forms of bullying, its causal factors, the resulting impacts, and the handling efforts that can be implemented in elementary schools. The method used is a literature review by examining various relevant scientific sources. The findings indicate that bullying is influenced by factors such as children's temperament, family communication patterns, and an unconducive school environment. The impacts of bullying are highly detrimental to victims, including anxiety, decreased academic achievement, trauma, and even suicidal ideation, and also have negative effects on the perpetrators. Effective handling efforts involve the active roles of teachers, parents, and the school through character education, instilling religious values, empathetic communication, and emotional approaches. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of collaboration among all parties to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive school environment for optimal child development.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan suatu usaha yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar peserta didik dikelas yang pastinya masing-masing dari mereka memiliki latar belakang yang berbeda-beda dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai implementasi model pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam pendidikan agama islam di SMP Negeri 1 Kaligondang Purbalingga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Kemudian data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Setelah data terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik Miles dan Huberman. Data yang sudah dianalisis diuji keabsahan datanya menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian, implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu, tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Adapun tahap pertama perencanaan, guru harus menyiapkan bahan ajar, media pembelajaran, modul ajar, serta asesmen. Kedua tahap pelaksanaan, dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. Dalam kegiatan inti terdapat tiga proses pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yaitu diferensiasi konten, proses dan produk. Ketiga tahap evaluasi, dilakukan dalam bentuk asesmen yang digunakan yaitu asesmen diagnostik, formatif dan sumatif. Secara keseluruhan model pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada pembelajaran PAI di sekolah ini sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the use of problem based learning (PBL) models in natural and social science (IPAS) subjects to improve student learning outcomes in class V of private Islamic elementary schools in Tarbiyah Islamiyah Jelutung, Jambi City in 2024/2025. This study uses classroom action research (PTK) by implementing II cycles or action rounds. Data collection techniques in this study use planning, observation, documentation, test and non-test instruments in learning using the problem based learning (PBL) model. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in natural and social science (IPAS) learning using the problem based learning (PBL) model, this is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of test results from cycle I and cycle II. In the pre-cycle, namely 29.41%, cycle I, namely 47% of students who completed this had not reached the percentage of completeness, and continued with cycle II, namely 76% of students who completed had met the completeness. The findings of this study state that by implementing the problem based learning (PBL) model, it can improve student learning outcomes in natural and social science (IPAS) subjects with the material Harmony and Ecosystems.

Abstract

The study of philosophy of science in the context of hadith science through epistemology, ontology, and axiology approaches. Hadith as the second source of Islamic teachings after the Qur'an has an important role in shaping the law, ethics, and culture of Muslims. Using the literature study method, this article explores how philosophy of science can be used to understand the basis of knowledge (epistemology), the essence of the existence of hadith (ontology), and the value and benefits of its application in life (axiology). This research finds that the philosophy of science approach helps to strengthen the validity, depth, and relevance of hadith studies in the contemporary era, while affirming the importance of Islamic values in the development of science. Thus, this article contributes to the integration between philosophy and Islamic studies in enriching the rational and scientific understanding of hadith.

Abstract

One of them is spreading hoaxes, a major challenge that arises in the current technological era that threatens social, political, and religious structures. The purpose of this article is to thoroughly examine the ethical principles of information delivery based on the hadiths taught by the Prophet Muhammad, as well as their relationship to efforts to combat hoaxes in society. The method used in this study is qualitative using a literature research methodology on true hadiths related to honesty, certainty of information (tabayyun), prohibit spreading false information, and the importance of communication intentions. Hadith, according to the research, the Prophet has strong moral values in changing responsive communication behavior. The ethical values contained in the hadith can help build public awareness to prevent hoaxes and build a healthy information culture in the modern era. This is because the hadith can serve as a normative foundation to build public awareness not to easily believe and spread false information.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the difficulties faced by lower-grade elementary school students in reading, and to reveal the efforts made by teachers to improve the reading skills of lower-grade students in three elementary schools in Nagari III Koto across three different grade levels. Through this descriptive qualitative research method, various efforts made by teachers to enhance the reading ability of lower-grade elementary students are identified and analyzed. The characteristics indicating reading difficulties among lower-grade students include stuttering while spelling, lack of vocabulary knowledge, difficulty in combining words with affixes, and an inability to recognize vocabulary properly. Teachers employ various strategies, such as providing extra study time, assigning homework that allows students to practice daily even outside of school, and offering motivation. Other strategies include individualized guidance, forming study groups, and creating engaging and diverse learning experiences to increase students' interest in reading. Furthermore, parental involvement plays a crucial role in children's reading abilities. Economic conditions often become a reason why parents rarely dedicate time to their children's reading development, thereby affecting their reading skills.
