Asian Journal of Early Childhood and Elementary Education [3025-7565 (Print) and 3025-6917 (Online)] is a double-blind peer-reviewed, and open-access journal to disseminating all information contributing to the understanding and development of Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Its scope is international in that it welcomes articles from academics, researchers, graduate students, and policymakers. The articles published may take the form of original research, theoretical analyses, and critical reviews. AJECEE publishes 6 editions a year in February, April, June, August, October, and December. This journal has been indexed by Harvard University, Boston University, Dimensions, Scilit, Crossref, Web of Science Garuda, Google Scholar, and Base.

The research purpose is to determine how well children at Mutiara Agam Kindergarten, ages 5-6, can recognize numbers when they utilize a spinning wheel. This research motivation is the fact that there are still many students who have not mastered the ability to count 10-20, which causes children's ability to recognize numbers 10-20 to not developThis kind of research is quantitative and employs quasi-experimental techniques. All of the students enrolled at Mutiara Agam Kindergarten served as the research population, and purposive sampling was used to choose the 15 students from each of the two classes, B1 and B2. Tests are used in the data gathering technique; these are five-point statements. Tests for normality, homogeneity, hypothesis, and effect size are used in data analysis procedures. The research results shown that the playing activity with a spinning wheel in the class for experimental had a significant influence compared to the controlled class with the activity of using number cards on the skill to recognize numbers in children at Mutiara Agam Kindergarten. With a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.05. The effect size test results obtained a d value of 0.98, which means that the d < 1 value is in the category in medium. Thus, it is conslussion that the activity of playing with a spinning wheel on the skill to recognize numbers in children aged 5-6 years at Mutiara Agam Kindergarten is effective.

Developing self-confidence is an essential aspect that needs to be nurtured in elementary school students from an early age. This research aims to explore ways to build public speaking skills to enhance self-confidence in elementary school students. This research employs a literature study approach by analyzing various relevant literature. The results show that public speaking skills can help students become more confident, express their opinions bravely, and communicate effectively. Teachers can implement innovative teaching methods such as role-playing, group presentations, and storytelling to practice these skills. Support from the students' surrounding environment also plays a crucial role in developing their self-confidence. This research concludes that building public speaking skills from an early age is essential for elementary school students to boost their self-confidence and prepare them to face future challenges.

The aim of this research is to determine the factors that cause reading difficulties (dyslexia) in students in class IV elementary school and the efforts of teachers and parents in overcoming reading difficulties experienced by students in class IV elementary school. This type of research is qualitative research using the case study method. The data sources in this research are students, teachers and parents with the research subject being a fourth grade elementary school student. The results of this research are that there are several factors that cause reading difficulties experienced by students, including interest factors, motivation factors, family environmental factors and family economic factors. The efforts teachers and parents have made to overcome reading difficulties (dyslexia) experienced by students are using learning media, increasing self-confidence and providing motivation, and providing study guidance for students with reading difficulties.

This research is motivated by the fact that children’s creativity skilss are not yet optimal, which is caused by unattractive learning media and a lack of learning activities that are able to develop creativity in children. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of painting on salt to develop creativity in young children. This research uses a quantitative methodology in the form of a quasi-experiment. This research was attended by all young children at the Kemala Bhayangkari 03 Alai Kindergarten, Padang City, totaling 77 children. This research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 24 children consisting of classes B3 and B6, each with 12 children. Data collection techniques use tests, observation and documentation with six statement items. Data analysis techniques were carried out by testing normality, homogeneity and hypothesis testing with the help of computerized SPSS.26. The average pre-test and post-test results in the experimental class were 13.08 and 19.58. Meanwhile, the average pre-test and post-test in the control class was 12.50 and 17.92. Based on the results of the research hypothesis test, it shows that the pre-test and post-test data for the experimental class show a Sig. (2-tailed) which is 0.007 < 0.05, so it is significant. Based on this, it can be concluded that the activity of painting on salt has a significant influence on developing creativity in early childhood at Kemala Bhayangkari 03 Alai Kindergarten, Padang City.

It is know that one of the factors that can influence the nation’s progress is the quality of human resources or human resources, imcluding mastering knowledge and technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. in this day and age, the quality of education is increasingly being demanded to improve even more, this is because it can keep up with the current developments of the times which are currently developing very rapidly. Nowadays, learning media is an indispensable basis for the success of the learning process. This research aims to be able to develop interactive learning media assisted by Microsoft PowerPoint. Where this learning media was created using the canva application, about the Pancasila Prinsiples and Pancasila values as the basis of the state in everyday life, for elementary school students and see the response students towards the learning media developed. This research was developed based on the R&D stages of the AIDDE model. The subjects in this research were class IV students.

This study is motivated by the media and game tools used by teachers in activities to develop children's counting skills are less effective and varied such as using blackboards and magazines so that the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of animal bowling games on children's counting skills at Aisyiyah 1 Kindergarten, Bukittinggi City. This study uses a quantitative approach in the form of quasi-experimental with the type of nonequivalent control group design which aims to determine the effect of animal bowling games on children's counting skills at Aisyiyah 1 Kindergarten, Bukittinggi City. The population of this study were children in Aisyiyah 1 Kindergarten, Bukittinggi City, totaling 174 children divided into 12 study groups. Sampling with purposive sampling technique, Group B5 and B6 each 12 children. Data collection with an action test using 5 statement items. Data analysis techniques using normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS version 26 for windows. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, based on the t test, it is known (2-tailed) is 0.02 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an effect of animal bowling games on children's counting skills at Aisyiyah 1 Kindergarten, Bukittinggi City.

This research was motivated by the problem of parents not understanding the concept of playing for children aged 5-6 years at Tadika Ilmu Hayat, Kuala Lipis, Pahang, Malaysia. This is because there are many influencing factors, including the job held by parents which can also influence their views on the concept of play for children at school. The aim of this research is to find out the views of preschool parents and to describe differences in parents' views regarding the concept of children's play at Tadika Ilmu Hayat, Kuala Lipis, Pahang, Malaysia.This type of research is quantitative research with data analysis techniques through service studies. The population in this research was 40 people, consisting of 20 mothers and 20 fathers as the research sample. This research instrument used a questionnaire, so that a sample size of 40 people was obtained. The data collection tool is a questionnaire with a Likert Scale model which has been tested for validity and reliability using the SPSS (Statistical Package and Social Science) 20.0 For Windows program.The research results show that: (1) General Perception of Children's Games is 86%; (2) Parents' perception of the concept of playing at home was 75.75%; (3) Parents' perception of the concept of play in preschool is 83.75%.Based on the results of research data analysis, it can be concluded that the hypothesis can be accepted empirically. This means that it is clear that the mother's percentage is higher than the father's. This has proven that mothers play a more important role in responding to children's play concepts than fathers. Apart from that, the mother's response is higher than the father's because the mother spends more time with the child than the father.

Interest in entrepreneurship in elementary school students needs to be fostered from an early age, especially in rural areas which have great entrepreneurial potential. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence interest in entrepreneurship among elementary school students in rural areas. The method used is a literature test by reviewing various scientific sources such as journals, articles and books that are relevant to the research topic. The research results show that there are several factors that influence interest in entrepreneurship among elementary school students in rural areas, namely: 1) Internal factors: Personal abilities, motivation and entrepreneurial character. 2) External factors: Support from family, school and surrounding environment. Internal factors include self-confidence, the desire to be independent, and the ability to take risks and innovate. Meanwhile, external factors include support from parents and family who provide encouragement and role models in entrepreneurship, the role of teachers and the school curriculum which supports entrepreneurial education, as well as the surrounding environment which provides opportunities and resources for entrepreneurship. This research provides implications for the development of entrepreneurship education programs in elementary schools in rural areas to increase students' interest in entrepreneurship. It is hoped that the implementation of a structured and sustainable program can foster interest and entrepreneurial skills from an early age, so that students can exploit local potential and contribute to the regional economy in the future.

The aim of this research is to improve learning outcomes for writing argumentative texts through the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Compotition (CIRC) model for fifth grade elementary school students and to describe the obstacles and solutions for implementing the CIRC model in improving Indonesian language learning outcomes in writing argumentative texts. The main research method used was qualitative methods which were carried out during one meeting. The subjects of this research were class V students. The data collection techniques used were observation and analysis of argumentative texts produced by students. The research results show that the CIRC model shows a significant interaction with students' critical thinking abilities in its influence on their ability to write argumentative texts. These results show that the CIRC model can significantly improve students' ability to write argumentative texts, both for students who have high and low critical thinking abilities.

This research is motivated by the use of technology in the learning process which can provide a positive influence that can increase teaching effectiveness and learning achievements. Media Book Creator can increase students' learning motivation and can create a meaningful and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students. The aim of this research is to develop media using the Book Creator Application for Learning Pancasila Education in Elementary Schools that is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The subjects of this research were class IV students at SDN 11 Bukit Apit Puhun for the trial school and SDN 02 Pilot Bukittinggi for the research school. Data from this research were obtained from validation sheets, practicality sheets, and pretest-posttest scores. The validation results were 90% for material experts, 95% for language experts and 90% for media experts in the very valid category. The results of the practicality test at the trial school on the teacher response questionnaire got a percentage of 95% in the very practical category and the results of the practicality test of the student response questionnaire got a percentage of 95.9% in the very practical category. Meanwhile, the results of the practicality test in the research school on the teacher response questionnaire got a percentage of 97.5% in the very practical category and the practicality test results of the student response questionnaire got a percentage of 96.6% in the very practical category. The effectiveness test results obtained a result of 90.2% in the very high category. Thus it can be concluded that the media using the Book Creator application in Pancasila Education Learning in Elementary Schools is valid, practical and effective in use.
