Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the existence of social differentiation or social stratification in the novel Anak Semua Bangsa. The purpose of this research is to criticize and describe the social stratification gap between the natives and the Dutch. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Literature study is a technique of collecting data sources and the nature of this research. The sociology of literature approach is used to describe the data obtained by the stratification theory or social class differentiation. The results of the research show that we can criticize the novel Anak Semua Bangsa, the part of social stratification, in which there are still social gaps or discrimination. This social stratification is contained and remains in effect. The lowest strata are indigenous peoples while the highest strata are still occupied by Dutch Europeans. The Dutch control everything that happens in the Indies.Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya pembeda sosial atau stratifikasi sosial dalam novel Anak Semua Bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkritisi dan menggambarkan kesenjangan stratifikasi sosial antara pribumi dengan bangsa Belanda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Studi pustaka menjadi teknik pengumpulan sumber data dan sifat dari penelitian ini. Pendekatan sosiologi sastra digunakan untuk menjabarkan data-data yang didapatkan dengan teori stratifikasi atau kelas pembeda sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Anak Semua Bangsa dapat kita kritisi bagian stratifikasi sosial, yakni masih adanya kesenjangan atau diskriminasi sosial. Stratifikasi sosial ini termuat dan tetap berlaku. Strata terendah adalah bangsa pribumi sementara strata tertinggi tetap diduduki oleh Bangsa Eropa Belanda. Belanda menguasai segala hal yang terjadi di Hindia.

Abstract

Abstract: The research entitled “Pattern Register Language Bus Crews Inter City Inter Provincial (AKAP) at Terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta” aims to describe the form of the registers of the inter-provincial city bus crew in the Tirtonadi Terminal of Surakarta, patterns of language variations caused by social factors one of which registers, and the emergence of the frequent register of the bus crew. Register becomes something very interesting to be examined in terminal Tirtonadi, because often social communication language. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative method by doing observation directly and place is not bound. The results of the study showed 50 word register findings that were classified according to the register form, the bus crew language register pattern, the creation of new words with different meanings and special words in the community between bus crews.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud register bahasa kru bus Antar Kota Antar Provinsi (AKAP) di Terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta, pola variasi-variasi bahasa yang disebabkan karena faktor sosial salah satunya register, dan kemunculan register yang sering dipakai kru bus. Register menjadi sesuatu yang sangat menarik untuk diteliti di Terminal Tirtonadi karena seringnya komunikasi sosial yang dimunculkan dengan menggunakan pola bahasa komunikasi khusus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi secara langsung dan tempat tidak terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 50 temuan kata register yang diklasifikasi berdasarkan wujud register, pola register bahasa kru bus, penciptaan kata baru dengan makna yang berbeda dan kata khusus dalam komunitas antar kru bus.

Abstract

Indonesia has many cultures. One look through the diversity of Indonesian culture, which is one of the region is Maros, South Sulawesi. In addition, Indonesia is also renowned as one of the nation that has a high enough rank of complexity. Indonesian complexity appears in profile in Indonesian language. This article will look at the diversity of Indonesian based on ancient human migration patterns in the archipelago. In addition, it will also be reviewed on the role of the only language that has managed to unite the cultural diversity of ethnicity, and languages in Indonesia. The existence of a national language in Indonesia only because of the already established agreements among Indonesian people to their social ties. The agreement occurred cumulatively. Many factors affect the diversity of languages that exist in Indonesia. Among the factors that generate the linguistic diversity is a factor of two ancient human migration, the migration of Austronesian and Australo-Melanesian. Two current distribution of the prehistoric human remains influential in the formation of culture and language in the archipelago until now. All indigenous languages in Indonesia generated from two groups of ancient languages, the Austronesian language family and the Papuan languages family. Austronesian language family moved in the archipelago around 4,000 years ago. Meanwhile, Papuan language families move in the archipelago since 40,000 years ago. Thus it can be said that the diversity of language in contemporary Indonesia should be associated with the migration factor and several other factors. Other factors, among others, such as migration, the geography of the archipelago with many islands and mountains, and social factors and communication. Seeing these things, it can also noted that Indonesia has a very diverse languages. Unlike delivered Indonesia has only two varieties in language, namely formal and non-formal varieties. It would be flawed if it still considers Indonesian has only two varieties from the 250 speakers.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find the meaning of the verb cooking in Banjarese. The data in this study were obtained through interviews with native speakers of the Banjarese. The researcher did the interviews which followed by the note-taking technique in collecting the data. Then, the researcher used the theory of Natural Semantic Metalanguage (MSA) by Wierzbicka (1996) to analyze the data. The result of the data analysis shows that cooking in Banjarese consists of 13 lexicons, which are categorized based on cooking techniques, facilities and tools used. The 13 lexicons of cooking verbs in Banjarese are tumis, oseng, jarang, sangging, gangan, sumap, tumpi, tu'up, pais, banam, ubar, samgrai, sanga. Keywords: Banjarese; Natural Semantic Metalanguage; Cooking Verb Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk untuk mengungkapkan makna yang ada dalam verba memasak dalam bahasa Banjar. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan penutur asli bahasa Banjar. Dalam mengumpulkan data, peneliti melakukan wawancara yang dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat yang digunakan untuk mencatat jawaban dari informan Kemudian, peneliti menggunakan teori Metabahasa Semantik Alami (MSA) oleh Wierzbicka (1996). Hasil dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa memasak dalam bahasa Banjar terdiri atas 13 leksikon, yang dikategorikan berdasarkan teknik memasak, sarana dan alat yang digunakan. 13 leksikon verba memasak dalam bahasa Banjar antara lain tumis, oseng, jarang, sangging, gangan, sumap, tumpi, tu’up, pais, banam, ubar, sangrai, sanga. Kata Kunci: Bahasa Banjar; Metabahasa Semantik Alami; Verba Memasak

Abstract

This study tried to see how far the interference of Betawi language in Department of  Education  Indonesian  Language  and  Literature  students’  short  story,  Faculty  of Tarbiya and Teaching Sciences, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta? It would be interesting to make a research about it, because the location of the campus, located on the border between Jakarta and Tangerang, Banten. Therefore the researcher assumed it would be found the Betawi language interference in students’ short story.The  method  of  this  research  is  combining  quantitative  and  qualitative. Quantitative used to see the amount of Betawi language interference while qualitative used to describe forms of interference that are found. The sample data of this study is the short story  created by students from the Department of Education Indonesian Language and Literature which organized to fulfill the assigment of writing subject.The  results  obtained  in  this  study  as  follow:  1)  the  forms  of  interference  were found: the interference of word, affixation interference which include prefix, suffix, confix, and  the  repetition  of  the  word;  2)  The  amount  for  each  interference  that  occurs;  (a) Interference of suffix is most present in 23 (36.51%); (b) Interference in the category of prefix were 12 (19:05%), (c) interference in confix category were 9 or 14:28%, and (d) Interference  in  the  form  of  word  categories  were  19  (30.15%).  There  were  63 morphological interference from 36 students’ short stories.

Abstract

Abstract: The speaking skills of BIPA 1 learners include the ability to pronounce Indonesian phonemes accurately. The accuracy of phoneme pronunciation is not only intended for fluency in speaking, but so that students are able to distinguish the meaning of words. By utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, this study aims to describe the pronunciation of BIPA learners in Egypt in a speaking ability test. This pronunciation description indicates the ability of BIPA learners to recognize vocabulary, the meaning of words, as well as the difficulty of pronunciation in tests of speaking ability. The results of this study indicate that beginner BIPA learners in Egypt have difficulty at the phonological level, namely the phonetic articulation of consonant sounds / b /, / p /, / ŋ /, / ɲ /, / k /, / ʔ / and consistently having difficulty to map sound / b / to / p /. In addition, it tends to double the sound / ŋ / with / ɡ /, also avoiding the sound / ɲ /.Abstrak: Kemahiran berbicara pemelajar BIPA 1 mencakup kemampuan melafalkan fonem bahasa Indonesia dengan jitu. Ketepatan pelafalan fonem tidak semata ditujukan untuk kelancaran berbicara, namun agar pemelajar mampu membedakan makna kata. Dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelafalan pemelajar BIPA di Mesir dalam tes kemampuan berbicara.  Deskripsi pelafalan ini mengindikasikan kemampuan pemelajar BIPA dalam mengenali kosakata, makna kata-kata, serta kesulitan pelafalan dalam tes kemampuan berbicara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemelajar BIPA pemula di Mesir memiliki kesulitan pada level fonologis, yaitu pada artikulasi fonetik pada bunyi konsonan /b/, /p/, /ŋ/, /ɲ/, /k/, /ʔ/ dan secara konsisten kesulitan untuk memetakan bunyi /b/ ke /p/. Selain itu, cenderung menggandakan bunyi /ŋ/ dengan /ɡ/, juga menghindari bunyi /ɲ/.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to do an in-depth study of the representation of injustice cointaned in the anthology of poetry Nyanyian Akar Rumput written by Wiji Thukul and its implication in learning Indonesian language. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis method. The research concludes that the analyzed poems represent acts of injustice, such as commutative and recreative injustice. The results of this research showed: (1) Representation of creative injustice was found in the poem entitled “Peringatan” that revealed people’s freedom in voicing criticism to fight for their rights as citizens; (1) Representation of creative injustice was found in the poem entitled “Penyair” that revealed the poet’s disappointment with the regime due to his freedom to work; (3) The implication of this research can be used by teachers and students as learning materials for literary studyAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam mengenai representasi ketidakadilan yang terdapat di dalam kumpulan puisi Nyanyian Akar Rumput karya Wiji Thukul serta implikasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan puisi yang dianalisis mempresentasikan adanya tindak ketidakadilan kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Representasi ketidakadilan kreatif ditemukan pada puisi berjudul “Peringatan” yang mengungkapkan tentang ketidakbebasan rakyat dalam menyuarakan kritik untuk memperjuangkan hak-haknya sebagai warga negara ; (2) Representasi ketidakadilan kreatif ditemukan pada puisi berjudul “Penyair” yang mengungkapkan tentang kekecewaan penyair terhadap rezim saat itu akibat ketidakbebasan dalam berkarya; (3)Implikasi representasi ketidakadilan pada puisi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dapat dimanfaatkan oleh guru dan siswa sebagai bahan pembelajaran sastra.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper describes the Indonesian interference into Madurese usage. The usage of Indonesian and Madurese language alternately allows interference. In general, interference is focused on the effect of one language (L1) into second language (B2) or other language. Interference often occurs in a casual register. However, there is little interference that occurs in the formal register, such as in the teaching and learning process of Indonesian. The findings of this study were the occurrence of grammatical interference  in the morphological and phonological levels. Abstrak: Makalah ini mendeskripsikan interferensi bahasa Indonesia terhadap penggunaan bahasa Madura. Penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Madura secara bergantian memungkinkan terjadinya interferensi. Secara umum interferensi lebih fokus pada pengaruh bahasa satu (B1) pada penggunaan bahasa kedua (B2) atau bahasa lainnya. Interferensi sering terjadi pada ragam santai. Namun tidak sedikit ditemukan interferensi yang terjadi pada ragam resmi, seperti dalam proses belajar mengajar bahasa Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to know the contribution of paragraph knowledge to the skill of argument writing. Because at this time it appears that knowledge of the writing or paragraph less attention in writing. Though good writing is also seen from the writing or knowledge of paragraphs are good as well. While in the skill of argumentation writing, the student still difficulties in giving opinion or opinion of phenomenon that happened and actual moment at this time. This research method using descriptive correlational design. The population of this study are students of Indonesian Education Studies Program BP 20016/2017 which amounted to 30 people. Based on the result of research that the average knowledge of paragraph is 32,25. And the contribution of paragraph knowledge to argumentation writing skills is 12%. So it can be concluded that the knowledge of paragraphs affect the skill of writing argumentation of students of Bung Hatta University School of Education, but the knowledge of the paragraph is very less that seen from the average class.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi pengetahuan paragraf terhadap keterampilan menulis argumentasi. Karena pada saat ini terlihat bahwa pengetahuan terhadap tata tulis atau paragraf kurang diperhatikan dalam menulis. Padahal tulisan yang baik itu juga dilihat dari tata tulis atau pengetahuan terhadap paragraf yang baik pula. Sedangkan pada keterampilan menulis argumentasi, mahasiswa masih kesulitan dalam memberikan opini atau pendapat fenomena yang terjadi dan teraktual pada saat sekarang ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia BP 20016/2017 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa rata-rata pengetahuan paragraf adalah 32,25. Serta kontribusi pengetahuan paragraf terhadap keterampilan menulis argumentasi sebesar 12%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan paragraf berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis argumentasi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Universitas Bung Hatta, akan tetapi pengetahuan terhadap paragraf sangat kurang yang dilihat dari rata-rata kelas.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mengungkapkan praktik moderasi beragama melalui literasi sastra Indonesia oleh santri pondok pesntren di Purwokerto. Penelitian dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren An-Najah, Kutasari-Purwokerto, (b) Pondok Pesantren Fatul Huda, Kauman Purwokerto, (c) Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, Dukuhwaluh Kembaran-Purwokerto, dan (d) Pondok Pesantren Al-Amien, Pabuwaran Purwokerto. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, studi dokumen, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa praktik moderasi beragama melalui literasi sastra Indonesia oleh santri pondok pesantren di Pondok Pesantren An-Najah, Kutasari-Purwokerto,) Pondok Pesantren Fatul Huda, Kauman Purwokerto, Pondok Pesantren Darussalam, Dukuhwaluh Kembaran-Purwokerto, dan Pondok Pesantren Al-Amien, Pabuwaran Purwokertoberangkat dari pembacaan kitab yang dilaksanakan secara bandongan, selain sorogan. Sastra sangat penting untuk diajarkan di pesantren karena sastra sama halnya dengan tasawuf, mendekatkan hati manusia kepada Allah. Kemampuan bersastra dalam diri santri mampu melembutkan hati dan perilaku. Hati dan perilaku yang lembut itulah pangkal dari sikap keberagamaan yang moderat (tengah). Sikap moderat ini adalah sikapnya Nabi Muhammad Saw, karena beliau adalah sosok yang adil bagi kaumnya dan bagi orang lain. Karena pengetahuan agama dan sastra yang mendalam, santri memiliki kepekaan dan sikap egaliter yang kuat.
