Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in the quality of reading the Qur'an in Sukawera Village, Kertasemaya District, Indramayu Regency. The Qur'an as a guide and the first and main guide for mankind has laid the foundations of the straight path, then ordered humans to walk towards Him. When someone reaches the stage of awareness that the Qur'an contains various explanations of various issues, summarizing many truths in it, then at that time he will realize how great the benefits are in studying it. The purpose of religious learning activities for children is to get to know religion and improve the ability to read and write the Qur'an and memorize it for children in Sukawera Village. The approach used in implementing this supporting program is to conduct direct dialogue conducted by the interviewer and observe the atmosphere by conducting a general exploration thoroughly. The analysis used by systematically searching and arranging notes from observations, interviews, pre-test and post-test results to improve the researcher's understanding of the case being studied. The results of this activity are an increase in the ability to read the Qur'an and memorize it correctly according to tajwid.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the professionalism of fiqh teachers in improving student learning outcomes at MTs Negeri 12 Indramayu. Because the role of teacher professionalism is something that must be possessed by a teacher, including a fiqh teacher. Because the professionalism of a teacher has a very dominant role in teacher competence, even though the sophistication of technology is already very impressive. With a qualitative approach research and field study type. The results of this study show how big the teacher factor is in helping students learn, so teachers must have a professional attitude. So that it can be that a good relationship between a teacher and students will make students love their teachers and students will like fiqh subjects, and allow students to learn as well as possible. An educator revealed that school factors influence learning including teaching methods, teacher-student relationships, curriculum, learning methods, and homework.

Abstract

This study aims to describe a case related to the optimization of teaching and learning activities in Fiqh subjects during the Covid-19 pandemic. because this study was motivated by the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic which currently requires teaching and learning activities to be carried out with Distance Learning (PJJ) or online. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. In addition, this study will describe a phenomenon of teaching and learning activities that occur during Covid-19. The results of the study show that the productivity of fiqh learning is also one of the things that must be given as much as possible. For a Muslim, fiqh is a procedure for worship in everyday life such as prayer, infaq and alms. In this study, the method used is descriptive qualitative observation. The results of the study obtained are that there are several ways for educators and students who are able to provide optimal fiqh learning activities. The method used by educators is to give assignments, discussions, and questions and answers as well as motivation to students to follow fiqh learning with enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the way students do it is to divide their time between studying and relaxing, and to do the assignments given by the educators to be done by reading notebooks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of School Environment on Student Learning Motivation at MTs Darun Nahwi Singajaya. The population in this study were 3 teachers and all students totaling 79 people. Sampling used a technique to determine samples from a population that has certain characteristics only. The number of samples set was 38 students. Data collection techniques used were: observation, questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaire data were analyzed using a frequency table. While interview and observation data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive approach which was analyzed through 3 stages, namely: Data reduction, Data presentation and Data verification. The results showed that the MTs Darun Nahwi school environment influenced student learning motivation. This can be proven from the percentage of influence of school environmental conditions, namely 60.53%, learning facilities 47.37%, learning infrastructure 50.03%, relationships between students 42.13%, relationships with teachers 68.42% and relationships with school staff 52.6%, school atmosphere 52.65%, the role of teachers as motivators in learning activities 73.53%, rules 54.91% and cooperation between teachers 63.16%. The obstacles faced by teachers in increasing student learning motivation are students' attitudes and interests in learning and limited learning facilities and infrastructure. Efforts to overcome obstacles include creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, giving prizes for achievements, implementing the rules as well as possible, optimizing the role of teachers as motivators, cooperation between teachers in improving the quality of learning facilities and infrastructure. The conclusion in this study is that the MTs Darun Nahwi school environment influences student learning motivation, both positive and negative.

Abstract

The writing of this journal is motivated by the existence of students who do not understand the material on the chapter of Friday prayers, both from the obligatory, pillars, procedures, implementation and so on related to Friday prayers. In other words, the lack of interest in learning students, especially class 7 MTs Darun Nahwi towards the material on Friday prayers in the Fiqh subject. So that this has an impact on the low learning achievement of students at MTs Darun Nahwi in class 7, so it is necessary to increase the interest of students in learning the fiqh subject on the chapter of Friday prayers. So that students can know and understand the material on the fiqh subject on the chapter of Friday prayers. I use the demonstration method when teaching. Because, basically they tend to like the demonstration method more than the lecture method. Therefore, this study aims to expand knowledge and improve the learning outcomes of students at MTs Darun Nahwi. As the author, I took the title of this journal.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach, so that the main instruments in this study are educators, students, and schools. The instruments that the author uses in collecting data in the field according to the object of discussion in this study are the author conducting observations and documentation. Teachers have some responsibility to provide moral education, when children are at school to teachers at school. There is no need to see which family the child is entrusted to. Teachers are the second parents of students at school. As parents at school, teachers should be responsible for the development of their students in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Moreover, teachers focus more on instilling moral education so that students avoid juvenile delinquency which is basically usually done by teenagers the same age as students such as those at MTs Darun Nahwi Singajaya. Regarding morals or good examples, Allah SWT has given a description of the morals of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Because in life, a human being since birth always does and acts, thinks, feels, feels and relates to others.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling (BK) Program in Junior High Schools (SMP) has a strategic role in supporting the holistic development of students, covering academic, personal, social, and career aspects. This article aims to analyze the transformation of BK program in SMP, with a focus on the impact of program implementation and the implications of its development for the education system. Through a literature review of various recent studies and policies, this article identifies fundamental changes in the approach, methods, and objectives of BK program that are adjusted to the challenges of the modern era, such as digitalization, diversity of student needs, and increasing complexity of adolescent problems. The results of the analysis show that the transformation of BK program involves the integration of technology in counseling services, a collaborative approach between counselors, teachers, and parents, and an emphasis on the development of 21st century skills. The positive impacts of this transformation include increasing the accessibility of BK services, strengthening students' adaptability to environmental changes, and contributing to the achievement of national education goals. However, challenges remain, including the lack of counselor training related to technology, disparities in resources between schools, and the need to address the stigma against counseling services. This article emphasizes the importance of evidence-based development strategies to improve the effectiveness of BK programs in junior high schools, including strengthening counselor competencies, providing adequate infrastructure, and formulating policies that support innovation in BK services. With this approach, BK programs can play a more significant role in shaping young generations who are ready to face global challenges.

Abstract

Client readiness is a key factor influencing success in the guidance and counseling process. This article presents a literature review related to indicators of client readiness that are important in determining the effectiveness of counseling. Various studies have shown that client readiness can be influenced by internal factors, such as personal motivation, self-awareness, and emotional readiness, as well as external factors, such as social support and life situations faced. This article identifies key indicators of client readiness, including openness to change, ability to recognize problems, and commitment to be actively involved in the counseling process. In addition, the implications of these indicators for counseling practice are also discussed, including the importance for counselors to develop appropriate strategies in assessing and facilitating client readiness. By understanding indicators of client readiness, guidance and counseling practitioners can design more effective interventions, which focus on increasing client motivation and involvement. This article is expected to provide useful insights for counselors and researchers to better understand the dynamics of client readiness and its application in more optimal counseling practice.

Abstract

The school facilities can affect the effectiveness of learning process. The existence of school facilities such as libraries and computer laboratories provide opportunities for students to read references outside the student handbook. Classrooms that are not crowded allow students to carry out various learning activities. The functioning of facilities and infrastructure also affects students in following the learning process well. Classrooms that are hot or cold provide discomfort for students in participating in learning.  This research aims to provide evidence that the existence and functioning of school facilities and infrastructure can have a positive influence on students in participating in the learning process. By using qualitative methods in the form of interviews and direct observation, the data was analyzed to see the influence of facilities and infrastructure in learning process. The conclusion of this research shows that the existence of facilities and infrastructure owned by the school helps students to follow learning process well. Teachers can apply more diverse learning methods and strategies. The non-functioning of facilities and infrastructure provides inconvenience and inhibits students from participating in learning process well. In addition to that, teachers have limitations in applying learning methods and strategies in the learning process.

Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) has a very important role or function in building the foundation of children's intelligence, social and emotional skills. Therefore, the quality of education provided at this stage requires special attention, especially in terms of the quality of PAUD teachers. PAUD teachers not only act as teachers, but also as facilitators who guide the cognitive, social and emotional development of their students. The main factor influencing the quality of the learning process in ECED is the teacher's educational background or teacher academic qualification. PAUD teacher education encompasses a range of knowledge and skills required to design, implement and evaluate learning in line with children's developmental needs. PAUD teachers who have a good educational background can create a fun, safe and stimulating learning environment for children, At last the teacher's educational background can affects to develop of the child. This research aims to determine and describe the influence of PAUD teachers' educational background on the quality of learning. By using qualitative methods in the form of interviews and direct observation to see the influence of PAUD teachers' educational background on the quality of learning. The conclusion of this research shows that teachers who have formal education in the field of PAUD, especially S1 PAUD, are more effective in managing the classroom, designing learning, and using media relevant to child development.
