Abstract

This study is a qualitative study. The purpose of this study is to explain the level of students in reading the Qur'an. Describe the constraints in improving the ability to read the Qur'an, explain the strategies of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in the level of Qur'an reading skills, and increase the role of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in improving the ability to read the Qur'an by MTs Darun Nahwi students. The results of this study are 1) based on this test by the researcher, it shows that of all MTs Darun Nahwi students there are still some students who cannot read the Qur'an but other students have the ability to read the Qur'an. 2) The constraints for the progress of reading the Qur'an are that there are still many students who have difficulty reading the Qur'an and the rules of reading it, and the attention of parents at home is lacking in advancing their children's skills.

Abstract

The location of this research was conducted at MTs Darun Nahwi Singajaya, Indramayu. Previously, MTs Darun Nahwi still used the idarah/tadarusan method, because many teachers complained because they felt it was difficult in the assessment and evaluation process of students until the researcher planned to replace the idarah method with the qiro'ati method in learning the Qur'an, with this method it turned out to attract children's interest in learning to read the Qur'an. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the qiro'ati method improves the ability to read the Qur'an at MTs Darun Nahwi. The type of research used is quantitative research. The data analysis technique uses data collection carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The subjects in this study were the principal and staff of the teaching staff, the objects of the study were students of MTs Darun Nahwi. The results of this study are 1. The application of the qiro'ati method in learning to read the Qur'an at MTs Darun Nahwi is quite good, seen from the increase in reading the Qur'an compared to before 2. The teaching system in the qiro'ati method is: Practical, simple, little by little, and alert to wrong readings 3. The inhibiting factors of the qiroati method at MTs Darun Nahwi are the lack of teacher ability in mastering the class, the imbalance between the number of teachers and the number of students, limited time allocation, and the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the values ​​of Akhlakul Karimah of students at MTs Negeri 12 Indramayu by Akidah Akhlak teachers through implementation in teaching and learning activities and outside teaching and learning activities. The data collection for this study used qualitative descriptive using the analysis study method through observation and documentation and literature studies were also the sources. This study also focused on subjects, students and teachers. The results of the discussion of this study show that the morals of students in the current era such as being untidy, skipping school during class hours and playing with cellphones are problems that must be improved by implementing Akhlakul Karimah values ​​such as instilling good faith, fairness and honesty, discipline, politeness and courtesy, mutual respect and appreciation, responsible and trusted, obedient and helpful, patient and positive thinking and of course encouraged by routine activities at the school, namely, Duha prayer, tilawah or reading the Qur'an, sholawat and Dhuhur prayer in congregation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the nature of the implementation of the competition method in improving students' understanding of SKI learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type on the use of the competitive method at MTs Negeri 12. The results of the study indicate that the competition method in learning is a method that can provide a positive influence on a conducive, interesting and enjoyable learning atmosphere. In addition, this study also found that the competition method in learning has a philosophical value that is in accordance with the spirit of Islamic teachings, namely competing in goodness. Overall, the competition method can change students' mindsets in learning, raise students' enthusiasm in learning, foster a sporty and honest attitude and personality. In other words, this competition method is very influential on the student learning process at school. The teacher is only an intermediary for students, and the rest is the students who determine their own future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out in depth about the application of the question and answer method. This study is a qualitative field study that uses observation methods, direct learning with students, and teacher dialogue at MTs Negeri 12 Indramayu. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Because this study will describe the implementation of the question and answer method. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the question and answer method in learning the Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTs Negeri 12 Indramayu is quite successful because with the question and answer method students remember what is learned faster and students become more active in following lessons because there is a question and answer process between students and teachers so that the classroom atmosphere becomes lively and for teachers can motivate students to be more active in learning also makes it easier for teachers in implementing learning because the method applied is question and answer not a lecture centered on the teacher but students and teachers are involved.

Abstract

This article discusses the origins of the Kalam issue in the context of the Islamic revival, with a focus on historical review. Kalam, which refers to rational theology in Islam, has been the focus of extensive debate and research in the history of Islamic thought. By delving into its historical roots, this article explores the early development of Kalam from the early days of Islam to its golden age during the period of Islamic intellectual revival. Through this historical approach, this article aims to provide a better understanding of how and why the Kalam issue became so important in Islamic thought, as well as its impact on the development of the Islamic intellectual tradition as a whole.

Abstract

This research was motivated by low scores in the History of Islamic Culture subject, with learning outcomes still lacking and low. This study aimed to improve student learning outcomes through classroom activities, teacher activities, and student activities. To achieve this, images were chosen as a learning medium, believed to improve student learning outcomes. This study was a classroom action research using observational methods and data collection techniques to assess learning outcomes. This study identified 32 students with low integrity in the History of Islamic Culture subject, with 22 students (69%) achieving or above the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), while 10 students (31%) were still below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This was due to many students being lazy, not paying attention or not understanding when the teacher explained the material, some appeared unenthusiastic, and others were very busy in class. Although the material presented by the teacher seemed less engaging due to the lack of media, the material presented by the teacher appeared less engaging.

Abstract

The lecture method is a method that can be called the conventional. Because from the first this method has functioned as an instrument of speech communication between teachers and students in building a correlation in the teaching and learning process. Although this method demands an active role from the teacher rather than the students, this method cannot be completely abandoned in the teaching and learning process. This method is easiest to implement when the teacher has good speaking skills. In the implementation of class IX state MTS 12 Indramayu it went well even though in its implementation there were several obstacles, including students not paying attention to the teacher's explanations, preferring to chat or even play with friends. To see how effective this method is, it can be seen from the way students listen and see the learning outcomes at the end of the lesson. Effective or not this method affects the quality of learning that occurs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in PAI learning at SDN Singaraja 1 so that it is related to this researcher. This study uses qualitative research using analytical descriptive techniques. Data collection is carried out by interview, observation and documentation methods. The subjects of this study are Islamic Religious Education Teachers at SDN Singaraja 1 Indramayu. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in PAI learning gets optimal results, so teachers must be able to be motivators of students. (1) This study shows that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in PAI learning at SDN Singaraja 1, the results in general have gone well starting from the preparation and evaluation stages, but there is one obstacle in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, namely: (1) many teachers have not attended socialization/workshops related to the approach method, assessment and teaching techniques. (2) Lack of facilities and infrastructure. (2) The impact of this K13 has positive and negative impacts. For positive impacts, students become more active, independent, innovative, creative and follow technological developments. The negative impact is that it burdens students due to increased class hours, a lack of learning media, inadequate technology mastery, and inadequate information support for teachers.

Abstract

Planned education aims to create a learning environment where students actively develop their religious spirit, character, intelligence, and noble morals. Education plays a crucial role in developing students' character, a distinction slightly different from the character education children receive at home. School education embraces the concept that the teacher is the most influential figure in education, and their role is not only to impart knowledge but also to shape students' character. Therefore, the primary objective of this study is the school's efforts to develop an Islamic religious education curriculum to improve the quality of Islamic religious education learning. The subjects of this study were the front office of SDN 3 Pawidean. The results indicate that the curriculum used for grades I-IV is entirely based on the 2013 KTSP (School Based Curriculum). The challenges faced by teachers stem from the development of the syllabus, which is adapted and integrated with the school's curriculum standards.
