Abstract

Arabic learning can take place at various ages of either children, adolescents or adults. Learning Arabic is something needed for especially Muslim because it is important in Muslim life. This paper will explain about the Arabic learning strategy for children. This is important to discuss because children need special strategies in learning for their ages. In collecting information, the writer uses library research method, which is done by comparing several literary sources, especially those that are the main source of discussion to discuss about the existing problems. Then, as the result, language learning is a help to determine how, and how well, learners learn a foreign language. There are many variations on learning strategy. Arabic learning strategies for children include playing, singing, telling stories, projects, demonstration, and conversation. By using the suitable and fun strategy, children can develop their potential well and effectively. The selection of learning strategies depends on children’s ages and characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the drill pattern technique as an old historical technique that still exists and used by foreign language teachers to date. This technique is in fact used as the effective main technique of audio-lingual approach and its variants in learning a foreign language. This research is a qualitative research because it does not touch on the results of nouns or quantity values. As for the type, including library research whose primary data is in the form of qualitative data which sourced from books and literature references relating to the theme under study.The results of this study found that drill patterns techniques in its development lived in two periods, namely during the environmentalist period and the nativist period.

Abstract

This research is focused on the interaction of teachers and students of madrasah stanwiyah in the classroom, the purpose of this study is to know the pattern of learning interaction takes place. Between teachers and students in class that occurred in Madrasah Stnawiyah. Especially in the process of learning Arabic language, which is located in MTs. Barabai. The method of reseach is field research. In terms of theoretical, the results of this study is expected to be a reference, to know how good interaction between teachers and students so as to enhance the activity of learning in the classroom.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find the comparative language style of Moses Story in AlQuran. Then, the people knew the context meaning of the story to implement in the real life. The research method is qualitative using content analysis. The data used in this study are the verses of Al-Quran. To determine the validity of data, there are analysis of credibility, transferability, dependability, and conformability. As another data source, the author uses references to literary theory related to the style of language. The instrument of this research is the researcher itself according to qualitative research characteristic. Comparative language styles contained in the verses of the story of Moses in the AL-Quran include; 1) Personification language style has 3 cases, 2) allegorical language style has 5 cases, 3) periphrasis language style has 5 cases, 4) similar language style has 4 cases, 5) hyperbolic language style has 5 cases, 6) metaphoric language style has 6 cases, 7) litotes language style has 3 cases, 8) allusion language style has 11 cases, and 9) synecdoche language style has 3 cases. The commonly used language style comparison is the allusion to language style.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the learning Qur’anic language and its problems at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 14 Semarang. This study uses a qualitative approach of field case study. In collecting the data, this study uses interview, observation, and document analysis methods. Research instruments are researchers and interview’s guidelines, observation and document analysis. In analyzing the data, this study uses Miles-Huberman interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the goals of Arabic learning are the students can read Al Quran correctly, and also know the meaning and grammar contained there. Learning material consists of grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing based on Al Quran’s text. Method that used was translation grammatical method without the use of Arabic language on learning process. As for the evaluation, it uses both objective test and subjective test for cognitive skill and observation for affective skill. Learning Arabic with the specific aim of understanding the Qur'an is inseparable from various problems, including the complicated Arabic language of the Qur’an because of the miracles inside, the difference betweenstudents’ competencesin reading as well as writing the Qur'an and their Arabic background, and lack of various methods enabling the students get bored because the teacher is able to use the memorizing method only.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze deeply the use of Moodle's open source e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Pekalongan Vocational School. This is a kind of field research and the process of collecting the data uses observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted using analytical description and comparative method (Constant Comparative Method) techniques. The results showed: (1) Moodle-based e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom vocational school has not been utilized properly and optimally by all teachers and only IT teachers knowing how to use it; (2) Moodle-based Arabic E-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Vocational School also has not been utilized properly and optimally in Arabic learning process. It still uses conventional methods and media by having face to face meeting with the provided media; (3) The aim and objective of e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Pekalongan Vocational School is realizing the media as one of the alternative media in learning to create more independent learning process without problems of place and time. Besides, the teacher has more flexible time due to the Internship Program for the XI graders; (4) The supporting factors of Arabic e-learning in Syafii Akrom vocational school are sufficiently complete facilities, the existence of elearning.ponpes-smksa.sch.id as the e-learning website, sufficient funding support, IT training, and student ability in the use of ICT. The obstacles of the e-learning in this vocational school is the lack of ability and interest of teachers in using IT that enables the lack of ability to provide more interactive material for the students, the complexity of the features in Moodle, and the students’ who come from non Madrasa / Islamic boarding school backgrounds which have low ability in understanding Arabic.

Abstract

The study attempts at discussing the quality management with the Quality Management System (SMM) ISO 9001:2015 applied in the Arabic Language Education. The discussion focused on elaborating seven principles of SMM ISO 9001:2015, containing customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, continuous improvement, evidence-based decision making and management relationship. The quality management is expected to assist the Arabic language education to create quality, process and graduates who are well-prepared to compete both in the national and international levels. As a part of the process, the SMM ISO 9001:2015-based quality management elucidates a comprehensive guidance for the Arabic Language Education departments to continuously improve their system to fulfil the customer and the user satisfaction. Seen from the result, SMM ISO 9001:2015 can assist the educational institutions to produce graduates who are productive, capable and competitive in the national as well as global levels.

Abstract

Language is essentially sound. In using Arabic, the sound spoken is related to a certain meaning. A person who has a certain language can recognize the sounds that are coupled, so that they are meaningful speeches. In this case, phonology is a branch of language that talks about the sound of language that is able to distinguish the meaning of a word. The problem that was first encountered by someone in learning oral languages, especially foreign languages ​​and regional languages, was the problem of his speech. Before learning the meaning of various words and the grammar to be faced, first he must recognize the sounds used in them. Sound science as a classical science that has received tremendous attention from the Arabs since its inception. It can be seen from what was done by the lugho scholars including Imam Jahidz. He discussed in detail about Arabic phonetics, the sound of the language, the place where the language came out and its characteristics. Thus, the researcher wanted to discuss the above matters mainly about language sounds according to Jahidz, using qualitative descriptive research methods. The result of this study is al-Jahiz’s thought that sound comes from vibration of human body using lips in oral activity, then there is a transition around the lips which moves to the ears and brain, and finally the vibration is called as vocal. It is divided into psychology and physiology.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the education values ​​in al-Qur’an through its stylistics (a linguistic aspect), such as imperative (al-amr). So far, the exploration of values ​​in al-Qur’an still has a lot to do with the substance of the verse. This study uses a stylistic analysis of al-Qur’an, which is descriptive and theoretical, with a literature approach. The results of this study include, first, the stylistics of al-Qur’an implies educational values ​​and explains how these values ​​are internalized. Second, the stylistics of al-Qur’an in imperative form (al-amr) contains educational values ​​that enable a person to become a better, more developed and mature human being. The education values meant here are obedience, affection and responsibility.

Abstract

As muslims, we understand that Arabic language is very urgent for the development and improvement of our religious knowledge and practices. Many muslim students have willingness to master the language to be able to communicate and understand religious texts, which are mostly written in Arabic. Most of them, however, are not interested in Arabic language class, due to the difficulties in terms of pronunciation, reading, and writing. Understanding the expressions and grammatical features (al-Nahwu and Al- Sharf) are the other challenges that the students cannot handle in short time and the themes are boring. In brief, there is an assumption that studying Arabic is difficult.The questions, then, are how to change the assumption?, and what are the best method and strategy for students in studying the language in an enjoyable, fun, and supportive atmosphere? These questions show both reality and challenge, especially for the Arabic language teachers and lecturers, that there is a need to change the conventional teaching of Arabic language and at the same time, to find a new method and real actions to answer the above questions. This article offers a new method of teaching which focuses not only on teaching of Arabic language but also enjoyable, fun, and full of spirit atmosphere. The method is called by “outbound using fun games” or “outbound fun games”
